About The Plough Huddlesford
The Plough Inn is a country pub and restaurant with traditional values, situated in the delightful village of Huddlesford between Lichfield and Whittington alongside the Coventry canal.
If you and your family love Pizza you will also love the Plough. The first installation by new owners Mark Hynett and Andy Twigg was a stone baked pizza oven and the second was a wine cellar to suit every palate with some very quaffable choices for you to enjoy. Mark Hynett, British trained and a true Brummie has taken influences from around the world and brought them home to Staffordshire. Passionate about his food and football, he is looking forward to welcoming you to the Plough Inn.
Dogs and muddy boots welcome in our bar.
Staff are friendly and welcoming. Lovely ambience and the food is fabulous - lots of choice.
Food always lush! Staff brill! Love how chilled it is.
Very enjoyable meal at The Plough. Sorry to hear that HS2 is causing the closure of the pub.
My wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal on New Year's Eve, good service from the waitress, looking forward to trying the 2-for-1 pizzas on a suitable Tuesday evening.
A great meal in a family friendly relaxing pub. Great menu choices and fab service even on a super busy day.
Good choice on menu, and good size portions. A little on expensive side however.
Lovely service, amazing food
Excellent Christmas Day meal. Staff as excellent as ever and the food was spot on
Please ensure that red wine us served at room temperature. Merlot should not be brought from thy e cellar 10 minutes before serving Your staff and quality of food is fabulous
Thank you for a great experience
Worth travelling to
Lovely food, but really cold in the restaurant, had to sit with two coats on
We had a great lunch, we stayed much longer than we planned. I’ve already recommended it as a great place to another group of friends.
Great place for quality informal lunch with friends
Service was quick despite being very busy with a few large tables booked in
First visit for my daughters birthday brunch and we all really enjoyed it. Not rushed to leave after eating, very relaxed atmosphere. Catered for a vegan member of our party who was very impressed!
3 of us came for a tradional Sunday roast dinner and we have never been disappointed by the food or service here. The food was lovely, we loved the choice of vegetables particularly the red cabbage, and the servings were all very generous. The lady who served us was spot on with service. Our only fault was that there was no cranberry or red currant sauce. We will be coming back again to enjoy another delicious dinner, thank you.
Great food, brilliant staff and nice atmosphere. Booing easy and little touches like putting one gluten free menu on our table was appreciated
First visit to the pub. Just fancied a Sunday lunch so booked table online - pretty simple even for me. Very impressed - warm traditional pub with nice atmosphere. Greeted quickly and shown to our table. Enjoyed Timothy Taylor and Blackberry Porter whilst waiting. Food was perfect (possibly too much especially the huge pork loin!) No room left for desserts! Shame, but we'll be back.
Great tasting food, served in large portions, in a lovely country pub with great service and excellent choice of food & drink. Will be back!
All the food was delicious. A slightly limited choice for vegetarians who don't eat fish. Atmosphere relaxed. An enjoyable visit
The service was excellent as was the food in a very welcoming atmosphere
Very nice atmosphere - food very good.Staff very helpful and attentive.
Chilled vibe for a Saturday evening meal with family will definitely be coming on a Tuesday for 2-4-1 pizza
Very lovely food and atmosphere. Waitress was helpful when recommending items.
