Our main restaurant is located adjacent to our garden and courtyard and is perfect for evening meals, Sunday lunches and special occasions.
The Terrace Bar serves food from 11.30am and is where you can enjoy delicious small plates, as well as fresh coffee and tea, and a range of bespoke cocktails in a relaxed and casual setting.
Please note: Dogs are welcome in the Terrace Bar, and outside on the Terrace. Dogs are not permitted in the Restaurant.
We were delighted with everything at our recent celebration and afternoon tea at this lovely hotel. The consideration and care given by all, especially the kitchen to allergies and dietary requirements was excellent! As was the service by all the staff. The food and atmosphere were perfect as well. Thank you to all , Jayne and the team at The Summerhouse
Lovely Sunday lunch. Always good food and service, love it here.
!st Class from walking through the door until leaving
We had a lovely night here. Room was great, clean and comfortable. Meal in the restaurant was exceptional, as vegans we were superbly catered for and enjoyed a great meal.
Perfect evening. Incredible food and the staff were fantastic.
Excellent stay overall. It just seemed a bit understaffed in relation to the service as the individual staff were really good
All lovely, Thank you
Delicious food - nice place although not the warmest of welcomes. Everyone enjoyed everything, the oyster and monk foish fritters were to die for and the wine was wonderful. One thing - I am on a low salt diet and found the food a bit over seasoned. Why pre-salt chips and potatoes? Can we not do that ourselves? Last comment - I would have awarded more stars except for the following. It was my birthday and I asked beforehand If I could bring a homemade cake in. This was okayed, but they omitted to tell me we would be charged £4 for every slice eaten. £20 extra on the bill! I am now 59 and in all my (MANY) birthday meals the world over, I have never experienced this before. I understand the reasoning because we omitted pudding, but the ill will it has created was surely not worth it? We ordered over £200 worth of food and drinks - plus a bar tab. So..we withheld some of our usual 10% tip to make up for this. The restaurant ended up no better off anyway; just silly and mean spirited and we wouldn't have had puddings anyway.
We ate in the restaurant on both nights we stayed at the Mount Haven and the food was exquisite. Beautifully cooked and presented. Service was outstanding and I’d highly recommend the restaurant.
Apart from waiting for table everything was fabulous food excellent service excellent lovely atmosphere definitely enjoyed it and would recommend to try.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay could not fault ambience. The evening meal was exceptionally good. Will return soon!
Our stay could not have been better, thank you
My wife and I have just return from a three day stay at this wonderful hotel. Wow this place is amazing in a fantastic location and the food was to die for! Staff were attentive and nothing you asked for was a problem. Will definitely be returning soon , will be recommending this hotel to all our friends. Thank you
A really wonderful stay. All the staff were very friendly and polite. The room upgrade was well worth it - such a beautiful room and of course stunning view. If you're not a 'foodie' the menu could be a little daunting, but everything we ordered was delicious.
Lovely 3 night stay. Blissful Bay room with balcony and fantastic views Great Sunday roast and other meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful.
Thank you! It's good to hear you enjoyed your time with us and we hope to see you again soon.
What a treat Fabulous food, friendly and professional staff Great location We had a wonderful Sunday lunch experience Will definitely book again Thank you Mount Haven Hotel
Staff are a credit to your hotel. Soft lighting in the bar lounge evenings would be lbetter.. . food is simply amazing.... absolutely wonderful food creative and tasty
All round great hotel with a fantastic view of St Michael's Mount
Our second visit to this lovely hotel which is immaculate and very welcoming. The breakfast choice is excellent and very well cooked. Dinner on our first evening was very enjoyable but would have liked a different menu as much the same as the previous night. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We look forward to a return visit.
The food was nicely presented and of good quality, despite some portions being on the small size. However, my husband felt that something a little more traditional should have been included on the menus. Our room was lovely, nice large comfy bed, fluffy white towels and delicious smelling toiletries. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially on reception and those in the restaurant.
Thank you so much for letting us know your thoughts. We are pleased that you had a good time with us and we do hope to see you again soon.
Lovely relaxing stay, very comfortable rooms, great water pressure for the showers, food is fantastic, this is the second time I have stayed and will certainly be back again
Thank you! We look forward to seeing you again soon,
Wonderful location and friendly and attentive staff, thoroughly recommend for a stay in Cornwall.
Thank you so much for letting us know. Hope to see you again one day soon.
We had an excellent meal. Our visitor enjoyed the evening. We like the layout and ambience of this Hotel
Thank you so much. We'll pass on your comments to the team. Clare
We have been to the Hotel several times over the years and we were a bit disappointed on this occasion. The current décor in the restaurant I thought was charmless and a bit clinical. A bit like a waiting room or café. There was little atmosphere and no music. The staff weren't very warm and we had to chase our drinks order and when it came my cocktail was watery The food was well presented and the starter was lovely. However, the main which was Hake was swimming in a watery sauce and had 3 peeled heritage tomatoes, not very tasty I am afraid. We did not stay for desert. On the whole, very sadly, I would no longer recommend.
