About The Saracens Head
Pub in the village of Warburton, Cheshire service one cooked food and home of the Steak stone. Large beer garden with children play area (indoor and outdoor).
Great food. Great service.
Had a lovely family meal here to celebrate a birthday. Staff were very understanding and accommodating when a few attendees were late. Also staff were excellent in bringing birthday cake and plates/knife to the table to help us in cutting and serving the cake. To be honest they couldn't do enough for us even though they were quite busy. I will definitely go back and I would recommend it to any families, couples, friends groups.
We had a wonderful meal with you on Easter Sunday, our service was fantastic. We will be back to visit again very soon
Would have liked to be seated in a more open area. However as we didn'y ask to be moved that's our problem.
Really really nice afternoon tea. Would recommend to anyone
Thoroughly enjoyed food but the moment was spoilt when customers with dogs arrived & sat nearby. The smell of dog put us off our food so we didn’t stop for tea/coffee. Don’t like dogs in an eating area I’m afraid. Sorry.
Our second time eating here and would definitely recommend our family and friends to eat at this lovely restaurant/ pub
Came for afternoon tea with my Mum. Lovely pub and they had reserved us a nice quiet spot in the corner. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.
The waiting staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Food however was awful, very greasy, bread was stale, curry was bland. We didn't end up staying for dessert as the main left us feeling a tad queasy.
Our second visit & it was just as lovely as our first visit. Really friendly, fantastic food, can’t fault it. See you soon!
halumi fish and chips is amazing and the steaks for £10 are fab
Always a great meal and attention to detail by the friendly staff is first class. It’s our local and so glad it is. Long may it do well, it deserves to!
It was really busy, but the staff were great at communicating how long things would be and really looked after everyone well
Had a really nice afternoon tea, staff were very friendly and sandwiches and cakes were delicious. Thank you 😊
We enjoyed a really lovely Mother’s Day meal. All the staff were great especially Jenna who looked after our every need. They were busy as you would expect but still great service and food was delicious.
Superb service; delicious food; great value
Lovely afternoon tea. Plenty of food and refills on tea and coffee. Not rushed at all.
The only comment if I have too leave one is that when our food was served it would have been better if dishes were served complete i.e. Sauce with steak and chips rather than waiting for the plates too be served at various times during all our meals being served, but too be honest that didn't spoil our experience. Which was really good and helped making our experience spot on
Lovely pub with good food lovely ambience and very child friendly
Lovely meal for Mothers Day. Great service and Great Food.
Took my mum for afternoon tea for mother's day. Really enjoyed it. Lovely pub with a lovely atmosphere.
We ordered a bronze buffet and the sandwich selection was not as published, instead of chicken and bacon we were given cheese and tomato, not a big problem as they were all very nice but we should have been informed. Also salad was missed until I requested it. I also requested an invoice for the total amount paid which I have not yet received. Thanks to all your staff did for making a difficult day enjoyable for all who attended.
It was the first time we had been to the Saracens Head, The Roast Dinner was absolutely superb and the sticker toffee pudding was amazing, the staff were brilliant too. I would high recommend the Saracens Head.
We were lucky enough to win an afternoon tea for two. The food was well presented and tasty, the services was the best. Thank you.
