Tables to close together was a little uncomfortable. Toilets freezing cold had to put my coat on anytime I was going in. Prawns were so chewy but the girl removed them from our bill which was nice. Food was fantastic. Really enjoyed it. Staff were so nice and welcoming. Really enjoyed our date night here. Thanks.
we really enjoyed our meal but the restaurant felt a bit cavernous on a wet Sunday night which may be unsurprising. Helpful well informed staff, delicious food and a treat
As always the food and service were top drawer. Always recommend here for a special occasion.
Fantastic dining experience, can’t wait to come back!
First visit to this restaurant and a hugely enjoyable experience. Will definitely go back on next visit to Glasgow.
Place was lovely and food was nice although steak came a little on the cold side
Steak was cooked as requested and really good flavour. Waiters were attentive we would visit again
A bit over priced for what it was. Steaks were too charred took away from the flavour of the steak, made them quite bitter. But our waiter Andy was great so that brought the experience back up. The meat was requested medium rare, it was exactly as requested
I was disappointed that the main steak options could only be shared between two people. This means you miss out on the best options if you and your dining partner like your steaks cooked differently. I opted for the Galician Fillet, was OK, not the best nor the worst steak I've ever had. The biggest disappointment for me was the size of the cocktails, they were tiny! it is embarrassing that you charge £9 for them. I couldn't stop laughing when my wife's came out!
I love this place. Great food, great atmosphere. Only thing to change is the tables are too close together & too small to fit all on them
Excellent meal and truly knowledgable staff. Such a pleasant evening which could not be faulted.
What a fantastic dining experience! I loved everything from the decor, to the service and the food wow! And we got two free glasses of prosecco as it was our anniversary! Extremely grateful for that, thank you!!
Superb starters and fillet steak Staff excellent Surprised to be charged for an extra portion of anchovy butter Didn't feel very Spanish
Thank you for making our 1st visit to The Spanish Butcher a fantastic experience. The whole experience was a 10 out of 10. From arrival we were made to feel very welcome our service from the experienced staff was also 10/10. Food was amazing steaks cooked to perfection as ordered. We didn't order desserts as we were full but as it was a birthday treat for our son we had a lovely gesture of a dessert with candle presented with a birthday song from our waitress. We will definitely back.
Always great. Specially the waiter jamie !
The staff were amazing! So kind and helpful! The best fillet I have ever tasted! Was an amazing dinner and would definitely come back!
The food was lovely and the service was excellent. Can’t fault the place. I would recommend the mussels starter with the bacon and leek sauce, amazing. Will be back.
Always enjoy my experience at the Spanish Butcher, consistent with Service, food & wine. However I was pleasantly surprised by the BYOB Monday, which is an added bonus ! Thku SB !
Very nice food indeed and the service was spot on 😁
Good food and excellent service
