About The Lygon Arms Hotel - Lygon Wine Bar
The Lygon Wine Bar is a relaxed wine bar with a focus on Italian and European Wines by the glass, carafe and bottle. If you're popping in for a glass and are feeling a little peckish, enjoy a selection of Italian bites and casual dishes. In the heart of the village of Broadway, we've captured the Cotswolds charm in our unique venue that is both stylish and contemporary.
If you fancy bringing a memory of Lygon Arms home with you after your stay, all of our wines will be available to purchase in the Boutique.
Blake was brilliant. Thank you for an excellent evening.
Lovely restaurant with nice food and drink , reasonable prices. My starter the bruscetta was divine and the pizzas were very nice too and the Cotswold porter dark beer was excellent . The staff were very polite and friendly , enjoyable experience on our day out in the Cotswolds . If I was being picky then maybe the pizzas could be slightly bigger on the kids and adult menu and maybe a few more toppings options for the pizzas like olives artichokes etc! But overall i would definitely recommend this eatery and wine bar.
Wonderful food with a great choice of wine. 👏🏻
Abigail and crew excellent as ever. Please put Lasagne back on the menue.
Usually fantastic atmosphere however this time we were in the wine bar and we weren’t as keen. The Lygon is our favourite place to go for a drink, meal or snack. Your staff are always fantastic and it’s wonderful to be able to bring our dogs along. The place is superb.
Excellent service and amazing food, thoroughly enjoyed our evening, thank you!
Friendly staff but it took a very long time for the food to come and thr room was freezing.
We were staying at the Hotel and opted to have a evening meal in the wine Bar rather than the restaurant especially as live music was on offer which we had been notified of by an email. We were surprised to find it was a gentleman singing and not a lady by the name of Hayley. When mentioned to the staff they said they knew nothing about it. There was a long wait once we had finished our mains (which I must say was excellent) before anyone came to us and another couple sitting opposite. On mentioning this, after a while the young man came back and offered us a complimentary desert. Again it was very nice. I think the young man had been left on his own as we noticed our first waitress was helping out in the main Hotel area where we went for a drink afterwards.
A fabulous night out.
Service was friendly but slow. The food was lovely however and much better value than the Lygon bar and grill next door. I would recommend it.
It was a lovely evening - food was delicious and our server was really friendly, helping us with recommendations
There was live music on the night we went. It was wonderful. A perfect evening.
Lovely food , great service and perfect ambience xx
Very poor food in the Wine Bar.
Great place for quiet drink and meal. comfortable surroundings helpful staff.
Fantastic, food, wine, service and ambiance! Please keep up the good work
Nice intimate place. Good food.
Wonderful service in fantastic looking premises.
Great location in a picturesque village but the food here was a let down. They got my wife's order wrong (failed to include the main ingredient) and my pasta (which was under cooked) had basalmic vinegar all over it - which didn't help the flavour and was not in the description. I'd certainly look elsewhere to eat in Broadway!
Spa: so overpriced. 25 mins (which started 30 mins late and was v much the inside of 25 mins) was £55. I think that is very expensive for basically a 20 min treatment. (It was a lovely treatment). Room quite run down and a tiny bit dirty. But fine. Lovely charming helpful staff especially on arrival. Supper at wine bar was good. Breakfast was fine. I had been told it was amazing. (Maybe I chose badly).
I expected a wider range of wines by the glass. The range was the same as the Grill restaurant and I expect a wine bar to offer more. You could use an Enomatic wine dispenser or Coravins to extend the range. The spicy beef pizzetta was also sweet which I didn't like. Good options otherwise.
We had to send our food back as it was cold and under cooked.
Worst meal out for a long time. Only 2 staff on duty. Service poor (had to chase constantly), Table and mirrors grubby, WC's filthy with overflowing paper hand towels, Service slow, buzzing noise from radiator in bedroom above, 3 round tables for table of 6 (?!), Complained to duty manager who gave very honest and comprehensive response.
Had an excellent lunch, good food and attentive service. Highly recommended.
Abigail is a superstar! As always a great experience, lovely food and a great wine selection, but it’s the front of house that knocks it out the park!!!
