Our Chef's prepare menus with a difference - from Traditional Sunday Lunch to light, healthy lunches and for dinner a choice of innovative dishes all set in a welcoming, relaxed and unique setting overlooking our scenic 9 hole parkland golf course.
Head Chef Sean Horwood brings over 12 years experience in the hospitality industry. Sean and his team have earned their culinary experience under the guidance of some highly seasoned chefs at a number of 'AA Rosette' and 'Michelin Star' establishments.

We were menu tasting for our wedding... Some of the best food we've ever had! All courses were very good, and made it particularly hard to choose. A few outstanding dishes in there too. Highly recommended.
Would have been more enjoyable if staff had not been so noisy clearing away and putting glasses back into cupboards.
I eat here frequently, I think the food and service are excellent. It’s a shame more people don’t use the restaurant.
We pre-ordered our food and also had a list with us, but there was still a mix up and one person got their main as some had finished. It was only a steak and veg and yet it took about 20 mins to prepare?! Each course took a long time to come out so people had to start eating or their food would have been cold. Generally more disorganised and slow than we are used to - Kirsty was not there and that appears to make a big difference.
Enjoyed a fine meal on Mothering Sunday. The food was excellent. The staff did seem a little flustered, though. I ordered a chicken but was served a roast beef--not a problem, for the beef was delicious. My wife ordered a white wine and lemonade, but there was no lemonade in her wine. This aside, the experience was pleasant.
The Sunday lunch was lovely, especially the desserts. We'll definitely visit again.
Venison burger was delicious and I don't do burgers The salad which accompanied the burger was also very good
Lady with blonde hair serving was lovely, very helpful with our requirements for our baby. Food was lovely
Louise, our server, was FANTASTIC. She was kind, funny, attentive and very professional. I cannot recommend her highly enough
We were informed by email by Mark that the 'Proper Pie' on the date of our visit would be Chicken, Leek & Bacon, but when it arrived it was steak and mushroom, which one of our party could not eat. Apart from that, the food was lovely. We had a great evening - thank you. :)
Excellence all round - very impressed indeed with our first visit, having recently moved to the area. On par, and if not better, than many Michelin starred restaurants we have visited. We will certainly return. The food was divine and the waitresses were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Comfortable seating and very good value menu. Ambience and atmosphere all appropriate, lovely views over the golf course/parkland, even on a dull rainy Sunday. I can only imagine the views must be spectacular during the summer months. My only minor criticism would be to have some vegetarian/vegan options for main course, or make it clear when booking to let you know if this is required, as there didn't seem to be any meat free choices on the main course menu. Have left a very positive review on Trip Advisor.
I had a wonderful birthday there in the conservatory—all the staff were fantastic—we and friends stopped the night and the rooms and breakfast was lovely—I would have no hesitation stopping there again and would definitely recommend it
We have eaten at your restaurant a few times now and are incredibly impressed with your staff. They are friendly and attentive. One of our party remarked that each one was nicer than the one before! Genuinely nice people which, along with the delicious food, makes for a very enjoyable visit. Happy Christmas - hope you all get a break too!

Elaine was very helpful on the phone,sending menus choices &booking a table for me etc. The staff were obliging in taking requested photographs. Our xmas 3 course lunch meal was superior and compliments to your chefs! Good value for money & will definetly return.
This suited us really well for a booking of 20 people for Christmas lunch and we had no complaints about any of it!
