About The Red Lion
We believe that using fresh ingredients that have travelled little distance from field to kitchen, helps make our food taste great. For that reason we have created good relationships with quality local farmers, fruit and vegetable suppliers and local bakers to follow through on our belief that our food should be fresh, seasonal and local wherever it possibly can be.
Our carefully crafted wine list and interesting selection of local ales ensure that every dish has a perfect accompaniment. With local cider and a wide selection of spirits there is a drink for any occasion, season and mood.
Excellent food and service . Would definitely come back again . I'm not sure I would just pop in for a drink however as there didn't seem to be much seating put aside for this
Brilliant service and food. Waitresses were really good. Professional and cheerful all evening.
A very lovely place to eat. The staff are excellent. With a pub combined in with the restaurant it was very noisy and has we had taken our grandchildren with us the language from the pub was very bad.
Very friendly, efficient service - and delicious food.
Quite expensive. I £14 for a burger is quite steep even if the quality is good. Would be nice to have a bit more salad or coleslaw with it.
Pleasant lunchtime snack but it is a bit dark stuffy and tables crowded together. Waiter hit his head on badly positioned lamp every time he came to the table, as did we! Service slow - we had to get up and find someone to take our order; likewise do the same when we wanted to pay. A bit disappointing really.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening
Food was lovely, although we did think the menu options were a little limited. Lovely gin cocktails and great choice. Majority of staff helpful, although a couple not looking happy to be there! We had a lovely evening though.
Nice atmosphere, good service. Not very extensive menu but good quality.
Food was amazing Would recommend the Red Lion to everyone.
The only comment I would make is that the service initially was rather slow. My husband was parking the car so I had booked in my arrival just before we were due. I was shown to my table but the water didn't appear until he arrived. It would have been good to be asked if I would like a drink! A very good meal, though and we enjoyed the busy atmosphere.
Food was terrific and really nice atmosphere in newly refurbished setting. Service was a little slow and ended with broken cups and glasses dropped from a tray, however maybe early nerves from new staff and didn't detract from our enjoyment of the meal.
Food and staff very nice. Rather quiet.
This is an absolute joy. We struggle with good places around the area and it's great this has been created.
The actual experience of eating there wasn't what we expected from the PR. The food quality was a slightly below average pub grub. There are many better gastro pubs in the area, and better places to eat in Odiham. Also disappointing to see none of the local staff had been kept on.
It was a pleasure to be served by Lilia.
As this was the first night we hope the standards of quality and service are maintained. Good to see the old place back up and running with lots of familiar faces. Keep up the good work.
Booked a table on Saturday 6th May, it was really busy which was great to see and the interior looked great although it was very hot! Food was good, mash under my Seabass was on the dry side and my husbands chunky chips were a little under cooked. I asked about sides but the waitress didn't really offer any advice so I didn't order extra veg. Nice place and a huge improvement.
