About The Old Bridge Inn
The Old Bridge Inn, on the banks of the Spey, and on the road to the ski slopes, offers a roaring log fire and great atmosphere, along with excellent food and a fine selection of cask ales, premium lagers and malt whiskies. It has always been a favourite haunt for those who enjoy the outdoors, while friendly staff and locals always make you welcome (and that includes your dog)!
Great Vegan options
We went here for dinner on a Friday night. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was delicious, and the service was spectacular. We were greeted by kind staff and taken to our table (we made reservations). We received quick service and really enjoyed our food. We will be going back here next time we are in Aviemore.
Beautiful food, always slightly different from the norm. Friendly, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. One of my favourite places.
The service and the food were poorer than the previous night. The sirloin steak was a bit tough and lacking in flavour. The Malbec was out of stock. The replacement red wine was disappointing and needed a decanter to allow it to breathe.
Excellent lunch in lovely surroundings. Faultless.
Fantastic meal out, food was delicious. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a lovely waiter and the atmosphere was perfect
Best food in the highlands - a very welcome surprise! Only thing I would say is the puddings are over priced! Loved the variety to suit all dietary requirements
Great food, great atmosphere!
Dinner was delicious. I’d suggest 50% more cacao and 50% less sugar in the vegan chocolate brownie. It mostly tasted sugary and the deeper chocolate flavour would work way better with the sorbet! Thanks for a great experience though, especially through this strange time. You’ve done really well keeping it real 😃
Good service Friendly staff and very helpful A few items in menu nit available like sweet potato, quite a basic commodity But did not dampen our experience Lovely food and will be back
Wry friendly and atmospheric. Great food and service .
Great service , lovely food and atmosphere
Wee gem of a place. Great food and excellent service. Felt totally safe in these uncertain times.
Booked here on a recommendation from a friend. We booked to celebrate my parents golden wedding anniversary. We went with our 9 & 6 years old sons. The food was outstanding! We were still talking about it the next night and our boys said it was the best meal they had had . Can’t wait to be back again.
Really enjoyed our meal, we will return
As always great food, in convivial surroundings with great service
Fantastic food, including excellent choice of vegetarian options, great atmosphere, excellent bar and lounge with local ales, and very professional and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
This is the first time I have eaten at The Old Bridge Inn. The food was fantastic with a nice selection on the menu, I particularly liked the cod and mussels, the sauce was exceptional, and the cheesecake and accompanying ice cream and spun sugar basket were lovely. The service excellent and the open fire was delightful on the snowy evening we visited. Thank you
It was a lovely atmosphere with background music.
Great food and friendly staff. Couldn’t fault the place!
An evening out with a friend....... The staff were attentive, withouth being bothersome. COVID rules (Scotland Tier 1) all being adhered to, with a fair number of customers in on Friday night both dining and eating As ever, Cairngorm Stag on top form - that is why OBI has been included in the Good Beeer Guide for so many years. Between the three of us we had 2 OBI Burgers and the Feta in honey - all "delighted". A tad pricy for what we had, but worth it for a good night.
Particularly handsome bartender served me my lunch
