About The Morley Bar and Eatery
Our family-run bar and restaurant is based in the heart of Plymouth, set just off the riverbank with fantastic views. Come in and join us in our cosy bar with plenty of seating for the family. We aim to source the best produce locally to provide a pub experience that you can believe in.
Excellent service and food thank you
I came to the Morley to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. I have to say just how impressed I was with the whole experience. Service was friendly helpful and professional. The food was outstanding.Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered and there wasn’t one complaint and we were a party of 12. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely recommend to others. Thank you Emma 😁
Buffet food was ordered but this was not an easy process. On the night some members of staff were less than helpful and, despite paying a deposit were insistent that the balance was paid on arrival. This was despite having an account open for a free drink for everyone which we paid at the end. The food was mediocre and uninspiring. There were no serving spoons, we had to use forks which was tricky as we had hummus! I would not rush to book this venue again
We loved it so much, we immediately booked a return visit on 29th Nov. Same group, same table. Everything was superb.
Fabulous food, great atmosphere and service was excellent.
We have been visiting the Morley Arms regularly since they opened it is by far the best thing Plymstock could have asked for. We are always greeted with such friendly, helpful staff, fantastic food and great service. Whether you want a lively night in the Gin bar, or relaxing meal or a private function they have it all and nothing is to much to ask. We have recently hired the gin tent for our wedding reception after getting married abroad and everyone had a fantastic time. It really is the best place for a party and extremely well priced. Definitely recommend
Waited a long time for our order to be taken. Took a long time for the food to come out. We were a table of four in the corner so think we weren’t seen easily. Drinks are very expensive and so is the food
Really amazing food, good service, would come back for more.
Room became very noisy during the evening so we decided to leave. Disappointed at no vegetarian specials, even the dessert was not. Perhaps a bit expensive for what I had, although the food was tasty (as was the gin - but no list of gins to look at in the restaurant - waitress kindly photographed the bottles for me to look through).
We were disappointed by the service as we ordered 5 breakfasts & additional side order 2 came out then there was approx 20 min wait for the other breakfasts & side order which was to go with the breakfasts that came out 1st
The service was quick and the place looked friendly and tidy. This was my first time eating here and I was concerned as the website said we could only have the table for an hour and when I called to amend my reservation the person on the phone sounded very rushed and made out as if the place was fully booked and adding a high chair may not be possible. Luckily when we arrived the place was very calm and we were not rushed to give up our table. The food is really great sized portions and tasty.
We came for father’s day lunch, we thought being a late Table that the food might not be. As good as if we are booked earlier however we were pleasantly Surprised , It was a really lovely roast. The atmosphere Was lovely and the outside area with the gin bar is perfect just what Plymouth needs. It would be a lovely Place to spend a sunny evening.
Always a friendly welcome & the staff are always on top form. Food & drink is delicious. Highly recommended.
