About The Plough Huddlesford
The Plough Inn is a country pub and restaurant with traditional values, situated in the delightful village of Huddlesford between Lichfield and Whittington alongside the Coventry canal.
If you and your family love Pizza you will also love the Plough. The first installation by new owners Mark Hynett and Andy Twigg was a stone baked pizza oven and the second was a wine cellar to suit every palate with some very quaffable choices for you to enjoy. Mark Hynett, British trained and a true Brummie has taken influences from around the world and brought them home to Staffordshire. Passionate about his food and football, he is looking forward to welcoming you to the Plough Inn.
Dogs and muddy boots welcome in our bar.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch, the atmosphere was relaxed and the service was good
Lovely, relaxed visit - staff friendly and attentive. Had requested a gluten free diet and also a gluten, soya and lactose free option - staff went the extra mile to point out what we could and couldn't have from the menus and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely setting too, summer in the garden would be beautiful. Will definitely be back.
We arrived at 1,15 for a table booked at 1.30 and was given a table immediately. This process seemed rushed, as if they wanted to deal with us as soon as possible. But apart from this it was a good experience for all concerned. The delivery of the starters was slow
Delicious lunch - lovely atmosphere - many thanks
We often dine here and find the food fantastic and the staff really welcoming
Fab food and service and dogs allowed which is great!
Sunday lunch, fab food promptly served and hot. Great veg. Service good, Atmosphere great apart from a large table behind us with about 5 small children, all screeching!! I know, I know. We have all had small children, but I could have done without them behind us. We'll be back anyway
Great food, friendly welcoming staff, in a lovely location we enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here. We'll be back.
Very busy at Sunday lunch.Enjoyed our meal very much and my husband loved his veggie meal too.
Very good service and food
Cask ales were disappointing, went flat and lifeless within 10 minutes, needs more care!
The Plough were very accommodating and have great facilities for young children.
Great place, good food and helpful friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit
A lovely country pub. I visited with my husband and 2 children. Food was delicious, we will definitely return.
Always look forward to the fish specials
Great breakfast enjoyed by everyone. Good service, nice laidback start to a Sunday! Thank you!
Fantastic quality Sunday Lunch. Seating for 12 people and nothing was too much bother. Recommend 100%
Beer expensive. Some strange food mixtures on menu
Food and service excellent . Seating and tables need updating. This would make this a top restaurant.
Lovely country pub, we arrived at a busy time, we were well looked after, service very good, food a little pricy but very good
