About Sisters Jordanhill
Located at the sneaky entrance at the rear of the shops on Crow Road Glasgow at the Jordanhill Train station, this is the platform you should get off.
Enter the restaurant through the secluded willow screed garden relax outside... weather permitting on The Sisters Terrace where the ivy creeps up and over the walls the pansies bring out the sunshine smile or in the evening a flicker of candle in the hurricane lamps. Skip up the stairs and a wee peek through the round window past the big clock and warm wooden entrance takes into you into a cosy rustic gem of a find don't tell too many people you might struggle for a table the next time. The Scottish oak wood floor, a quick glass of something from our exclusive wine list from Le Barrique wines and a bowl of hot steaming shellfish from the West Coast. If a comfortable evening spent at the Sisters is what you are after then take a seat peruse the excellent homemade Scottish traditional fayre menu... leave room for pudding as there are few nice choices to say the least.
Great place to eat
one of my favourite restaurants. Food always excellent and the staff are so friendly and efficient. Highly recommend a visit!
Very disappointed in the Ramsays of Carluke Ham. Meat was dry and chewy. On basis of the quality of the food we would not return to Jordanhill. This is hugely disappointing as we were great fans of Sisters and although we live 90 miles away we did often choose Something stars when we were in Glasgow
Booked this dinner for my husband's birthday - oh boy what a let down. Starters were lovely but without doubt overpriced. Our main dishes -lamb with mash and spring vegetables came out and were lamb with boiled potatoes and winter vegetables swimming in a bath of gravy. NOT GOOD!!!!
Great food and excellent service as always. We have visited a few times and one of my favourite restaurants.
Another lovely meal. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented. Smashing service as always.
Well worth a visit
Fantastic lunch. Food and service was outstanding. Hope to return again soon.
Great food and lovely staff.
Lovely evening and lovely food. Great restaurant to go for a relaxing evening.
Always a pleasure to dine here, food great, staff friendly, atmosphere relaxed
Fabulous food in lovely surroundings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were almost 30 minutes late having got lost! Staff were lovely and very understanding about it. Food was well worth waiting for. Will definitely return!
Lovely meal with very friendly efficient service. We arrived earlier than our booked time, however you happily fitted us in without any issues at all. Very customer focussed. All food was delicious. Coffee with delicious little shortbread was perfect end to our meal. Thank you we will be back :-)
You are always assured of excellent food and service and will be returning again in the near future.
Very friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. The food was amazing. Thank you.
Excellent lunch on Sunday thoroughly enjoyed by all four of us (including 2 first timers who will be back!) Thank you to Rachel and the team front of house and of course the kitchen.
I am never disappointed when I eat at The Sisters. One of my favourite restaurants in Glasgow.
Delicious food, great atmosphere and lovely friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back!
We absolutely love the Sisters and have done since the Ashton Lane days. Excellent food, wine & service. Keep up the great work
