My favourite restaurant. Fine dining at its best.
My husband and I had a fabulous meal. Thd 4 courses were a joy to the palate. We love trying new tastes and flavours and the exquisite food at the Tayberry certainly did this.. was wonderful... we started our evening with 2 amazing cocktails and enjoyed our meal with beautiful wine. The young waiter was helpful and attentive and we would like to thank him for great service. Fabulous evening we have been before and will be back.
First time fine Dining for us. Enjoyed everything at Tayberry. Will definitely return :)
The only thing that we would have liked would have been a rereshing sorbet between a course
This was the third time we have eaten at The Tayberry, and, as before, the entire dining experience was wonderful. I even appreciated the email 24 hours before asking me to cancel or confirm the booking.
I felt it would have been better to have the menus when we sat down, that way we could discuss and and make decisions at our leisure. Overall the experience was a good one and I would not hesitate to recommend. Seasons Greetings!
Christmas lunch was excellent
Wonderful food and great service. Visited several times now and never disappointed.
Simply brilliant. Clever, flavourful and visually stunning dishes served by excellent, effortlessly competent staff. Highlight was the Brussel sprout risotto - unexpectedly wonderful!. A gem of a restaurant.
Lovely meal again! Faultless service from Alex and Charlotte. Thank you!!
First time at the Tayberry will definitely be back couldn’t fault it in any way everything was excellent.
Outstanding food from start to finish accompanied by excellent wine in refined surroundings. The service level was just right and the waitresses were very friendly and informative about the food. The Tayberry is a gem of a restaurant and should be experienced by everyone.
A very pleasant experience al round. Thank you.
Lovely lunch. We will be back
Amuse bouche- Crab and corn puree- Excellent Starter-deconstructed Haddock lasagne- Excellent. Main course- Ox tail and Barley. Even better, but let down by undercooked parsnips. Given its fine dining and as such expensive this brought down the overall scores; though wouldn't deter me from coming again. Chocolate desert-Good. Excellent slick service. It was a quiet Autumnal Friday night, so not lots of atmosphere. Interesting background music-a playlist of 90s and noughties that I liked-but not necessarily what I would associate with fine dining.
The restaurant was very quiet when we were there, only 2 tables occupied so the atmosphere was a bit subdued. Otherwise interesting and different flavour and ingredient combinations in the food. Very good service.
Great food and service, restaurant was quite cold although it was a cold day.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Fantastic night, food amazing, service outstanding. Such a wonderful experience
Enjoyable afternoon, nice relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, served at a nice pace between courses! Staff very polite and engaging.will definitely be back.
Amazing 6 course tasting menu on Saturday night. Complimentary wine flight was lovely too. The Tayberry parfait was superb
Thank you so much. We had a wonderful lunch. The service, food and setting were second to none.
