I’ve explained to the waiter I haven’t complained about a place before but the vodka lemonades were basically water, my friend could only taste mustard in her burger, my poutine had no gravy. The salt and pepper chips just tasted like Chinese five spice all over them. I got rained on the whole time going all over my food. Will not come again
Fantastic service from the team at Solita - thanks!
Great atmosphere, servers were lovely, burgers a quite small but taste amazing
Great Venue, Great food & Drinks and even better service! First time trying - will definitely return!
Outstanding good food, service and atmosphere. Loved it!
We originally only went in because it was raining but ended up going every day the food was amazing
Lovely food. Great service.
Dreadful Meal . Prawn sandwich in sour dough. 3 medium prawns.in sandwich , not like any sourdough I’ve ever seen , looked like toastie bread. No RED wine on menu as they had ran out but had some Rioja and a bottle that said red wine but waitress couldn’t say what it was. Smoking alllowwd in the out side seating area. Staff and manager polite but not very effective. Refused to pay for sandwich which was £14. Explanation was that it was the policy of the company to put 3 prawns in.
Lovely bar with lovely staff and really good drinks!
Went for a bottomless brunch bank holiday Monday, weather was shocking but service was amazing. Gave us blankets put us under a heater and shut the roof to keep the rain out, nothing was too much trouble to keep us nice and cozy. Drinks and food came in great time and every time our glasses were empty we were offered another even when only a few minutes left of our 90 minutes.
Delicious, lovely staff
I booked two weeks in advance. When we arrived it was pouring down. But I'd seen online that the outside area was covered so I wasn't bothered. However we were lead to a table with a TINY umbrella. The place was quite full but had a large table under the metal cover free. Why on Earth would you show a table of 4 who had booked to a table in the rain and ignore the perfectly decent table under cover. We noticed another undercover table paying their bill. We were getting soaked. We were given blankets but we weren't cold, we were wet through. We asked two different waitresses if we could move to a table under cover. Both said they'd ask their manager. Neither returned. We were about to leave when we decided just to go the dry table. We were told off by the second waitress. She said we could stay there but they would need the table back by 730pm. (Our booking had been at 6pm). We were fine with it. No idea why they were going to leave us in the pouring rain with a dry table free for 1.5 hours. The food was decent but not like the photos. I ordered a glass of pinot grigio, I was given rosè pinot(which wasn't even sold by the glass on the menu). I didn't bother complaining about that though as it was clear they wouldn't handle it properly from our earlier treatment. Plus I needed a drink! Wouldn't return as the staff didn't seem to have any common sense.
The food, drinks, service and atmosphere are pretty great, but I think that just 1 hour for each reservation is too short. We had to drink and eat really fast, because the staff went to remind that the time was finishing....
We had a really enjoyable meal - plenty of choice.
Felt forgotten about, took to 20 minutes to be seated despite having booked and it being quiet. Had to ask multiple times for cutlery and sauces. Just kept being forgotten ): Food is amazing though.
Food was really good, very good value, and fantastic cocktails
Great food, quick service
Service was very slow and not attentive considering the small amount of tables as only outdoor eating. Would put me off returning when the indoors was an option too. Had to ask to order drinks, nobody came over to take our order, again we had to ask after quite a long period of time and the food took a crazy long time to arrive.
Absolutely appalling we were served a few drinks around 2/3 before having our meal. Immediately after the meal we were made aware that we weren’t being served no more due to being drunk and disorderly which is outrageous and we were then asked to leave. Very convenient that this happened right after we finished eating and there was a huge que at the door. We had a 2 hour booking slot which we should of been allowed to use but the restaurant clearly wanted more money from another booking they could get in after us. Would never return, disgraceful service and clearly very money hungry.
Nothing wrong with majority of the food, however, the halloumi fries in bread crumbs were not enjoyable. We however, recommend the salt and pepper fries, these were really fresh and tasty. Drinks (mainly concerning pornstar and passionfruit margarita's) were extremely sour, not sure if they were suppose to be? However, 2 for £12 is reasonable if they are enjoyable. Hazelnut espresso was amazing! Marked down for service as at the end of our booking, a lady with dark hair approached us very bluntly saying "are you going to pay now on one card as the next table are here" and did not give us any warning or thank us for coming. However, the waitress with blonde hair was extremely lovely and was working hard to assist ALL of the tables. Would probably benefit from another member of staff.
Came for a bottomless brunch after finding some vouchers online, but even if we didn’t have the vouchers, it would have been such great value for money. Staff were so attentive and the food was absolutely amazing. Great selection of drinks on Draught and cocktails, and the cocktails were really nicely done too. Have recommended to others, will be going again, cheers
From the start the service was poor, the food was way below par (the prawn sandwich my mum had - costing £14 was 2 pieces of processed white bread and it has 3 prawns in and one bit of bacon!) The amount of “slaw” you get as a side with the burgers is almost a joke. And the cocktails were tiny and almost undrinkeable. The bar maid said “I don’t know I don’t drink them” when we asked if they were made right!
The staff- especially the manager- went above and beyond to help make my son's 21st birthday meal special. He loved the peanut butter burger! The food was great and so were the cocktails.
