About The Prince at West Brompton Crossing
ONE STREET, FOUR RESTAURANTS, THREE BARS AND A SUMMER ENGLISH GARDEN
NEVER before has an entire street been transformed into an epicurean avenue dedicated to some of London’s most exciting food, drink and social experiences, until NOW… There’s no better place to while away a warm spring/summers day or night ~ come eat, drink and party with us in London’s largest pub garden!
WELCOME TO THE PRINCE…
It was my birthday party and unfortunately it didn't turn out to well. I had a reservation for 30 people and ended up with 2 tables that could comfortably fit 10 each as we were all eating, the reservation was for 6pm and we got our 2nd table about 6.45pm as the previous group didn't want to move on. The Prince was so over crowded that anyone who hadn't pre-booked was looking for any opportunity to get a seat and we were continuously having to fight people off our table and a couple of times this ended in arguments as there was literally nowhere for them to even stand. None of the bars take cash at all and that includes food which we all found odd, also the drinks choice is very limited as well as 1 JD and coke, 1 coke and 1 lemonade costs around £20 so be prepared to spend money here. The prince looks great from what you can see over the crowds but far to over crowded to properly enjoy, it's a shame.
It was amazing to celebrate my birthday at The Prince. I would only suggest to make it clearer that the garden area closes at 11pm and not 11:30pm. We had to leave earlier than expected : (
We had one of the tables in the garden area booked. Upon arrival people were sat there but staff were helpful in asking them to move so we could sit down. Busy but with a good buzzing vibe. Drinks are priced pretty standard for London, and the food is great with lots of options. Would recommend for a daytime to evening celebration with a big group, however it does get busy in the evening. We had people arrive late who were unable to get in despite us being on a reservation.
Reserved a table in the bar but requested to be in the garden which they did no problems, v good evening!
I had a great celebration with my friends and family here
Love the prince but the table has very tight space with each other.
I was quite disappointed with the booking, I had booked a table of 20 in hope of being in the outdoor's area. It was not clear at all on the website when booking the area and when I had spoken to a staff member we were told that at any given opportunity we would get given a table outside- which in the end we were not. I had come from up north to be disappointed-we paid good money all night and was really looking forward to the atmosphere. A real let down as I would never have booked it for 20 people knowing I wasn't getting an outdoor's area. It was a huge shame and unfortunately I will not be returning.
Didn’t actually go ahead with booking as your policy of queuing if more than 30 mins after booking time put us off as some people wouldn’t be arriving till later
The food was amazing and had a great time. The only downfall was that if your in the garden, you have to go all the way upstairs to get a pint! Could really do with having a tap downstairs!
Tha j you so much for looking after our group so brilliantly - and thanks for not laughing at us when we requested a quiet table! Much appreciated - we ❤️ The Prince xx
Nice place and decor. Bit chilly with all the fire exit doors open!
Love the food, drink and atmosphere
The staff couldn’t do enough for us, they were brilliant! Waiting times for the bar and food were short. No complaints!
Love this place
We booked but were sat at tall table with stools under a leak. Not a great table for a reservation and to hear people at the table. There was also a leak just over our table. Ask for a normal table if you want to fully enjoy your night.. The food and drinks are good as always. The bar people were nice too, however a bit of a wait.
Really enjoyed our evening at The Prince. I booked an area for 20 people and the space we were allocated was a little small but we still had a great time.
Great vibe, Really good value for money!
Always a great night
Great service and love the atmosphere!
Sad that the restaurant I was most interested in was closed !
Very disappointed. I had been here before with friends and took my family when they came to visit. The staff were rude and the security were very leering. The downstairs bar wasn’t open, despite everyone being downstairs meaning we had to walk up and down the stairs multiple times. One of the restaurants wasn’t open, to which we weren’t told about until we were about to order - with certain dietary requirements this meant some members of our party didn’t get to eat. The free cocktails was out of order and no alternative was provided.
Lovely venue, food and atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend
