About The Stump
Wood fired pizza, fresh pasta and all things Italian in this newly refurbished classic Cotswold pub.
Thought everything about the place was brilliant. The service was ace. The food is amazing. Our kids loved it.
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Lovely friendly helpful staff and brilliant value for money. Best pizzas ever! 5 stars✨✨
A perfect evening... staff could not have been more helpful. Pizza was one of the nest ever and rooms fab... thank you The Stump
Excellent food and service. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. There were six of us on a Sunday lunchtime when they were very busy but everything was perfect. Thank you very much.
Always a warm welcome and great food.
Have already booked to return.
Has quickly become a firm favourite. The first place we think of for a relaxed dinner with friends.
Fresh ingredients made on premises, always good tasty food, if you like Italian well worth it, perhaps a larger selection on the menu would be welcomed.
Just a great set up with lovely staff and a fantastic way to spend a Sunday lunch.
Excellent meal and service. Great value for money
Great food and drink! I will be coming back soon.
Unfortunately, the pizza was slightly cold with not much topping on top, the salad was limp and soaked in dressing, it was predominantly leaves poor value for a main course salad- more like a green side salad. I was looking forward to a new experience, the environment was lovely despite the fire smoking and making the room smokey
7 of us for lunch, delicious pizzas and excellent crab linguini.
Great food, relaxed atmosphere, welcoming staff and dog friendly too!
We loved The Stump, great ambience, lovely table choices, delicious pizza, super wines, fab giant profiterole and friendly accommodating staff. Would be nice to see a sticky toffee dessert on the menu! A minor point, but we did not enjoy eating our pizza off a metal plate, the metal cutlery on metal plates grated - a bit like nails down a chalk board, so next time we come if we choose to eat pizza we will kindly ask if we can have our pizza served on a plate, hope you don’t mind.
First visit. It was lovely but 2 things: we were not aware that we only had the table for a fixed time. When you book for Sunday lunchtime you assume you’ can relax for the duration. And it would be nice to have a few more menu items to choose from. Other than that it was great.
What a diamond hidden in the countryside .... lovely food staff and accommodation.... if you get the chance please try it’s gorgeous
Easy to book excellent service Good food reasonably priced Plenty of parking Impressed
I usually cannot stand pizza because of stodgy bases. The pizzas at the Stump are so light and thin, and the toppings are so flavoursome. The salad was shared was also excellent. Will definitely be back.
Had a great night, food was delicious and the service was really good. It was busy on a Wednesday night so a great atmosphere...........would definitely recommend.
Lovely evening, very efficient service, thank you.
