Severly slow service. Average food . Sat with dirty plate for over an hour and half. Only 2 staff serving. Wont be returning
We booked a table online. When we first arrived we had to wait to long to be greeted and where told be with you in a minute but the gentleman didn’t come he was obviously rushed off his feet. The same when we seated we had to wait to get menu’s. There was no drinks menu unfortunately. The service did get better after we ordered and didn’t have to wait too long for our food which was delicious.
Always great food and service, and be if our favourite places to eat
We went for our wedding menu tasting and the food and service was lovely. Can't wait for the wedding now. Thank you
We visited last Sunday and were disappointed. Firstly we had to ask the for a menu as we were sat waiting a while (not a good start). Then when our main meals came I noticed my vegetarian lasagne had a piece of meat on the side of my plate. At no point during our food did the waitress come and ask if everything was ok. That should always happen when you go out to eat. We sat waiting ages with our main meals sat waiting for them to be cleared away. The waitress took our plates and no dessert menu was offered. I mentioned about the meat on the plate and she said she would let the chef know. We had planned on having desserts and sitting outside whilst our children played and having another drink or coffee. After waiting for too long I approached the till and told the staff member the customer services wasn’t good and the above. No dessert or complimentary coffee or drink was offered. I paid the bill and no receipt was issued the staff member just walked away, no apology. The waitress that served our table asked if my meal had been taken off the bill. I said it hadn’t. I then mentioned the above to the waitress. She apologised and seemed embarrassed. She gave me my receipt and we left. We will not be revisiting again.
Food was delicious and the outlook beautiful on a sunny day but unfortunately let down by a friendly but inattentive waitress
Thank you for accommodating our large party of 17 people on Sunday. The room we were given was perfect as we had little ones with us who could move around freely and not disturb other people. Food and service were both fantastic, one food order wrong in a large party, this was sorted straight away with no issues. Outside area for the children and room to run was such an added bonus. First time for most of our party visiting the Quicken tree & all said they would return again. Many thanks
Very pleasant evening enjoyed by both me and my son
Afternoon tea was good, we had a Groupon, for 4 people. Service was good, place empty tho. Its the 2nd time ive been for afternoon tea here. Will visit again soon :)
The location is excellent, we use the venue for many things, Christmas New Year dining out family occations etc etc, it has so much to do and see and our grand children can roam and play until their hearts content within the events grounds, the owner, Steve, really does look after his clientelle.
Very slow ordered drinks waited 20 mins still no drinks so went up bar myself food n desserts was well delayed aswell waited over 30 mins for just the puddings after dinner which I ordered same time as my starters I was on my own with 3 children aged from 20 months upto 10 yrs old
Staff were arguing the whole time , service was slow , ran out of beer draught and bottle , staff disinterested was told they were busy and would have to wait . Tiny portion of vegetables only enough for two not four . Very tense atmosphere.
Lovely food lovely atmosphere lovely evening had by all
Great food, you need to advertise more to the get the punters in. Offer some deals and you will get the initial customer in who will come back if it’s good. Get the fun bus outside for the kids too.
Very good Sunday lunch. Also provides a vegetarian option. We will be back.
Attended for afternoon tea with my mum. It was our first time visiting and we were extremely satisfied by the service, food and overall atmosphere. The place is beautiful, although we live local it felt like we were so far away. We were that impressed we are going to come back with our families to stay over. I really enjoyed our visit and will be visiting again on a regular basis.
Great food excellent service
Food and service great. music too loud and dreadful. Did ask when we arrived for it to be turned down but could not tell the difference.
Lovely food, great for the kids to have fun and play.
Food was ok, service was really slow and atmosphere was kinda strange. Couldn’t quite make this place out.
I’ve always had good service and food on my visits and hopefully that will continue.
Service was not up to it's usual standard. We waited 30 mins for drinks order to arrive and our meal order to be taken. After another 45 mins our first course arrived. Waitress said that the order hadn't been sent through to the chef.
We arrived at the restaurant early and waited at the wait to be seated sign for approximately 15 minutes where we were ignored by several members of staff who walked past and round us. It did not appear to be too busy either otherwise i may have been able to understand. You couldnt have missed us with a double pushchair and baby whinging that needed to be fed. So appalled by the service we left and went elsewhere.
Though we arrived on time and restaurant was quiet, it took 30 mins for a round of drinks to arrive and nearly an hour for food. We were then politely asked to vacate our table after 90 mins and have our dessert in the bar. We chose this restaurant for the sole reason they had Children’s entertainment in the form of a bouncy castle and a fun bus. Neither of these were available as they said they were too busy to set it up. Just a very disappointing lunch with excited children who left bored. Never again. Not even an apology.
