About Sisters Jordanhill
Located at the sneaky entrance at the rear of the shops on Crow Road Glasgow at the Jordanhill Train station, this is the platform you should get off.
Enter the restaurant through the secluded willow screed garden relax outside... weather permitting on The Sisters Terrace where the ivy creeps up and over the walls the pansies bring out the sunshine smile or in the evening a flicker of candle in the hurricane lamps. Skip up the stairs and a wee peek through the round window past the big clock and warm wooden entrance takes into you into a cosy rustic gem of a find don't tell too many people you might struggle for a table the next time. The Scottish oak wood floor, a quick glass of something from our exclusive wine list from Le Barrique wines and a bowl of hot steaming shellfish from the West Coast. If a comfortable evening spent at the Sisters is what you are after then take a seat peruse the excellent homemade Scottish traditional fayre menu... leave room for pudding as there are few nice choices to say the least.
Excellent in every sense. Great staff, lovely ambiance and fantastic food
Staff attentive in a nice relaxing atmosphere, food very enjoyable at an affordable price
cannot believe this restaurant is closing down. One of the best restaurants around.
Lovely atmosphere and lovely food. The only thing I would like to mention is there were no caramelised shallots as stated in the starters menu of Caramilised shallot, fennel & apple salad served with whipped goat's cheese & hazlenut dukkah just pieces of raw onion.
Love the Sisters Jordanhill and although very sorry that it is closing, I will certainly continue going to the other location.
As always, a lovely meal, cosy atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. Just so sorry that Sisters Jordanhill is closing and that will be our last visit. Thank you and Best Wishes to all staff as you move on.
A lovely find after hearing about the place for many years but never ventured. Food was lovely, staff efficient and friendly.
So sorry to see you close. We have many, many happy memories of this wonderful restaurant. As ever the meal was lovely and the service excellent.
Amazing restaurant, delicious food with a fantastic atmosphere! Absolutely gutted that it’s closing.
Food and service was great!
Not our 1st visit but sadly our last as it is closing down on 29th. Fortunately their Kelvingrove Restaurant is still open so we can still be assured of their excellent service and food.
Food was very nice but Portion size a little poor
Fantastic food great atmosphere Great service loved it
Never had a bad experience at either restaurant
So sorry to hear you are closing.
The food was hot, tasty and very well presented and the staff were very friendly and courteous. I would revisit but it is my understanding that the restaurant will be closing its doors in the near future. That's a great shame as I have visited on a few occasions with friends and we have always enjoyed the food. Also very handy for the train station!
Friendly attentive service and delicious food.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. The food was outstanding, we'll definitely be back!
Great food and ideal portion sizes, however would be helpful to have nutritional info either on menus or available separately
Great food and first class service - highly recommend
Amazing food, we all had something different and everyone enjoyed their meals. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was welcoming.
