The Quartier Bistro & Bar located on the mezzanine level of Quay West Suites Sydney offers a chic yet relaxing French dining experience. Our emphasis is on quality ingredients and carefully crafted menu ideal for breafast, lunch and dinner.
The meal was very unimpressive. Our meal price was $44 and on the plate was steak and MacDonald fries. No imagination at all for the price. The cook should be embarrassed. The restaurant room was dowdy and uninspired. Obvious dust around including on the lights. No French vibe at all. We left feeling embarrassed for your hotel chain. We will not return.
We enjoyed dining at Quartier Bistro during our weekend stay. We had breakfast both mornings and dinner on the Friday night. The service was exceptional. We were a large family group and Vino and his team ensured we had everything we needed and more. The quality of the food was good and there was a good variety to choose from. Vino was friendly and provided a personal touch to our dining experience.
Terrific restaurant with consistently good food that is value for money combined with great service.

We checked the menu before booking, as we were both looking forward to having scallops unfortunately the menu was different from what was advertised. Although there were only 9 other diners it was very noisy with people raising their voices to be heard. Overall the food was rather ordinary and disappointing for a large hotel.

No quartier measures about this excellent restaurant. Very stylish, yet welcoming ambience in this hidden gem. Flawless service, coupled with perfect lamb cutlets and kingfish. Reasonably-priced wine and Red Ruby cocktails were a bonus. It was a steal to First Table here, and judging by the Later Tables (all full), I'd get in quick before it'll be hard to get any table at all
The maître d was an excellent host making a special effort to recognise my wife’s birthday. Very friendly and attentive. His menu recommendations were on point. Food quality was excellent. Menu was restricted due to Covid 19, but selection was still a good variety of options.
Two staff on the floor tonight (lady and gentlemen) were simply outstanding. They were friendly, engaging and helpful when speaking with us; then discrete the rest of the time, so we could have a great dinner together and just relax. Food was excellent, complimentary mocktails (as Accor members) made us feel really special, and the restaurant space is lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Quartier to family, friends and colleagues. A wonderful evening, thanks.

Cozy, professional and delicious. The French martini was very robust and flavoursome, I really enjoyed the trio of butters with the baguette (I just wish there was more baguette). I wouldn't order the zucchini flowers again, but I would come back for the chef's best scallops and the chef's best tenderloin steak (pairs perfectly with Dijon mustard). The mushroom ravioli was a little heavy but ok.
