About The Plough
The Plough Witney is a family run pub that boasts a lovely riverside garden, friendly staff and a fine selection of food, beer and wine.
A delicious meal but not much of a choice for vegetarians. Luckily I eat fish and the fish and chips was delicious.
Fantastic evening celebrating our 10th anniversary!! We hired your large room which was perfect, no need to do anything the atmosphere was ideal. Sam was kind enough to put together a playlist at last minute for us. All the staff were lovely and everyone commented on how nice the pub was. Thank you for a great evening!!!
Just one suggestion really - staff really need to have tried food on the menu so they can answer questions about it. Other than that perfect! Just disappointed we didn’t have room for desserts:( Thank you
Lovely food and service.
Faultless. Thank you for a lovely evening & the gins were fabulous.
Lovely staff, great food! Highly recommend the 2-4-1 gin deal on a Thursday.
A great family Sunday lunch, good beer, good wine, good food and very friendly. Thoroughly recommended.
Excellent Sunday lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. Realistic menu. Food well presented. Service friendly but not obtrusive. Will definitely be back!
Very enjoyable family meal. We were a large group (13). Lovely atmosphere, good food, good beer.
Would highly recommend, great place to of spent our Christmas eve
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to eat here in the end because my table booking had fallen through. I have enjoyed many drinks in the Plough and was looking forward to having some food there for the first time. I was told that a group must have moved the reserved sign from the table and no alternative was offered, with one member of staff asking if I’d like to see the manager so they can decide ‘what to do with us’. We ended up going to the Blue Boar instead and had a lovely meal there. Very disappointed in the Plough, though.
Always someone there to welcome you. Dining at the Plough is like eating a great meal at home with friends.
