About The Swan Inn
You’ll find us in the heart of the original Milton Keynes Village, the perfect backdrop to savour our delicious menu. Everything is freshly made in our open kitchen and changes in line with the seasons, using the best local produce we can get our hands on, served in the comforting surroundings of our restaurant. Something to note… If you think your veggies are top of the crops then bring them along…we accept them as currency!
There were a lot of dishes on the menu which weren’t available and the food took a very long time. Lovely pub though
A delicious meal for the end of a sunny April afternoon. When we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary the staff came back with a glass of fizz for each of us- a lovely little touch.
We just ordered main dishes but had to wait half an hour for them. They were really tasty, but tepid. Apart from that a good experience.
Thank you for birthday bottle of wine a really lovely touch and much appreciated.
We booked a table for a family get together. Delicious food and friendly service. Very relaxed atmosphere and lovely interior decor. Will definitely be returning!
Fantastic Sunday lunch. Thank you.
Lovely food and atmosphere.
Another great meal. Beautiful presentation. The salmon gravafkax was gorgeous. And the service as top-rate as ever. Thank you.
Food drink and service were good but it was cold in the restaurant and we were reluctant to take our coats off.
Whilst our starter course was very good, our main courses were extremely disappointing. Management did rectify this and the experience will not prevent us from visiting again, however your suppliers should be informed that their products were not up to the Swan standard.
Food and drink good, atmosphere and service OK. A bit overpriced.
Hi the service was excellent and very friendly. The food and wine was very good and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great... We had a lovely evening. The only possible small criticism was that there wasn't enough vegetables on offer and the eton mess style dessert was disappointing short of proper meringues and a little wet.. Otherwise very pleased with the meal thank you...
We had a lovely time on Friday for a work celebration. The food was brilliant and couldn't be faulted. Only 2 things which were disappointed about were: The soft drinks were particularly expensive and they had run out of both milk and lettuce (both could have been bought at a local supermarket!) I think the milk was particularly bad as a lot of the group was driving and wanted a cuppa after their meal.
Great Meal and Well looked after, Would Recommend
First time having breakfast with you, we would come back again and will
Very enjoyable family get-together, thank you very much!
Really pleased every time I go moved into the village back in July but have only just started using it
Perfect food, perfect service. We had 7 guests attend for my boyfriends 22nd birthday (we came last year for his 21st too) it’s a bit expensive, hence why we come for special occasions but we were ALL blown away but how amazing everything was. Thank you! See you all soon!
Lovely food and service as always - a slightly rowdy group on the adjacent table were somewhat annoying but did not spoil our evening too much
As ever our go to place
Such friendly staff, really nice atmosphere and the food was much better than you'd expect from a gastropub.
Although the food was good 2 of our party had fish and chips on a wooden tray. They did not enjoy the experience. These sort of pretensions are really no necessary these days. Otherwise a good experience.
We had to wait a very long time for our pre-dinner drinks. So long in fact that they arrived only just before the food. That is not how you want your drinks! The food, as is usually the case, was good and nicely presented. But the evening (my birthday) was somewhat marred by the late drinks and the lack of proper heating where we sat.
I can’t fault it. My wife and I and a good friend came for Sunday lunch and it was excellent. Truly first class, with huge portions. I had lamb, the others beef ... cooked to perfection. Thsnk you chefs! I think you also serve the best kept beers in the area. Service was excellent too. For a Sunday lunch experience it would be hard to better. Please pass our thanks to Asha and the hardworking team for a great lunchtime experience.
