Delicious food, delightful service and a delicate ambiance. A really lovely dining experience
.
Very nice first visit. Good menu. Subtle flavours . Will visit again.
Great food and service as always. Wine recommendation was excellent.
Fresh food, well presented and served by friendly, efficient staff, What more could you want?
Top class food and service - very enjoyable meal!
The salt & pepper squid was to die for, as was the Malaysian Curry for main. Wine (Chenin Blanc) matched well and the service was friendly & effective. Only suggestion would be for raspberry crime brule to maybe have the raspberry within/under it rather than just piped on top.
One of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. Amazing food, drink and atmosphere.
Lovely location..reasonable prices ..come down from Leeds..would visit again next time we are in Manchester
Very enjoyable food was delicious
Excellent food and service. One of my top favourite restaurants👍
Excellent restaurant, cannot rate it highly enough.
Lovely food, friendly service and a wonderful atmosphere.
Fantastic food. Everything tasted so fresh and it was great value. Felt like a special meal but not at ‘special’ prices. A real find!
Excellent meal
Brilliant as always!
Food was excellent and the service was great we will definitely be coming back.
I had the red bream with spiced potatoes and smoked aubergine. The smokey taste of the aubergine dominated the dish unfortunately, and the potatoes tasted more burnt than spicy, perhaps because of the smokey flavour of the aubergine. But the bream was perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, my partner was not happy with his fish pie. The dish was quite small. Also, there was a shrimp sticking out of the top, but on closer inspection it was just the shell... We thought the shrimp meat might be inside the pie, but there was none. It was also quite expensive (the pie in particular).
Food fabulous (as always), staff so friendly and helpful (as always), lovely evening had by all (as always). Look forward to next time!
Very nice and enjoyable experience. Food was excellent, good choices and very well prepared. The waitress was very helpful and warm. Overall a memorable experience. Only downside was the restaurant was quite cold but the waitress arranged for a heater to keep us cosy!
Outstanding fish and seafood cookery, delicious wine and excellent puds. Service was lovely. We ordered snacks, an extra starter for the table (salt and pepper squid, described by one of our party as ‘the best squid ever’) and would probably have liked to order the whole menu. So much more than a great neighbourhood restaurant, just a great restaurant. Packed out on a Tuesday night for a very good reason. Go, if you can get a table.
Really great food and ambience
Lovely meal, everyone enjoyed themselves on my mum's 91st birthday. She was very very happy!
Easy to get a table but the place filled up fast so glad we booked. Food was well presented and a good choice of dishes though we did not try a dessert. Too full after starter and main course. The snack I had as a starter (padron peppers) excellent and reminded me of a recent holiday in Spain.
