About The Red Lion
Located in the beautiful village of Bletchingley The Red Lion has become a very popular destination pub and eating house.
All our food is freshly prepared and cooked to order. Our Chef is passionate about traditional pub food with the best in quality and flavour.
Lovely pub great staff great food , we have been lots of times and it’s always nice
All the staff made us feel welcome, as they always do.
Fantastic food and service - enjoyed by all of us !!
Food was good and, whilst our order was taken quickly and the starters came quickly, the main courses are far too slow in being served. It's unlikely that will be coming back anytime soon because of this.
We love our local pub
Really good night and nice atmosphere
We all had an amazing time at the Reggae night on Saturday.
Went for a Sunday roast. The food was very good and the pub has a lovely atmosphere. The staff we had contact with were all very pleasant and helpful.
Excellent night at The Red Lion, Reggae Band were top notch...
A great night to celebrate Tracey's birthday. Music was fantastic, food excellent. Pub was packed so getting to the bar was tough but we made it, on several occasions !
Really lovely old pub with a modern approach. The staff are always great and the food is always good. A good mix of live entertainment and a big car park in a good location- what more could you ask for?
Good, attentive service and good if unspectacular food. The pub lacks a bit of atmosphere though.
Fantastic pie and makes a change to get loads of filling. Sticky toffee pudding is the best in Surrey! Nice initial greeting from bar staff and table service good too.
What a fabulous night we had Will definitely go again can’t wait till the next one. Great sevice such friendly staff .
Disappointing already by 1pm roast beef run out. Like all pubs desserts expensive.
Had a lovely meal on Saturday 17th August with family we will definitely return
Food lovely and a thing i always take note of is the ladies toilets which were very good...very clean. We hope to come again.
Where we sat, when the sun shone, it was uncomfortable.
felt awkward when we were the only customers left @10pm...got the feeling you wanted to shut up shop...shame really..would return at a later date...many thanx
Sadly , I was not happy with my visit this time. I have always left contentedly in the past. We were seated right next to a large group of people, who's chatter meant we could not hear a single word each of us were saying. I had the fish pie, which had so much salt in it, I left half of it. Not a good visit
Lovely food and drinks in a relaxing atmosphere as always.
Average food and overcooked Tuna steaks and whitebait, ran out of Chicken and Beef for a Sunday Roast, some of the staff not very attentive but one other made up for it. wouldn't rush back to be honest.
Fantastic Service the Food & Music was excellent.
Music was good but couldn’t hear the singers voice very well. The base/sound overpowered her voice.
Great food and service fair value for money
