About The Monro
A short walk from the vibrancy of Liverpool One, The Monro is your perfect sanctuary. Think home-cooked food, log fire, courtyard-garden and more. A bit like home, but better.
All Staff very friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent and we will be booking again.
Excellent as usual
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great food and attentive but not intrusive service.
Ordered soft drinks, they were flat and warm. The roast was disappointing, meat was very fatty, and the gravy was lukewarm. Shame as the service was brilliant.
Excellent food and service!
Lovely food and service.
Excellent going back for Sunday dinner excellent quality and service
Another faultless display of friendly staff excellent hospitality and wonderful food.
Good range of food; well presented and cooked ... shame there was such a delay in getting it to the table (especially when the place was quiet) The friendly staff overcame some of our frustration with the service so would still recommend :-)
Amazing food with friendly and helpful staff. Would 100% recommend.
The staff are excellent, food is excellent, its the best Sunday roast by far in Liverpool
Food was really nice, but the service was shambolic. We had to ask for everything twice sauces, drinks etc. our bottle of water was put on an empty dirty table next to us and the extra portion of cauliflower cheese never arrived until we chased it, this was then going to be on the house but was still put on the bill! Won't be rushing back.
Starters took a while to arrive. Food was good though.
The Staff and service were lovely but unfortunately the quality of the food was not worth the money charged.
Really nice Sunday lunch and the service was excellent!
We paid £150 for four Sunday roasts, one starter, three deserts, two bottles of wine and two pints of lager. Not a cheap lunch out but the Monroe has a nice atmosphere and the service is very friendly and attentive. The only disappointment is that the lower cost bottles of wine starting at around £23 per bottle are pretty poor. With the same wine available in Supermarkets for around £5-6. We're happy to pay more for wine in a pub/restaurant but that's quite an inflation for a cheap wine.
The staff member who served us (female sorry didn’t get her name) was brilliant really helpful, friendly and had excellent customer service and attitude. Food was also excellent. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent service, friendly staff and delicious food.
1st time visiting The Munro and I wasnt disappointed, service was fantastic, we ordered the roast dinner and it was delicious. Would definitely be paying it a visit again 👍
Lovely meal with friendly attentive staff.
Lovely atmosphere, Friendly welcoming staff, Very good service, excellent food. Will go back
Had a lovely lunch
Wonderful lunch Starters especially good and a little different Atmosphere good and just wish I knew before I could have parked opposite for the day instead of further down the road and more costly
Superb meal once again at The Monro. Fabulous choice of vegetarian and vegan food, makes a welcome change to find such variety in a pub. We were served by a young lad who was exceptional and very polite. Would definitely recommend it to others and will come back soon.
