About The Raven
Here at The Raven we’ve become famous for our delicious smokehouse menu. Our accomplished smokehouse chefs cook our meats low and slow for up to twelve hours, locking in their awesome flavours. We’ve got ribs that fall off the bone, succulent pulled pork shoulder, luscious pulled beef brisket, mouth-watering chicken wings. We also have a selection of juicy burgers, hot dogs and burritos as well as plenty of your old favourites too.
Our constantly revolving and experimental craft beer and cask ale selection ensures not only that beer enthusiasts of all tastes are accounted for, but also that every visit to The Raven is unique.
staff all friendly and polite. food order all correct.
Met two friends at Central Station off the train from London and headed straight up to The Raven. Table was ready and waiting for of us. Great service and really tasty food. The cocktails were a treat as well. A shared appetizer, mains and drinks all for around £60 for the 4 of us - what is not to like! Will definitely be going back with family and any visitors who come.
Nice relaxed meal, few drinks, football on TV...but all volumes allowed continued conversation. Defo returning 👍🏻
Great restaurant, with delicious food and nice staff.
Staff lovely food good really enjoyable evening
excellent as always, cannot fault a thing. Can't wait to come back
Disappointing experience with new friends as we sat for ages between courses and trying to get the bill/ drinks. The waitress was running around trying to sort all tablesand then disappeared for ages. Only to reappear with another 2 people and stand and chat at the till for 10 minutes! Such a shame as the food was great!
Delicious meal in a great place. Our server Kirsty was really friendly and helpful.
Was perfect for my night out celebrating passing my PhD viva. There was plenty of space in the function suit and food was good.
We were there early on a Sunday afternoon so it was a bit quiet but the staff were friendly & helpful. The place was clean with music playing and plenty of tellys to watch the sports. There is a decent selection of drink but the food was the best, tasty and great value When we're next in Glasgow we'll go back and we recommend you do too
Cocktails were amazing, service was great! Food was a bit on the salty side to be honest but would try something different next time. Would recommend and we'll be back.
Couldn't ask for a better experience in our first time there, easily would be back I think anyone that likes the BBQ type dinners would love this restaurant, plus the staff were terrific too
Staff were friendly and we were seated quickly. My only complaint is that waitress forgot some of my our order and tried to charge for missing sides. Problem was resolved quickly.
Enjoyed our visit
The Raven is my favourite bar these days. Food is always lovely and service brilliant. Will be back especially for the cobb salad mmmm
Nice food bit too pub like for me
First visit on a quiet Sunday lunchtime. Food and service excellent and certainly return soon
Loved the food, from order to delivery very quick. First class service and we will be back.
Food was lovely however our starter had literally just been removed from the table when our main course arrived. A little longer between courses would have been appreciated.
Food was really tasty and plenty of it
food was brilliant, as always, atmosphere great & well looked after by staff. Made a night with family magic.
Food was delicious, and thank you for the specials done for Canada Day, as a Canadian :) Music was very loud in the restaurant part, made it very hard to speak to each other/order food but maybe there was excess noise because it was a Friday night? Pulled pork was delicious an my husband's ribs were so tender, the bone fell out before you could pick it up :) Interesting beers the next day too, orange chocolate beer!
Great music. Food amazing value
