Amazing, as always.
The standard of Sunday Lunch was good but I was honestly hoping for something a bit more special when we're paying £100 per couple
My food was poor. Crab Pasta. My guest’s steak unmemorable. The wine list was fascinating. I arrived early and there was nowhere to sit. My reserved table was empty but a male supervisor said I couldn’t sit at it until my reservation began. So I took my drink outside and sat in the cold. NOT GOOD. I will not return.
Brilliant service , gluten free and vegan options.
One of family’s favourite casual, great food destinations
We love this pub and have been coming for years!!
Excellent as ever. Great food. Just wish it wasn’t quite so popular when you fancy a bit of cauliflower cheese.
Went for Sunday Lunch. Great food and service.
Really great food and wonderful service when we visited.
Lovely food. Good service. Great venue. My only criticism would be the manner in which phone enquiries are dealt with. That aside, I recommend the Red Lion And Son to all my friends
We had a fun evening thanks.
The Best Pub In The Country
Always amazing. Especially their Sunday roasts. Its become a staple part of my life going there for Sunday lunch! The best. Service is always friendly and top notch too!
Consitently delicious food served in buzzy atmosphere. Sunday roast a particular highlight.
We had to wait longer than we thought necessary for the bread and butter which we had wanted at the same time as our wine. Otherwise all good
Overall a lovely Sunday dinner experience
Always great food and service
My meal on Sunday was nice but not quite as delicious as I've had previously at the RL&S. I had the nut roast and the texture of it and the vegetable mash was all a bit squishy so it was a bit like a stew rather than a roast. My fellow diners had rib eye, the wellington, the trout and a burger and they all really enjoyed their meals so I just made the wrong choice this time. The service was impeccable as always.
Always an excellent experience.
Great evening - good food, delicious wine and very relaxed atmosphere.
Best roast in Highgate!
