About The Old Bridge Inn
The Old Bridge Inn, on the banks of the Spey, and on the road to the ski slopes, offers a roaring log fire and great atmosphere, along with excellent food and a fine selection of cask ales, premium lagers and malt whiskies. It has always been a favourite haunt for those who enjoy the outdoors, while friendly staff and locals always make you welcome (and that includes your dog)!
The pub itself is lovely with great decor, lovely staff and a good atmosphere (with especially good music playing on this particular day) however the food was lacking in flavour and presentation. We ordered the mushroom risotto and it was just a plate of brown slop with no garnish or added veggies, and it required a lot of salt to make it edible. We would still return again in the hope that this would be better next time.
We've been coming here for years and everything is always impeccable. It's one of the few places where I can convince my picky eater of a partner to try new foods, confident that he'll always like them if they've been prepared by the team at The Bridge. Thanks for another brilliant evening.
Great food and atmosphere!
Great real ale and food. Service was excellent
Really friendly pub, serving top notch local produce in a relaxed environment
This was my third visit and you never fail to impress me, and whoever I'm dining with. You will always be my preferred 'go to' eatery when I'm in town. Keep up the good work
Really good nicely situated gastro pub. Appreciated the small touches like juniper berries in the GnT. Food was very well presented.
Windows quite drafty in eating area. Otherwise great thanks.
A family holiday and all 12 of us had a lovely dinner here in a cold snowy night. Delicious food, family friendly, very cozy and warm atmosphere.
Food pretty good, as is the location.. staff rushed and unattractive
After booking this special night for my 60th birthday meal some months ago, we dined in the bar area because we had our dog with us on holiday, not a problem with that but I felt neglected as we had to go to the bar to keep asking for our food and drinks. I am sure if had been eating in the main resteraunt the service would have been better. Food was ok plates were hot but the food was luke warm. Also noticed no female staff?? Please look after public bar customers as much as the conservatory ones, we paid the same prices for the food as they did.!!
Very nice to have t & C etc all ready for our meeting last week and cosy fire to warm up by, many thanks
Second we were here. Again very good diner.
Great food and atmosphere
WELL DONE AGAIN! - Lamb - to die for - super- Duck (very slightly) overcooked puddings brill - cheese - lanarkshire blue lovely - take or leave the hard goats cheese - great atmousphere, polite and efficient service even on a very busy Friday and even loved piped music (I was sure I heard my hero Robert Plant on one track - anyway - right up my street )
We enjoyed our meal at the Old Bridge Inn and were impressed that they had a designated vegan menu. Great service and friendly staff. We ended most our evenings there during our stay in Aviemore, sampling the variety of ales and whiskies that they stocked. Our favourite place!
Fabulous food and drink, great atmosphere, and an altogether enjoyable and memorable evening.
Always our first choibchoice for a meal out in aviemore
Service started ok, but took 45 minutes, dessert plates were never clear, took 45 to get attention by which wed run out of time and had to leave, tables either side of us got served quicker, serving staff continually seemed to ignore and forget us, a shame as food was good
We visited for my dads 70th birthday dinner with 15 guests. Everyone's food was excellent. Service great and the restaurant itself lovely. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Thanks for having us.
We had a lovely evening at The Okd Bridge Inn. Food was amazing and very delicious. Kids menu excellent value for money and was thoroughly enjoyed. Staff attentive and friendly. All in all a fantastic dining experience. Many thanks.
Lovely welcome and friendly staff. Steak and ale pie was excellent. Very good value for money all round.
We loved our visit to you last week. The decor was lovely and cosy and the food was as delicious as it looked!
Food was good but very big portions. Some of additions to plates a little random. Service a bit rushed prob due to event on that evening. Had to queue at bar for 10 mins just to pay the bill ! Nice venue though with oil lamps on table etc.
Excellent dinner, great drinks, fantastic staff - this is THE place to go.
