Went on a Monday night and was happy with the food and service with the 50% off discount. Emailed on eatigo to help prep a small cake for a birthday celebration and they made it happen. 😊 Only thing was the oysters, some were not fresh. Overall good service and happy experience!
Can add more cold beverage like barley water etc

Food variety - average Taste - below average Website indicated Lunar New Year lunch. Except for cny decoration, mandarin oranges and few new year cookies, none of the buffet spread is cny related.

The Square was recommended by my wife who have a Christmas lunch function 2 years ago. I needed a place for my former classmate to dine and chit chat till late. And The Square fulfilled all the requirement. Food selection is not that wide but you only need to have a few dishes which are good. How many times you went to a buffet with a lot of selection but did not satisfy your taste bud? The waitress that attended to us was quick to clear the plates and top up our drinks. Granted it wasn't that crowded that day but they still are on their toes to ensure that their service level did not dropped. We were the last one to leave the place but they never chased us out which is commendable though it was close to closing time. Atmosphere was nice too. What is even nicer is the price (after discount)! It is reasonable for food, service and the place we needed to catch up. The only downside is the table we were allocated. It is a square table with 4 legs. Because we are a group of 8, they put together 2 such table. 2 pax on each side of the table which is very cramp. They have other table which is more suitable for a group of 8. Make sure you request that if you are going in a bigger group. All in all, I would highly recommend the place for family / friends gathering.
More varieties of foods
We had our Lunar New Year Reunion dinner at the Square restaurant. The food tasted mediocre because of the quality of the food. The oyster wasn't fresh and very small. I could only say their service were good and food was timely replenished to accommodate to the crowd.
Limited food selection;no seafood items for lunch at all,not worth the price.

Fast replenish of food items. Spread of food is okay, except the chili crab is not as fresh. It’s still worth it if it’s discounted at 50%

Food selection for CNY limited. Stream fish relatively hard. Not Chinese staff on duty so for yusheng no one to recite the serving of yusheng. Should consider to invest in bigger round table especially if Cather to CNY lunch or dinner. Wanted to split us to 2 round table cause there were 12 of us which I insisted to be seated together on joint long table .

Atmosphere rated the lowest because was the only patron given a table outside the restaurant, even though reservation was made earlier, ahead of other bookings. Food was average due to lack of variety and quality was average too. Staff were quite friendly and efficient. Overall, giving 3 stars for Value for Money to be generous on this review.
