Spent a very pleasant Saturday evening enjoying great food served by lovely staff. Enjoyed the open outlook and airy ambience and look forward to return visit
An Oasis of fine dining in Maryhill, so don't let the location influence your decision to go there. Everything is great, except drinks are a wee bit pricey; food prices are worth it though.
have been here quite a few times since the re-vamp and only ever had one small problem on a single occasion which was quickly sorted. Staff are great as is the food and nice place to stop in for a teatime drink. Everybody I've recommended the Strathie to says the same.
The Glassveggie burger is first class! Staff were very friendly and very helpful. The only downside for us was the lack of a parking space, which is not their fault.
Always have a lovely time when we come along. Lovely atmosphere and food and service always very good
Friendly, welcoming staff. Food was excellent, would recommend to friends.
Food and service excellent.Tempura prawns fantastic, Was a bit quiet though. Always have a good evening.
Good service, fab good.
The staff are awesome!
Food amazing staff friendly will be again and again!
A joy as always! Hadn’t been for a while, so pleased it’s still as good as before. 😊👍🏼
Food Simply Amazing ~ As Per ~ Especially the Pan Fried Sea Bass ~ Service is Always Good ~ Drinks ~ Personally I feel the wine per bottle is a Tad to Expensive for a Mid Week Lunch ~ Some daytime Drinks Promotions would give The Strathmore 10 out of 10 From Me ~
Our food was 1st class ( best squid I’ve tasted) The service was great too . Lovely chilled atmosphere whilst being cosy too .
Our party of six (ranging from 3 to 80 years old) greatly enjoyed the relaxed & friendly atmosphere and tasty food on offer here. This wasn't our first visit and won't be our last. Thanks!
We have been a couple of times and we will definitely be back. The food was lovely presented and very tasty.
Always a wonderful time here. Food is fabulous and piping hot! Staff is very friendly. My only disdain in past visits is food and especially drinks can take upwards to 15 minutes (for drinks) to arrive. This however has been on busy nights and I am usually with a table of six with cocktails. Wonderful experience though all in all :)
Had a lovely meal, good value for money and friendly service.
Best burgers in the world
Wonderful atmosphere and child friendly which is great as it is our 'local'. Warm cosy atmosphere, great beer and well-cooked comfort food. What more do you need!
First visit for my daughters 18th and very disappointed. Roast beef was raw and not advised this is how they serve it before ordering Yorkshire pudding raw in the inside. Our other guests complained part of their dinner was cold as was the coffee despite having hot milk.
Great bar. Food and service 100%
Nice place for a very relaxing meal with a couple of friends.Friendly staff, nice surroundings, good menu, nice food and reasonable prices,we will return soon, enjoyed it!
First time visit which we thoroughly enjoyed. Had passed the Strathmore on many occasions and often wondered what it would be like. Going to a Teddy Thompson concert in The Macintosh Church so took the opportunity and were doubly rewarded as Teddy Thompson was at the next table. Excellent service and I look forward to returning to see the view in daylight. Little gem in Marynill which I would recommend to everyone.
Great food in a lovely atmosphere. Also lovely staff.
Friendly attentive staff, food very nice and freshly prepared. its the little things that make it a pleasure , ie pipeing warm food served on a warm plate, well done kitchen staff 10/10
