It was a bit quiet when we went but realised there were a lot of sporting events happening that afternoon. Lovely food and quick but not intrusive service. Very cheerful and helpful staff.
Great food and good service. Was very quiet so atmosphere not rated high but lovely place!
Once again a lovely meal in the lovely atmosphere of our much loved local.
We had a special occasion - had just gotten engaged, and Craig and the staff arranged to have flowers and chocolates waiting for us at the table when we arrived - amazing!
Very nice food, well presented. Served by a very nice young lady. We very much enjoyed the experience.
Brownies so good.Butterbean pie amazing. Desserts no longer in price with roast which was always a bonus.
Excellent food, great service!
Wonderful meal at our very much loved local.
Service was great - the food and drinks arrived in a reasonable time. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Main meal portions could be a little bigger - especially for the price you pay. Overall I would come again and would recommend it to family and friends! Lovely little pub to have in the village!
Enjoyed the Temple our first visit. Food was good and service friendly. It's a shame that all the Red Mist pubs have Identical menus
Staff here are excellent and service is good. Good attention to detail. Main courses excellent. Creme Brullee was a little too sweet for us this time and the lovely homemade shortbread didn't need the covering of sugar. Always enjoy coming here. Our local favourite.
Thursday Night meal. Food was great and staff were excellent. ( meal deal great value). Looking forward to 'Villagers Night' on Friday.
Visited on a quiet, bank holiday Saturday lunchtime, so pretty quiet; service and food good and very enjoyable visit.
Everything excellent except it was too hot , stuffy and no air ... need to open a few windows to let the air through and blow away some of the fishy smell too ...
We always enjoy The Temple
Wonderful safe gluten free food
Great local pub, food and service good.
Food and cocktails were really good, littlw gem of a pub we found when staying at another pub that wasn't as good!
Craig was exceptional managing the bar and the restaurant.
Our food was very nice, especially the vegetarian dish, and the service was very good.
Kids breaded chicken strips would be much better than charred chicken as children tend to dislike the black bits
Called in for a meal and chat and stayed for 6 hours. Great food both of us had the roast beef which was two slices of juicy pinkish meat nicely cooked with tasty veg. Well worth a visit
We are locals and regular visitors to The Temple. Eight of us dining for a family celebration. In all fairness, two of our party arrived 10 minutes late for our 1pm table, but having ordered by 1.20, we had to wait another 55 minutes for our food, due to an "error" in the kitchen! We were given an extra bottle of wine as an apology but it was terribly disappointing to put such a damper on what was supposed to be a big celebratory day.
Lovely pub in a charming village.
