About The Monro
A short walk from the vibrancy of Liverpool One, The Monro is your perfect sanctuary. Think home-cooked food, log fire, courtyard-garden and more. A bit like home, but better.
Lovely food, nice ambience, good wine ...enjoyable.. would recommend
Extremely poor service, Was served the wrong drink twice, no apologist. I was then served the wrong starter twice, again no apology! Was just told the waitress had put the wrong order through the till and it would be out soon. By the time it had arrived the other person I was with had completely finished which meant I was eating on my own. Waitress just kept walking past when trying to attract attention. Quality of the lamb was poor, was cold and dry. Been here numerous times previous and always been great! Not sure I will return following my recent visit which is a shame as it’s a great pub.
What a little gem the Monro is. Food was fantastic we had a Sunday Roast! Kids loved it to. Cracking atmosphere and luvley staff. We will be definitely be visiting again soon. The Spence Family
Best roast I have had in a long time.
Overcharged on bill but rectified when queried. The free beer Wednesday lunchtime was charged. However food and beer were both excellent and we will return another time.
Advertised Sangria was not available, and we didn't realise until afterwards that only 1 portion of loaded fries was provided. Disappointing
We dined at 5:30pm on a Sunday and unfortunately two of the roast dinners had sold out. There wasn’t much on the menu left to have.
Good food, friendly people!
The Monro has totally lost its way. The choice of food has changed for the worst. I and my friend loved coming to the Monro but I’m sorry to say we will not be coming back.
great food at the Monro
Fantastic in every way! We loved the food and had a great time. Highly recommended
Lovely staff, food delicious
Went recently for Sunday lunch, solid food, well cooked good variety, the chicken looked the meal to go for. Yorkshire pudding was lovely and massive but does therefore prove quite hard to eat. Overall really good, will be back!
Fabulous Sunday lunch.
Service was a bit slow, we had to call over a waitress to order drinks and food.
Great atmosphere and excellent service for my party of 16.
Great service and value
I cannot give feedback as I placed the booking for relatives and did not attend.
Tremendous food and service
Very disappointing evening nearly all the starters were not available there were 6 in our party and could not have starters we wanted, also my friend chicken was dropped on the floor and they did replace it but it was too over cooked
Lovely venue for both drinks and food with an excellent and attentive service from a lovely group of people. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, we will definitely be back next time we’re in Liverpool.
Had a lovely post marathon Sunday roast.
Overall an excellent experience.
Glad we went!
