About The Ruperra Arms
150 year old village pub serving freshly produced gourmet pub food, complimented with a selection of local craft ales and beers.
Excellent Sunday lunch
As always and exceptional meal and service. All starters, mains and deserts were perfect. Garlic mushrooms, lamb and chocolate brownie! We asked to be sat in the back room so that we could watch the rugby and it was no problem for the staff to accommodate our request. Lovely wine with the meal . All in all a super Sunday.
Excellent food and service
Very nice food
Excellent meal in a great pub with superb staff.
Great food, and the staff made us feel very welcome.
Lovey Sunday lunch! Nice cosy pub! Great service
The fish pie had been microwaved to such a high heat it was dangerous and had to be left for at least 10 minutes before able to eat. The soup dish was very hot to the touch and your waiting staff should make customers aware as again it was dangerously hot. After receiving the bill, nobody came back for payment so after 15 minutes went to the bar to pay.
Another excellent Sunday lunch!
Fantastic Sunday dinner will be back 😁
Superb food, great service.
First time at the Ruperra and will definitely be returning. The place was cosy but not cramped, the atmosphere was sedate but not stuffy, the staff were lovely and the food was magnificent. Thank you!
It has been many years since my husband and I have dined at the Rupera Arms, we met with friends, the service was very good, just enough time between courses! We felt looked after but not rushed! The food was good! Well presented! The negative is that I was not told we would be allocated a table in the bar, which was so noisy we could hardly hear each other at our table of four! The volume of noise was relentless and for us spoilt the evening! Just be aware of this when booking!
Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere
A traditional and unspoiled pub with a great atmosphere and wonderful food. Hats off to the chef, who clearly has a great sense of flavour.
Good lunch and good value
Excellent food and service. My only minor gripe, (not being a lover of real ales) a smooth or cream flow would have been nice. We'll certainly be returning to the Ruperra though.
Great service as always. Gorgeous good and a decent Estrella
Drinks run out a few times and had to wait a while before someone took our drinks order after arrival
Bad things - Portion size of pepper sauce was ridiculously small. When the ketchup portion served to others is bigger than a paid for sauce it’s an issue. The portion of chips, whilst lovely to taste, again was less than adequate. Bill was incorrect and over charged. On a positive, the steak was very good as was the belly pork. Onion rings and greens again very good.
Food was absolutely outstanding, service was quick and the staff were very friendly. First time visit but will definitely be visiting again.
The service was slow but the waitresses were friendly and very accommodating. The glassware looked dirty even though the waitress said that it was dishwasher marks. We had to prompt for drinks, menu and bill.
The food was superb and we will definitely be back. Service was a little slow but we enjoyed the food so much it didn’t detract from our experience.
Just fabulous! Food was outstanding. Very lucky to have you on our doorstep
