Really nice food, lovely staff
Always outstanding !!!!
Excellent meal as always
Many thanks for helping make a special evening great ! We know we can depend on the Saracens providing a 5 star experience. Never been disappointed in over 15 years. Very underrated and from a purely selfish perspective a hidden gem !
Love this pub - we come here for many events as a family and always enjoy it! All the staff are lovely and friendly and the food is brilliant, especially the duck which a few of us have almost every visit!
Consistently great food and service. We have been going for many years and its always good.
Always a great experience, food and service excellent!
Great choice of starters and mains on the menu board. We were very impressed with both the food and the friendly staff.
Excellent food and great service
Amazing food, good portion sizes and excellent service. Would highly recommend!
We both had the pan fried chicken breast it was absolutely delicious food is always fantastic which is why it’s our favourite place to go for a meal
Great from entrance to exit!
We are regular diners and the food is always consistently good. Yesterday we ordered the moussaka, which we hadn’t tried before, and it was excellent.
Excellent all round and very deserving of being featured in the Michelin Guide!
Delicious, as always.
Excellent food , we will certainly return.
We had a really lovely evening. The atmosphere was lovely. Very cosy. All of the food was amazing. My only suggestion would be to serve the brownie warm. Loved the little cat getting warm by the fire.
Excellent as always. Particularly grateful for them agreeing to our request for crispy duck to be available. Staff extremely good. Not pressurised when it came to their three o'clock closure on a Monday. Pubs which serve food should be traditional, warm welcoming places which is what this is. Haute cuisine has its place with all its flourishes but is not a setting for a village pub as is so often the case nowadays. Well done them for preserving its original character!
Always very good.
We love the Saracens Head and the good is always fantastic. The service is also excellent. Thank you
We were given a table right nest to the bar and spend our entire meal surrounded by your clientele either purchasing drinks or trying to pay the bill. The table is also next to the serving hatch so there was a constant flow of staff coming and going . The staff were very good and the food OK however you really ought to think about getting rid of that particular table. The whole 'dining' experience was most unpleasant
