About The Lygon Arms Hotel - Lygon Wine Bar
The Lygon Wine Bar is a relaxed wine bar with a focus on Italian and European Wines by the glass, carafe and bottle. If you're popping in for a glass and are feeling a little peckish, enjoy a selection of Italian bites and casual dishes. In the heart of the village of Broadway, we've captured the Cotswolds charm in our unique venue that is both stylish and contemporary.
If you fancy bringing a memory of Lygon Arms home with you after your stay, all of our wines will be available to purchase in the Boutique.
Great getaway. The staff are all charming, the food delicious.
Fantastic service , food and wine in a cosy place
Nice food, limited menu. Very quiet. Expensive
A special effort was made (involving chocolate:)) for my 80 year-old twin birthday companions. Thank you. It was much appreciated.
Wonderful evening with friendly staff
Extremely impressed! We had lunch and very much enjoyed the gnocchi, pizza, lychee spritzer and pasta! Very good quality food and great service too. Will definitely return next time in area
We loved the ambience, the service and the setting of the hotel. Our experience was only affected by 2 things - the dinner at the wine bar which was satisfactory but not brilliant. I had the cheese and tomato pizza which wasn't very tasty or visually great to look at. it wasn't mozzarella and didn't have any basil on it and when I asked i was presented with watercress. It was tasteless and unappealing. The second thing for us was the noise which we could hear in our room all night - I am putting this down to the history of the building - but our neighbours were quite noisy!
Nice setting, nice starters, wine a little expensive relative to what it was but generally very pleasant.
Simple fare well presented. Service was excellent.
Lovely couple of meals at this cosy wine bar. Relaxed atmosphere and great food.
A most enjoyable evening
Great atmosphere and great food. The pasta and antipasto were delicious. The service was incredible, too.
Great place for a casual lunch.
Great little place. We stayed at the hotel and fancied casual dining. Wine was excellent and food ideal. Staff very friendly. Tad expensive for a wine bar menu but guess it is the Cotswolds.
The hotel and Spa were a bit tiered and unclean. Breakfast was very disappointing and we had to wait 25 minutes for it to arrive. Service overall was good and the hotel is beautiful.
Lovely costyplace and staff were lovely. That's as far as it goes. We arrived early and said we wanted a drink first. They pushed us for a food order. Starters arrived quickly which were good however main course arrived before stater planted removed. Crab linguini was tasteless and watery at £14 a head. We arrived at 7.20 for an evening out and were finished before 8pm!
Lovely meal and great service thank you !
The service here was very good. I enjoyed my burrata starter but the rest of the food was very average. Tables v close together so you feel that you can't really talk freely.
What a lovely place, so authentic and yet so contemporary as well. Menu limited but food good. It is a pity that it is not supported as much as it should be.
Service disappointing. We were put at a table next to the door on a very cold evening. I asked for us to be moved as there were only 2/3 other tables in use. We were then put in a much warmer spot. Service was poor especially as it was a quiet evening , not attentive at all. Very disappointing . As for the car parking and leaving your number at reception that was not good. The signs aren’t even visible if you arrive in the dark. Luckily I was aware of the parking ‘rules’ as my son was unfortunate to receive a parking ticket when we last visited. It is enough to put you off going again but I wanted my sister to experience your beautiful hotel. 😟
We love the wine bar. Great good and reasonably priced. Staff always lovely. So nice to have this facility in our village
Food 5/5 and wait staff were excellent. Disappointed to find there was no English sparkling wine available.
Lovely lunch , couldn’t fault it.
