Excellent customer service and ambiance for a night out. Also the seafood is heavenly and should definitely be tried if you’re considering having a meal along with some of the cocktails they can offer.
Great place, wonderful staff
Good food good service
Friendly, helpful staff - lovely atmosphere - thank you!
Waited 40 mins for our drinks to come wasn’t even busy as staff were chatting. Had beef burger which practically fell apart. Was excited to come to the pound as heard had the best cocktails. Wasn’t worth the money a big shame
Will definitely be back x
The service was really good. The food was a little poor (in light of the price). I have a chicken burger that came as more like chicken nuggets in a bun and the chips were burnt. Apart from that it was pretty good. I'll be trying something else on the menu from now on. A bit pricey for two people (£100 in total).
I’m sorry to give such low ratings - but we sat down at 7pm, received our meals at 7.40 and our drinks at 7.50. One of the sides arrived 10 mins after our main meal was served. We were given 90p off as way of an apology (Which I didn’t ask for) and still charged over £7 service charge - when sadly the service was hugely lacking. The setting is amazing and the atmosphere was good but I would not return anytime soon or sadly recommend on the basis of our experience
Amazing food! Wonderful bar/restaurant!
As usual we had a great meal best Sunday roast on canterbury and the staff always go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need
Loved the building, would have really liked to see the old cells and know more of its history
Had the most delicious Sunday Roast here with my partner for a weekend away in Canterbury. Staff were friendly and warm. Really well set up in relation to COVID.
Really good vibe and service. Would definitely go back ourselves and also recommend.
Took a while for us to get into the restaurant despite having a booking reservation
Had a nice evening considering the strange times we are in. Happy with the service, food and drink. The only thing I will say i wasn’t aware until the bill was given that we couldn’t pay cash, I understand the current situation but it was very lucky my friends had their bank card to help me out.
Food plentiful and impressed with the quality. Service was very friendly, attentive without being too much.
Staff where lovely and so helpful and the food was amazing can't wait to come back.
Not a great selection of foods, a bit pricey on drinks. But otherwise good
Great roast and the (blonde) lady who served us was fantastic. However, the service charge every time you order drinks is a little ridiculous. We were not allowed to order drinks at the bar and I feel it’s a little bit of a con to charge people every time they order a drink (it’s a percentage of the bill instead of a set charge which seems unfair and you don’t get pre warned before you pay on your phone) Other than that it was great! Food was amazing.
Food wasn't great. We added extra pulled pork on our burger and it was cold (like leftover)! Just a shame for this lovely environment to offer this quality of food. We ordered food almost half and hour after we sat on the table!
Great food and service
Lovely location, with good sized portions. Good selection of drinks.
Classic pub dining within a venue packed with atmosphere. Set in the original police station and cells but filled with a modern vibe with plenty of signs to what was there before fine dining.
Incredible meal here, very well done in terms of COVID safety. Amazing place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be going back!
Staff very friendly
