About The Old Bridge Inn
The Old Bridge Inn, on the banks of the Spey, and on the road to the ski slopes, offers a roaring log fire and great atmosphere, along with excellent food and a fine selection of cask ales, premium lagers and malt whiskies. It has always been a favourite haunt for those who enjoy the outdoors, while friendly staff and locals always make you welcome (and that includes your dog)!
A gem in the highlands!
nice food - lovely setting :)
Excellent atmosphere and all very welcoming of our golden retriever. He, like us, was most impressed.
So nice to be made so welcome with our dog and lovely touch when booking asking if will have a dog so booking can be made for bar area. Will definitely be back
Love the Old Bridge Inn. Great quality and well cooked food in a very laid back atmosphere- although they are on it with the service! Very welcoming to kids as well which is much appreciated
A thoroughly enjoyable dinner. Super service. Nice wine. Great steaks! Thank you, Claire
Really great atmosphere, food and service as always. Not cheap but we visit Aviemore twice a year and come here everytime. Never disappointed..
The food and atmosphere were fantastic. We loved being able to bring the dog too. We'll be back.
On arrival your staff did not notice our booking resulting in a trip back to car to get phone to prove I had registered -
Food good, although a bit pricey. A bit noisy. A personal view, I would rather not see dogs in a restaurant. Service first rate. Will add to Muckrack Lodge and Anderson’s as places to eat in the Aviemore area.
Amazing atmosphere, great bar, menu limited, food ok but not in line with reviews on trip advisor in my opinion and staff a bit casual.
Another fine visit to the Old Bridge Inn. The food was great as ever. I think the drinks are a tad pricy, but at least there is a good selection of ales to choose from.
This is a really lovely pub with a friendly atmosphere; welcoming and unpretentious. The food was delicious. We were with children, or we would have tried quite a lot more from the impressive selection at the bar. Very enjoyable.
I have been visiting this area for 25 years and it has good local character, good food and a warm welcome as usual. Long may your lum reek..
I really recommend!
Returned for a meal with my wife after visiting the inn during my stag weekend in May 2018. Great prompt service, would recommend to anyone!
Absolutely gorgeous food! Best meal we've both had for ages
Excellent dining experience throughout. The OBI is a cosy pub/restaurant with tasty food and really friendly, efficient service. Whilst the place was quiet during our visit (pre-Xmas rush), the food was as good as ever- particularly recommend the arancini starter and Cod-main.
Wow! I had the cod and it was the best meal I have had. The staff were very friendly and so welcoming. I liked the relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Only thing lacking for me was a lovely real Christmas tree in the dining room.
Dinners could have been served hotter as Main dishes were lukewarm when served up to us. Black Crowdie Arancini should’ve had more Tomato and Chilli sauce. Peppercorn Sauce for the steak should’ve been more peppery and creamy. Cabbage and Bacon should’ve been cooked less as it was a bit too stringy and soggy. Duck should’ve been cooked slightly longer as it was quite rare. Staff were attentive. Mussels were delicious! Sweet Potato mash was creamy and tasty. Tasty cut of Sirloin Steak. Creme Catalana was mouthwatering and the mulled wine sorbet, although not really to my tastebuds, was flawless.
Superb, simply define xxx
Pity no pink gin but can't please everyone Ales was good Food was just as good Hope to come back again
Fantastic food and fantastic service. Will visit again.
