Have visited the Spanish butcher a few times before and it's always a great experience. My wife and I visited to celebrate our anniversary and the staff, as usual were very friendly and made us feel special. The food is simply delicious. Shame we couldn't stay longer but we had an appointment at the machine head gig. 🤘🏽
The olives should have been complementary (no Spanish restaurant would charge you for a smallish bowl of olives). The Iberian ham starter was OK, though rather more of the ham and less of the chorizo etc would have been good. Secreto Iberico de Bellota was tough - my jaws still ache, but enjoyed the crispy chips. Service was attentive and they coped well with disabled customer. Not keen on the dim lighting scheme.
Service was first class!
I cannot fault my first experience at The Spanish Butcher. Our waiter was so passionate about the food and following our meal I understand why. EXCPETIONAL. We will definitely be back.
We had a really lovely night. Food was delicious and staff could have been any more helpful or attentive. Would not hesitate to recommend to others, thank you so very much
Love the restaurant and would class myself as a regular. Always consistent quality in service and food and there’s great vibe during busy service times. Best in Glasgow.
Overall a good experience though the a-la-carte menu a bit pricey.
Had a good meal but one person in the bar staff was quite rude telling me to be quiet as I was talking to another member of your staff which made me feel angry. The person I was talking to to told not to bother about it as he is well known to do that .Not very nice won't be back again spent a lot of money
Something we ordered was forgotten but otherwise this was superb. The steak was pricey and not clear how much it would cost, but all the food was delicious. We'll be back.
The only disappointment we had was being charged £20 for a burger. Cmon £20 for a burger
It's more expensive than where I'd normally go but it was so worth it. The mushroom, egg and potato starter was one of the best dishes I've ever had! My partner had the blonde steak and it's still talking about it. I'm veggie, so the restaurant was his choice as there was only one prom for me but I'm not complaining. The cauliflower was lovely and the tomatoes were delicious. I'd love to see one more choice for veggie mains if possible so that we could go back and I'd have a choice of something different. I'd love to see what the chefs could come up with.
waitress welcomed us on arrival and was so helpful by explaining the menu and recommending wine.. Meal was outstanding, wine excellent , everything was spotless.. looking forward to coming back .. We have already recommended the restaurant to friends and family
That was our third visit in three months. Looking forward to the next one.
I would like to personally mention Zoe & the Irish chap who took over when Zoe finished her shift. The service Zoe provided was exemplary, and the young chap ensured he did likewise. Zoe could even recall our booking and telephone conversation followed with a little birthday cake to mark the occasion. We would be most grateful if you would pass on our thanks.
Lovely way to celebrate my son’s birthday. Great food and great service. Hope to be back soon.
We had a wonderful time and everyone there was so friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted, we really were grateful for making our friend’s bday so lovely!
Myself and my wife enjoyed a fantastic lunch with you guys yesterday. The food was fantastic as was the service. We will definitely be back to dine with you guys soon. Kind Regards
Probably the best beef I've ever tasted - not the cheapest in Glasgow but the best by a long way! Great night and lovely personal service. The only negative is that in order to maximise covers the tables are VERY close together. Will def be back.
Fantastic food in a relaxed atmosphere. Waiting staff are friendly and helpful. The type of restaurant you would go to for a special occasion.
Fab meal and great service. We will be back!
An inviting atmosphere, excellent food and first class service. You must go!
Food excellent. And great atmosphere
Great food. The pork and the chips are out of this world
