About The Red Lion at Milton Bryan
We are situated in the gorgeous Bedfordshire countryside located in a very small village called Milton Bryan.
Food is a big part of The Red Lion, We are firm believers in using local produce where possible, always fresh and prepared with care. We aim to offer a diversity of modern British cuisine along side more traditional pub classics. We move with the seasons so please be sure to come and try our latest menus and daily specials as they change throughout the year! We must mention that we have a fantastic selection of beers and wines too!
There is something for everyone on our wine list but if you are not sure then we are on hand to help! We offer cocktails using only premium spirits as well as non alcoholic cocktails and our Gin menu is amazing.
The team brings their vast experience and know-how, combined with their imaginative creative food and high standards of friendly service to offer a great experience every time you visit us.
We have a children’s menu available and we also offer many of our dishes from our Restaurant menu as children’s portions.
We also have a large garden to the side of the pub. Great for a drink or to enjoy a spot of lunch in the sun. Bring the kids and dogs as we’ve made sure its safe and secure.
Please let us know of any specific dietary requirements you may have and we will cater for your needs!

The food is amazing! The 2 poor waitresses were run ragged though and we had to wait ages to get served - please put more staff on.
My partner and i were surprised when ordering the wine that it was just plonked on the table ,no cooler and no" would you care to try" etc , also the rose was very second rate , the meal however was very nice ,both starter and main
Very nice food in pleasant surroundings. Slowish service. Above average locally
Unfortunately since my meal of the fish of the day, salmon. I have been unwell. Also my brandy coffee was not very pleasant
Wonderful meal and service. Thank you.
Went with my Mum and daughter as we have our birthdays one after the other. We had the Christmas menu . All three courses were superb. We were given Santa hats and crackers at the table too. Friendly atmosphere. Fabulous lunch out in a great british pub/restaurant. Can't wait to go again. 👍😁
Wonderful vegetarian roast, extensive children’s menu, delicious food and friendly staff.
Great food and staff in a lovely pub restaurant
We have eaten at the Red Lion on a number of occasions and have always had a lovely meal. It was no exception on our last visit. One thing I would comment on is that it would be nice for a few more choices for the vegetarian/vegan diner.
There was a young guy who absolutely put himself out, as did the waitress to make sure our meals were ok and That we were having a good time. The food was fine to Good and the price we paid reflective of this. What made it memorable was the serving team especially the guy. 10/10
Warm and inviting atmosphere. Truly excellent food , each course was delicious.
Great food, and superb Sunday roast.
We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch, the food was first class, as was the service. The only downside was that it was little bit chilly in the restaurant and some of the older people with us had to wear their coats. Overall it was a lovely meal, lots of choice on the menu and all nine of us were pleased with our meals.
Lovely place to eat and catch up with friends. Good atmosphere food wonderful and great service . Will be back!
Been here a couple times for Sunday roast and its Delicious, staff are friendly and welcoming, lovely, cosy little country pub
Food is excellent, as good on our third visit as on our first. I particularly enjoy the squid starter. Have taken friends who say they would all go back again. Becoming our favourite local restaurant
Good staff and a nice variety of food on offer. A lovely evening. Maybe a few too many spicy dishes on the starters?
A birthday dinner for my partner, first time at the Red Loin. Would certainly recommend it and will be back, nice that it is dog friendly as well.
Good choices and delivery of Food, some dishes over seasoned ( too salty) good choice of drinks but service on drinks rather slow due to busy bar. Drafty seating near to door
This is a lovely Pub that serve good, honest food at a reasonable price. Give it a go!
A big improvement in the food. Previous visits were disappointing because, although dishes sounded great, in each case elements were not well executed. This time we had a very pleasant meal and enjoyed friendly service. Will be going back again.
Excellent meal and wine, rather let down by slow inattentive service - it was more than 20 minutes before anyone came to take our first drinks order and the water never materialized. This was not a particular problem on this occasion as we had plenty of time, but rather a pity as everything else was excellent.
Literally found no fault. A group of 11 people all had a lively time, amazing food and great service! The place is a hidden gem and so good we have booked another reservation!!! Will be regulars from now on me thinks. Thankyou for a wonderful time. Nichola Buckingham
I have been twice in the last month and the food and service has been exceptional on both occasions. I can’t wait to go again.
