About The Marke Kitchen & Bar
Whether you’re leaving or arriving in our emerald city, we want you to feel like a local while you’re with us.
Constantly inspired by our favourite neighbourhoods, we make sure you can eat, drink and live like them here.
Our kitchen and bar bring together the best our city has to offer, in the form of a glorified marke-t. Rotate that ‘t’, and x marks the spot.
Did not understand the menu.
The food was delicious. Ana who served us was exceptional. Lovely, warm, friendly and helpful.
Wonderful place to spend New Years Eve. The service and staff were exceptional. Thank you to everyone who made my Birthday and NYE a night to remember. xx
Very enjoyable evening made even more so by a delightful waitress named Anna, formally from Brazil.
Great experience and great food
menu very limited and overly priced. Great range of fancy names for food on a limited menu.Service not great either, would hate to be there if restaurant was actually busy.
I was greeted immediately by a friendly member of the managing staff Ben who quickly communicated with his colleagues to find my booking at have me seated. My table was tended to by Tim who made sure we were tended to with drinks and the menus. After decided what to eat I hadn’t needed to wait more than 10 seconds before my order was taken by Ana. The food was amazing, specially the Lamb Shoulder and the Beef Brisket which were both recommended by Ana. Travis at the bar made fantastic cocktails that me and all my friends enjoyed. When we had completed our food the plates were cleared immediately and we ordered dessert which was also amazing. I would recommend everyone eats at this amazing restaurant.
Good variety of menu items. Staff were friendly and obliging.
Excellent place with wonderful service and food. I will go back again.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal
Great food, lamb for two is a must
My wife and I followed the "chefs suggestion" and tried the slow cooked lamb shoulder for two. It was a perfect choice and we thoroughly enjoyed the most tender meat and accompaniments. The perfect sharing meal and a very nice Shiraz to boot!
Very good meal, excellent staff. Special mention as staff recognised it was my Birthday with a little extra & catered for our 3 year old exceptionally. Just sorry I can't recall your names but you know who you are.
Our dinner was good but need to work on presentation of food. I had salmon for my mains but was dissappointed that it came with coleslaw and green beans - something that I would eat from a Bistro meal and for the price I paid I would expect better.
Sooo much better than 6 weeks ago, big improvement with new menu.
Food good. Staff wonderful. Attentive. Efficient without feeling rushed. TA little too hot inside on a hot Sydney day however the whole foyer area is being renovated.
Each person on our table spoke of the noise from other tables. It may have been out of your control but a large group who shouted from end to end of there tables was quite unpleasant. You need some signage with the restaurant name at the front.
The restaurant was incredibly hot and stuffy despite us asking repeatedly for the air conditioning to be turned up- our waitress apologized and said it’s been like this for awhile so we assume it’s briken in some way. The food menu was extremely limited in choice and prices were outrageous for such a small serving of pasta. The comment by our friend was he needs to go to Macdonalds for a feed after as his porcini past didn’t go close to filling him. Fortunately we received 50% of the food bill being Accor members but this alone wouldn’t entice us back- convenience being above to dine in the hotel but perhaps on our next stay we will eat elsewhere. The only memorable part of the evening was the pleasant waitress.
Perfect. We had a lovely quiet table with a good view of everything going on around us. The service was great, the food was excellent and beautifully presented. There was no pressure on us to hurry up. A great way to relax after a hectic day in Sydney rushing from one appointment to another.
Great service and excellent atmosphere！
The food at Seasons is very good. When dining at Seasons, you need to make sure the actual restaurant is open and they aren't just serving the Seasons menu in the bar area. It appears that when they are short of staff they only open the one venue. When we dined, there was a large and noisy group of drinkers situated in the centre of the room the whole evening. It wasn't pleasant for the people there for a meal. If you find the Seasons menu being served in the bar, go elsewhere, however, if they have the restaurant open at dinnertime, you'll have a great meal.
I had a 6pm booking and didn’t receive my meal till close to 7.30, and they weren’t even very busy. To make it worse I had a 2 year old with me. I was informed that they had stuffed up my order. They didn’t charge for the child’s meal as a way of apology. I wouldn’t eat here again.
Exceptional hospitality from very professional employees. Food was delicious and the wine menu catered for a variety of tastes. Loved the wines. I will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others. Thank you for a relaxing enjoyable stay.
Delicious fresh cuisine. Professional friendly service.
An excellent meal and outstanding service by Jennifer.
