About The Red Lion at Milton Bryan
We are situated in the gorgeous Bedfordshire countryside located in a very small village called Milton Bryan.
Food is a big part of The Red Lion, We are firm believers in using local produce where possible, always fresh and prepared with care. We aim to offer a diversity of modern British cuisine along side more traditional pub classics. We move with the seasons so please be sure to come and try our latest menus and daily specials as they change throughout the year! We must mention that we have a fantastic selection of beers and wines too!
There is something for everyone on our wine list but if you are not sure then we are on hand to help! We offer cocktails using only premium spirits as well as non alcoholic cocktails and our Gin menu is amazing.
The team brings their vast experience and know-how, combined with their imaginative creative food and high standards of friendly service to offer a great experience every time you visit us.
We have a children’s menu available and we also offer many of our dishes from our Restaurant menu as children’s portions.
We also have a large garden to the side of the pub. Great for a drink or to enjoy a spot of lunch in the sun. Bring the kids and dogs as we’ve made sure its safe and secure.
Please let us know of any specific dietary requirements you may have and we will cater for your needs!
Thank you for your interest and we hope that we see you very soon at The Red Lion at Milton Bryan.

Came as a family of seven, including a one year old. Food was good but the baby changing facilities were not! A changing mat on the floor of the ladies toilets is not acceptable and for that reason we would not return as a family group.
Quite noisy for having conversation but I guess that can’t be helped
I can’t say enough good things about the Red Lion. I have been a few times before and food is always fantastic, the staff are attentive without being intrusive. I’d recommend more but I like to keep this one a closely guarded secret 😁. Thank you to all the staff, for your excellent food and staff.
Our favourite place to eat and drink
this is our second time to the red lion and once again we had a lovely meal with very friendly welcoming staff. Will definitely be returning in the near future.
Excellent food & drink. Staff were charming & helpful but service from the kitchen was slow. But, the food was worth waiting for. Particularly recommend the salt & pepper squid - it’s the best I have eaten anywhere in the world - the pie was incredible and the hake & chips outstanding. Also enjoyed the wine & lager.
More could be done to stop flies in the restaurant- annoying when eating. We would definitely visit again for both lunch and dinner .
Great food, really well presented particularly the puddings, which were excellent. Very good service Definitely be back
Good quality nicely presented food, good portion size. Excellent service. Will definitely recommend.
First time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent food, wine and service. We will be back.
Absolutely fantastic pub! Loved everything about it! Food was delicious! Cannot wait to return to try more!
Great evening, lovely food as usual. Nice to hear there is to be a refresh of the menu. Love it, our favourite place for a summer meals (It's a bit on the cold side in winter!).
We have been loyal customers for a number of years but Saturday night's experience was awful. You need to employ more staff.
One of the best fillet steaks I have eaten
Enjoyed great fish and chips plus many cold drinks on one of the hottest days of the year in the garden at the Red Lion. The staff were courteous and friendly.First class at clearing the tables and keeping the place clean.Hope to go there again soon.
Excellent quality food and some interesting dishes. Two good real ales on hand pump. Attractive and tasteful refurbishment. Up market but nice to see it still caters for drinkers as well as foodies. The service by young ladies was pleasant and efficient but it took a long time for the first courses to arrive (45 mins) even though the pub was less than half full. Main courses arrived more quickly. However this didn't spoil our lunch and overall experience. A special village pub and highly recommended.
It took almost an hour from ordering to our food arriving, which I wasn’t happy with. Once it did arrive, the food was great!!
I like your roasts. Particularly the ribeye of beef
Never entirely sure if the Red Lion is a pub or restaurant, the food is very good as is the service but the decor let’s all that down, the dining tables & chairs are very domestic and small and somewhat sticky. Time for a refurbishment?
Had a lovely time thank you. Veggie roast was a bit soggy and you weren't wrong with the description of "lashings of gravy"! Might be better to serve it in a jug so people can use as per their taste. Enjoyed reading the gin bottle labels near our table. Super overall.
Excellent food and very good value for money, just a pity we were the only guests eating at the time
Excellent food really excellent - wine v good - gin selectio awesome
Had an excellent meal no problems
