Lovely atmosphere!
Thoroughly enjoyed our night!
Paid €15 deposit for 2 people Food was a box of cold crappy food Extremely dissapointed
I am due a refund and awaiting a confirmation email.
10 euro a head for a small basket of food is not good enough. Took ages to get a drink as well. Only certain people taking orders. Was more delivering and collecting glasses
Brill atmosphere
Great night was had
Very good, would definitely be heading back, would like to be able to get in at 8 instead of the delay at the start
Me and my party had a great night. The whole setup was run very efficiently and fully complied with all restrictions. Tables were well spaced out, staff came around regularly to take drinks orders and it wasn’t too crowded. Food was wedges, chicken nuggets, sausages etc so may want to eat beforehand but other than that no complaints.
Paid 10euro on entry for food for the 4 of us..even though it is not a requirement to have to get a meal or even have a 2 hour limit as outlined by the government. But knowing on previous occasions the secret garden is a good spot and having a DJ to listen to we decided to just book it. I was shocked when we were handed a premade cheese and crackers box. I understand there may not be a kitchen within the premises however there is below in Reardans. This is actually a joke to be honest. The one time we actually wanted a meal when we were out. Then my father (a well mannered and presented man who is well known across radio and the newspapers complained and he was treated so horrific by the manager. Your manager threatened to call the gaurds. My father is 64 years of age and far from the abusive or aggressive type. We will not be reccomending any of our family and friends to visit your bar/nightclub as customer service is not your managers priorities. I must say the table service was great and the other staff were very kind and helpful. We moved on to An Spailpin Fanach and must say what a great bar with live traditional Irish music no entry fee or need to get food. I would advise your operations manager or person in charge to follow suit with local bars and provide better value for money along with customer service.
Absolute joke, paid a €10 a head for the table and the food we got was crackers and cheese.table staff even agreed it was shocking,we complained to some lady that was in charge about the food and the money we spent on booking the table and she threatened us that she will call the guards so wasn’t a good experience and she should be sacked as she hasn’t a clue about customer service and is forgetting that it’s the customers that pay her wages!! I’m a manger myself so I know what I’m talking about.
Really well looked after and accommodated for 3 tables of us, and great to hear music and have an atmosphere
I completely understand that these are pressing times for everyone, and it is a difficult time to work in this industry but I found certain staff (management) to be extreemly Rude to deal with. At one point I was approached by a female staff member who told us we haven’t paid for the table? Which was absoloutly not the case! We had a booking of almost 24 people and everyone agreed the way we were spoke to On several Occasions was not acceptable. We completely understood the rules and regulations, and yes on occasion we did ‘stand up in our chairs’ but it was the tone we were spoke to in was very unceasing. No body moved seats/ tables the most we did was stand up. Other staff members Dan, Dave who were waiting the tables were lovely and we’re vert pleasent to deal with. I would also like to know where our €15 went as when we paid we assumed we were getting food? So I would like to let my groups know where that money went as it was assumed it would go towards our bills and it didn’t. Very unsatisfied customers. I Would like a response as soon as possible please.
We had an extremely rude waiter and to be honest he would be the only reason I would not return. A mistake was made on Secret Gardens part - not ours and you waiter accused me of lying trying to get out of paying for a drink I did not order. His attitude was appalling and I was left absolutely stunned to have been spoken to like that. I will be writing a further complaint about this to ensure it is passed on to management because this male waiter should not be dealing with the public if he is going to be shouting at customers and accusing them of lying.
Brilliant service and tables close for our group. Thank you
We noticed we were actually overcharged for 2 cocktails on our bill. Our waitress said of the 6 of us, 5 need to get a meal and 2 can get cocktails instead (for the 15€ we had already paid) but these cocktails were charged on the bill anyway..
The service was amazing and all the stuff were so lovely to me and my friend. just the only issue we had is the lack of social distancing outside and crowds outside queing that needs to be addressed. But other than I would totally recommend the place. Thank you so much
Fabulous
Brilliant atmosphere and service
Great night had, the only issue I had and I think it was a major issue given the current circumstances was the lack of hygiene 1 male server had. When he brought out our food, he was unsure which burger he had so with his bare hands he lifted up the top burger bun to have a look. This was absolutely appalling and needles to say we didn't eat the food. Everyone else was super.
All good, great night👍
Brilliant night
Great night!!
Good night out
Staff were amazing. They were on the ball and we were never waiting long for a drink. Staff were all very compliant with social distancing measures. Food wasn't the best especially the vegetarian options but the atmosphere and how great the staff were made up for this.
