About The Radnor Arms
The Radnor Arms is a welcoming, recently-renovated Victorian pub in the Old Bouverie district of Folkestone. There’s a big, vibrant open dining space and plenty of more intimate, cosy corners. A truly modern public house with a great selection of locally sourced food and drink.
The Radnor Arms, along with The Five Bells in East Brabourne and The Woolpack in Warehorne, has recently been acquired by the team behind Rocksalt Restaurant, The Wife of Bath in Wye and The Duke William in Ickham.
Owned and operated by Chef Mark Sargeant, ex-right hand man to Gordon Ramsay, The Radnor Arms serves the best in locally sourced and seasonal food and drink.
We're delighted to have the opportunity to continue to develop this iconic collection of pubs. After the fantastically busy festive period we're settling in and making exciting plans for the year ahead.
Food was great. It took some time to arrive but it was worth the wait.
Perfect! Super location, staff and atmosphere. I’ve eaten here before and will continue to keep coming back. Well done to all the staff for working hard and providing a great place for us all to enjoy.
Sweet potato was a lovely vegan dish super delish! V friendly service :) will book again soon
We really enjoyed our visit and the food was great! We had a few issues with our veggie order but no ones fault. The only issue was that the knives and forks were already out on the table which we didn’t feel appropriate in the current situation, they could have been delivered with our order. Love this pub, one of our favourite places to have a Sunday lunch
Great food and drink, fantastic place and observing social distancing excellently, spotlessly clean, will be back
The website clearly states you cater for vegans but on inspection of the menu there was no main course other than a pizza made with vegan cheese. The nice french chap did his best to offer us choices but if you do t cater for vegans then simply don’t advertise it on your website. Luckily we have only gone vegan for health benefits and decided to have a cheat night as we were left with no options and didn’t want to walk off and spoil our evening. I would have expected at least one dish to choose from . We didn’t let it spoil our evening, the service was great and whilst we didn’t catch his name the french waiter was very attentive and accommodating.
Very nice environment but extremely limited on veggie options.
Food was very tasty and served piping hot. Service was friendly whilst not intrusive. Staff were very eager to place and nothing was any bother including our wee dog. We have already recommended to friends. Will be back soon...and thanks again.
Never been before, but heard great things and was not disappointed! I only had a pizza as the veg options looked to be limited, though still tasty. The staff were very sweet and the place itself had a great ambience. Would go again to try the outdoors area.
The starter not enough bread with the amount of hummus but it was nice. We thought there would be more vegetables with the main or have them as an extra. The near we found tough and dry which was mentioned. Desert was nice, the staff attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall we will and do visit the Radnor Arms and love the little garden
I have been here several times and always had a great experience. The surroundings are beautiful and clean. The garden area Is a just lovely, the service Is friendly and professional but above all the food is absolutely amazing and expertly cooked. I 100% recommend the Radnor Arms.
Very enjoyable birthday meal . We sat in the courtyard in the sunshine which was perfect . It was lovely to have such good food prepared and served attractively . All very fresh - figs and blue Stilton followed by local sea bass and then a delicious chocolate brownie - all with extra twists and a real treat thank you
Fantastic meal with great staff providing some of the best service we’ve had while in Folkestone.
Wonderful lunch in What feels like a beautiful secret garden.
Delicious food served by attentive and friendly staff in a safe and relaxing ambience.
Great evening very friendly staff and a very unusual and interesting interior decor
A terrific pub, nice food and beer.
Once again The Radnor delivered a warm welcome and excellent cuisine. Service was timely and to their usual high standard with continual attentiveness without being too 'in your face'.
Delicious Sunday Dinner & Perfect Service From The Staff. Covide sorted so 10 out 10 Thumbs Up Guys.
Food and drink are always excellent here, our grandson likes the children’s burger but this is the second time he has been served one with cheese after we have specifically asked for one without. All the other meals were excellent.
Lovely late lunch, will be back soon :)
Had a friend bday meal and they were super friendly and helpful. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Food was delicious.
Lovely food, it felt safe in our own space thank you
Lovely lunchtime celebrating Father's 80th. Louise was, as ever, the friendliest and most efficient of waiting staff. She and the very friendly barman who took photos for us made it far more special for my Dad. Thank you. Food and drink was great. Parents both had the linguini with clams and LOVED it. Even the hand sanitiser is nicer than everywhere else! Covid precautions followed to the letter. Thanks again x
Very well organised. I felt safe and well looked after. The food was lovely and the friendly waitress was very helpful with wine recommendations. Will definitely return.
