We had another excellent meal and couldn’t recommend the restaurant/hotel highly enough
Short notice winter pre-Tier4 break. Lovely staff, great food, beautiful beach but so sad to see the hotel so empty.Definitely making this a regular escape venue
Thank you for a lovely Christmas Eve lunch. Everything was just perfect.
We had a lovely meal, the ambience really wasn’t much different to pre-Covid times, and the staff were very efficient, knowledgeable about the food and drinks, and a pleasure to chat with!
Lovely food and perfect service
Absolutely fabulous food! Great local produce and sophisticated cooking skills, combined with outstanding service lead to a few lovely evenings, children and adults loved the views to the Camel estuary.
We had an excellent meal and Rachael really looked after us
Such a treat - afternoon tea was so delicious and varied. Our waitress was a delight and we were so full when we left! Thank you very much, we will be back.
Bethan on reception was excellent. Kind and helpful Sam in the restaurant was exceptional. Others were very good. Atmosphere in hotel was calm and peaceful. Just what we had hoped for in this mad world. Thank you
Superb food, great to be able to take dog as well. Lovely evening, very friendly and helpful staff.
Friendly staff and lovely surroundings. Fab food. Highly recommend
The food is fabulous!! Gorgeous food and lots of choice, the team are warm and friendly. Sadly the atmosphere isn’t, very cold in the restaurant, both literally and metaphorically. Needs warming up and then it would be excellent!
Fantastic hotel, amazing place and super staff. Thank you all for a lovely time and for looking after us so brilliantly!
We really enjoyed our stay away during these rather strange times. All the team were warm and friendly, great room over looking the estuary and delicious food
A really enjoyable lunch - terrific, friendly service and wonderful food. The half carafe of house white was ideal and Verdejo is one of my favourite grapes. Well done.
Food was very good apart from the roast lamb which was rather tough
Food was really good guys. Top drawer. Couldn’t fault and compliments to chef The wait for drinks was really bad though and I don’t want to moan just think it’s constructive criticism. The brasserie only had 2-3 tables so no reason for it.i think we waited for about 20 mins for our drink order And wine to arrive..nice sharp service simply makes us drink more so something to think about. Roast lamb top draw though
Fantastic few days stay, every aspect of the Hotel was excellent and the fine dining to the highest standard.
Excellent experience- delicious interesting food combinations, superb wine and attentive service.
We had a lovely Festive afternoon tea. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Amazing food, with delicious dairy alternatives. Great staff who were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A beautiful setting with a relaxing ambiance with the fireplace. Only 1 little disappointment was that for a festive afternoon tea, there were next to no Christmas decorations up. However it was only the 9th of December so maybe they were still in the process of putting them up.
An amazing meal with fantastic table service. We've booked again for next week!! What a great team you are. Caroline HK
Bug bear of mine dirty finger prints on toilet doors in public area’s and the bedrooms
Always have a pleasant evening when dining with you.
Great afternoon tea in front of log burner- just what we needed on a wet and windy December afternoon. Service was excellent, as was the food - especially the cheese scones! Thank you.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were all fantastic and couldn’t have done enough for us. We’ll definitely be back again.
