Please note that it is our policy to make regular changes to the menus, which can sometimes be at very short notice and that bookings for 10 people or above will require either a pre-order, reduced menu, set menu or a combination depending on numbers. This is to ensure that we can deliver the best possible level of service and quality to our guests.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal!
Very friendly and welcoming even with us having wheelchair . Food and service good - atmosphere buzzy - has a good time - thank you
We had great evening and enjoyed very friendly service.
As usual my friends and I had a lovely meal. The service was good, staff always friendly and helpful. We keep coming back!
We went to the Mole Inn forSunday lunch. We have been several times before and as usual we had a delicious meal in lovely surroundings. The food was wonderful, the ambiance delightful and the service excellent. I cannot recommend the Mole highly enough.
We've eaten here many times before although perhaps not for 12 months. It is a beautiful place. I have never been dissapointed with the food before but this visit I wasn't completely happy. The beef was not hand carved which I don't particularly like, very thin and not pink enough for myself and overall the portion size was quite small. Had our kids eaten their share of the vegetables I don't think there would have been enough for all four of us. That said everything was still very yummy.
Lovely atmosphere for lunch with family. This is the second time we have been for a lunch and I would recommend this restaurant.
Avery pleasant lunch thoroughly enjoyed by my wife and myself.
Expensive but food lovely-service very friendly and helpful. We were not rushed out and you helped with the cake for my father’s birthday-thank you
The Sunday roast we had was very nice would have liked a bit more veg staff were very polite would go again
Food was great, if a little expensive for what it was. Great atmosphere and spot on service received!
Always one of my favourite plaçes around Oxford!
Starters and desserts were good. Main course meats were tough and, by the time were were eating them, almost cold as were the vegetables. We are quite a big family party and have met up at The Mole for lunch bi-annually over the past 5/6 years. Sadly, in view of the above, we are now reconsidering whether to break with that and go somewhere else.
It was our first time to eat at The Mole Inn, and it was very nice. The building, furnishings, ambience were all convivial to a good evening. The menu was thoughtfully compiled with many very tempting dishes. The food was excellently. Cooked and presented. Service was a little slower than expected, but the restaurant was full, and I’d rather wait a few extra minutes and have freshly cooked food, than have food come out in 10 minutes knowing that it was been prepared a while ago. We’d definitely eat here again, and in the area there is very little that can compete with it.
Fabulous as always
Very friendly and accommodating. Excellent food but expensive for a lunch menu.
This was our first time at the Mole Inn and we enjoyed it greatly. Food was excellent and service was attentive and friendly - especially considering how busy the pub was on New Year's Day.
Excellent lunch on New Year’s Day. Terrific atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Fabulous food excellent service
Some of our party arrived early and some were delayed. The staff were friendly and accommodating and we were all made to feel welcome while we waited. Food was served later than expected but we were happy with the standard of service apart from delays in taking drinks orders and serving desserts. An apology followed the latter and we appreciated that it was a busy day. The quality of food was generally very good. I personally thought the apple tarte tatin was overly sweetened with too much apricot jam as that overpowered the flavour. I won’t order that again. The quantity of all portions was generous and we all enjoyed the occasion. I like having the service charge included on the bill as one doesn’t have to think of that as an extra. Thank you for providing a lovely venue for our family get together. We’ve been before and we expect to return.
Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived; you had sold out of Guinness and roast beef. Ordered the sharing platter beef but had to ask for horseradish and more gravy. Also roast potatoes very hard. It was ok, but not impressive
I felt our waitress did not have a good grasp of was on the menu
Me and my girlfriend had a really enjoyable evening at the Mole. The food was excellent and the service and ambiance were spot on. 10/10. We will definitely book again if we are in Oxfordshire. Thanks,
