About The Manor Restaurant
A tastefully converted 17th century listed building, set within a beautiful landscaped courtyard, located in Greasby Village at the heart of the Wirral Peninsula. The choice of decor at the Manor offers a sophisticated yet hushed elegance and you are always assured of a warm welcome from our friendly and informed staff. Monday to Saturday, during the day we serve high quality lunches and every evening from 5pm we offer our superb dinner menu, on a Sunday traditional roasts are our speciality!
With me it’s the little details that matter especially in the restaurant, having been at the very high-end of restaurants around the world. Atmosphere was a little bit subdued, The staff used to be very polite was incredibly friendly. The staff yesterday were friendly but it didn’t feel genuine. The table was wonky, the host fix that no problem. But there are minor things that should be checked and dealt with before a customer goes to the table after all who used the table before, Who cleaned and set the table surely they would’ve noticed. The main course was lovely the starter was all wrong. It won’t stop me going again having gone there all these years. But if it persisted like that I would stop going.
Very efficient,friendly staff. Excellent food.
served starters whilst not at table then taking jacket off rushed service do not know why? Wine was not chilled. 1st pork meal was tough the next one not cooked raw in middle. Overall bad experience and too expensive!
We really enjoyed the evening and felt it was true value for money
Lovely meal with my sister and my parents. All had three courses and lovely wine. Staff very pleasant and attentive without being too overbearing. Very nice evening and no doubt we will be back soon.
Sea bass was tasteless which was a shame as the standard is usually excellent
Quality place & food
Online booking was quick and easy with useful e-mail reminders of details.Very friendly and attentive staff who were able to support our group's wide range of needs! The food was delicious as always and was excellent value for money.
The service was very poor. We had to wait a long time to be served with drinks and then a ridiculous wait in between courses. Spoilt the experience and tarnished our view of the Manor.
Delicious food at good prices. We had the Sunday menu which was 2 courses for under £15.
Fabulous girly night out ! Food was amazing, just one hiccup with a Fish dish ( a little dry, but was dealt with) all my guests were very pleased and we had a wonderful evening. The waiter was magnificent and could not do enough to be more helpful. Well Done as always.
Both the service and the food were hugely disappointing. Portions were small and the stuffing tasted like it was from a packet. Pasta was soggy and over cooked. We waited ages for everything and in the end we could not wait to leave. Went home via Sainsbury’s do we could make our own desserts!!
Thank you for a fantastic evening. Our party of 8 unanimously agreed that the food was excellent and that the standard of service was; welcoming, professional and very friendly.
the manor sadly has gone down hill , the food here used to be outstanding not so any more ! we ordered crab and avocado starter with no crab in it and my husbands steak was tasteless with no colour on the outside of it despite being medium ! my crushed potatoes where unpleasant and tasteless with no butter or seasoning , the pud ie ginger cake and custard was cold and would of tasted better warm , overall wont be back after paying £89 ! we booked at 6.30pm which was last order on the cheaper menu and where told we couldn't have it , no cloths on table and we where cramped up to the table next to us this being a special anniversary wasn't exactly romantic !!!!!! what are you going to do about it ?????
We really enjoy dining st Tge Manor, it is our go to restaurant where we know we will have a beautiful dinner with fantastic service by pleasant staff. Would be fantastic to have the pianist playing on the weekends!
All good, no issues, would have no hesitation in returning
Simply the best
Always have a nice time many thanks
Excellent food. Service seemed a bit rushed in and out of there in about an hour! Asked to go to our table as soon as we walked in even thou yes hadn’t got a drink. Will definitely return as food is amazing.
Food was lovely, excellent service couldn’t fault it really. One little moan is tables bit too close together
You are improving I have been three times since March and each time its been better
Excellent food complimented by great service, thank you.
Booked table via internet for 12.00.Doors locked at 11.50 had to ring to be admitted.Suggest 12.15 should be earliest booking.(I am post op (triple bypass) and waiting outside is unacceptable.Order for 3 portions of turbot taken(annouced later only 1 left).
My starter of Prawns in a garlic sauce was absolutely divine and that was the highlight for me as my rack of lamb was far too pink and fatty and next time I will go for the lamb shank which my partner had and as usual was spot on !
Lovely Family meal
