About The Quicken Tree
Smart modern Restaurant, Bar & Grill with stunning park and lake views, serving British dishes, afternoon teas, lunches and evening meals.
Stunning Restaurant & Bar with ample outdoor decked terrace areas and options for Private Dining
A well kept secret.
Chips were fried to a crisp ( inedible ) coffee cups way too small for cost of the drink, not enough vegetarian/healthy options, did not feel like a restaurant ( all decorations out ready to decorate birchley suite ) we got married here in 2012 and feel its dropped dramatically in the 7 years as has so much potential, your description of the quicken tree above is way off the mark, views of a lake and abandoned fire engines and fairground rides is more accurate
The service was excellent and the food was delicious, the waiter was so friendly, when he seen my Prosecco glass empty, he came over to refill my glass, this was excellent service.
Staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely
Service was efficient and fast. Food was delicious. Staff checked our level of satisfaction twice. A really lovely experience. We shall certainly return soon.
Another lovely meal. We often visit The Quicken Tree for special occasions. The atmosphere is very relaxing and food very good value for money.
Drinks spilt on one of the kids by mistake wrong steaks service slow with food and drinks
The service was excellent. The food was amazing. Will definitely be a returning customer.
Although the lady who was serving us was very nice, there were only 3 tables in the restaurant and service was very slow. The food came out quickly but service for drinks, trying to get her attention and the bill was very difficult. We were also hoping for the deluxe afternoon tea but nobody asked us what we wanted and the standard one just came out. The food was good and there was a good amount of food too.
Very busy, staff worked hard but service station was slow!
Lovely food and attentive staff
We visited last month and it was 5 stars all round. Something has changed and the food, service and quality was way below par. The manager did explain that suppliers had changed but that should not affect service. Will give them another go later in the year as it may sort itself out.
Great place as we have small children great for them space to play a plenty to occupy them we wasn’t rushed had a pleasant meal great
Lovely meal and reasonably priced
Had a table booked for 9 people, Sunday roasts were lovely and service was good. Definitely would go back again 👍🏼
There was 8 diners in our party so we didn't expect super quick service. Starters were fantastic and couldn't fault them. Bake in box cheese, prawn cocktail and squid. Every one of us loved the starter. The mains were of very good quality the only real fault food wise was the burger, it was over cooked and dry but had a very lovely taste. The service was very slow and clumsy occasionally but the server did inform us they were short staffed that night. A few item were missed from the meal and a whole meal was missing but when we notified the server it was served to us in just a few minutes. All in all we had a very pleasurable meal and could only really complain about the speed of things but due to lack of staff that couldn't be helped.
Totally disappointed with the visit - food and service all poor - I was actually embarrassed to have brought people to the restaurant. I have previously used the Quicken Tree many time for lunch and dinner - this will be my very last visit. We were provided with 3 menus for 12 of us - in the end we went and found our own. Pretty much the same with drinks too we were not offered any table service at all. I have an allergy to onions and asked for the salad to be onion free - I was instantly ill there was some cross contamination clearly whether on the knife or chopping board. Quite a few of the party were not well the following day and during the night. Including my husband who was sick. When we spoke to the staff to discuss the food - it was clearly a waste of time they were not interested - there were other diners in the restaurant who were also having issues with the food one member of staff was heard to say " im going home in a minute" clearly had enough of a very bad night. Totally and utterly disappointed with an evening that was to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday and embarrassed that I brought family here on my recommendation !
Lovely place and nice food. Slight issue with my steak but it was sorted straight away.
The food we had was good but we ordered roast pork and all the trimmings and realised after we had finished and saw the other meals had come out that ours had no stuffing or crackling! Had to ask for sauces, was not offered any, also was not asked if our meal was ok. Sent glasses back twice as they were dirty and sent my spoon back which had food on it. When we said that we had no stuffing or crackling the waitress apologised but still bought a full bill out, so we asked for complementary coffee which she checked would be ok! I was really disappointed, I have eaten here before and have always been pleased, I recommended it to my friend and he drove from Evesham to meet me. We had 2 courses and a bottle of wine. What has happened to the service, it wasn't even particularly busy. I felt slightly embarrassed that i had recommended it. The staff were pleasant enough but in no way attentive and it was difficult to grab their attention. Not a great experience.
brilliant ambience, polite & friendly staff with excellent food. Rhys x
Magnificent Sunday dinner, you won’t find better anywhere in the area that’s for certain.
Excellent food and nice wine. Service was good despite it being a busy Sunday lunchtime. We will be back.
Fantastic afternoon tea - lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and yummy food
