This is to ensure that we can deliver the best possible level of service and quality to our guests.

Beautiful location Fantastic interior Discrete service Food lovely Starter and pudding plates far too big!
All great but felt cold in the restaurant. Heating is not good enough.
We really enjoyed our evening meal at ‘the mole’ , it was beautifully presented and all four of us found a choice to suit out palette. The food was of a very good quality and when we return to Oxford would love to eat once again at ‘the mole’ Well done chef.
Rather ordinary food. Very busy and rather cramped. Waitresses very pleasant, but service very slow. Would be better at a less crowded time of year, but we are unlikely to return.
Delicious Sunday lunch perfectly cooked meat. Excellent service
The Mole certainly lived up to expectations; there were plenty of staff working and the service and food were excellent. At no time did our group of 8 people feel at all rushed and we enjoyed a relaxing lunchtime meal.
Very helpful on the telephone when trying to find a time for booking. Lovely being able to bring the dogs into the bar tables. Will definitely try and come again.
For meals with family (including young children) and friends The Mole is often our first choice. The quality of the food is always excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Everyone is made to feel welcome - what more could anyone ask for?
Whilst visiting our daughter in Oxford over the weekend we wanted to find a nice country pub to have a Sunday roast. After searching online I found this pub which had very good reviews. Booking online was easy with confirmation coming through straight away. Have to say I agree with the other good reviews we enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast in a typical countryside pub. Was very busy (so would recommend you book) but the service was not slow and was very friendly. Would definitely go again if I was in Oxford.
I booked this as a present for my Dad’s birthday. There was three on the table and we all ordered salads - two of the duck and one squash. We were all quite disappointed that there was very little salad leaves and even asked if we could have a side salad to supplement. The waitress said that wasn’t possible as you didn’t offer a side salad on the menu. It turned out to be quite expensive for lunch and instead of enjoying a nice fresh salad it was mainly greasy meat or 3 pieces of squash. Disappointing.
It was a grey, wet November day but lunch in the warm, relaxing atmosphere of The Mole Inn made us forget the miserable weather. We both had some of the best burgers we've ever tasted. The Mole has never disappointed us.
Best roast dinner in Oxford (apart from my mums)
Very friendly service & lovely setting. Food was delicious.
Overall a lovely experience for my daughters 18th birthday lunch .
Four meals: one plaice was lovely. Other three were roast. All three were no better than warm. One was sent back and microwaved One - lamb was too chewy and uneaten. There was not enough veg. I asked the waiter for more he said he would get some more but it didn’t arrive. The veg was served in a cold dish. One coffee served was almost cold. To be fair, a second coffee was provided at no charge. Up to about four years ago we ate regularly at the Mole until the woman in charge got on our nerves too much. So we thought we would try again. No more! I deeply resent having a service charge added to the bill.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
Delicious food in a delightful atmosphere. Thanks!
The food was very tasty and the service attentive without being intrusive. However, we thought our table for two was very close to the next table. We'll be back.
Great food lovely staff really enjoy my time with my wife there A+++
Excellent service, friendly staff.Delicious Sunday Roasts and desserts to die for! Only disappointment, you’d run out of fresh bread to nibble on whilst having a cheeky G&T.
Great food in a nice atmosphere with good service.
Fantastic food and service.
Great evening out with guaranteed good food and great atmosphere.
I’ve been coming to the Mole since it opened and I’ve never had a bad meal or bad service. It’s superb. I’d recommend it to everyone
