About The Lygon Arms Hotel - Lygon Wine Bar
The Lygon Wine Bar is a relaxed wine bar with a focus on Italian and European Wines by the glass, carafe and bottle. If you're popping in for a glass and are feeling a little peckish, enjoy a selection of Italian bites and casual dishes. In the heart of the village of Broadway, we've captured the Cotswolds charm in our unique venue that is both stylish and contemporary.
If you fancy bringing a memory of Lygon Arms home with you after your stay, all of our wines will be available to purchase in the Boutique.
Very much enjoyed our stay. Extremely friendly and professional staff. We had a great time.
I think you should have linen napkins please, with the class of the Lygon it's a given. Love the new decor and the choice of food, thankyou
Really lovely evening. Good service and an excellent wine list as you would expect. Food was good. Burratta starter was fresh and full of flavour. Pasta main courses were good however the crab linguini was slightly spoiled by the amount of shell I found in it. Would definitely recommend despite a few minor things.
We had the most wonderful evening with delicious food and wines, very attentive service and a great atmosphere.
Love the charm of the front room
Staff make you feel slightly uncomfortable whilst your eating by standing close by watching
Perfectly cooked and seasoned pasta, reasonably priced and a relaxed atmosphere. Would certainly recommend.
Great environment and good wines!
We celebrated my husband 50th yesterday and were not disappointed. Lovely touch with the delights on the birthday plate, thank you.
Was a bit quiet when we visited so the atmosphere was not great - however the staff were very friendly and we had a lovely time. Disappointed to have a 12.5% service charge added automatically as we always prefer to choose our level of tip. Although you could ask to have this removed, I always believe that tips should be discretionary.
The gents urinals were blocked and overflowing and no hand soap, they needed a clean too. Very cold when sat in the window seats
A lovely place to eat and drink especially by the log fire on a cold winters night.
Great vibe here with great relaxed service and really reasonable pricing on main dishes and nibbles
Cosy, stylish, good service with great food. Keep up the great work. Thanks and recommend.
Kid's Club was great. The children loved it. Blanche and Freddie were fabulous.
Excellent service with a smile from Carly, the food was all excellent, wine was excellent too - can’t wait to go back when we’re next in The Cotswolds 👏
Limited choice of sensibly priced wines. Tables for two are far too small so you don’t want to hang around and order more. It becomes functional rather than relaxing. Staff good and food was excellent.
We think a customer should be given the option as to the percentage charged for service. It does say that it is optional but you do feel obliged to pay. Also you do not know where the service charge is going ...... does a percentage go to the chef and waitresses that produced and served the super meal?
2 waitresses served us, one was fantastic, unfortunately the second didn’t live up to her colleague. Otherwise lovely evening!
Fantastic service and great food. We can't recommend highly enough. Wine a little pricier than other places but you get what you pay for and even cheapest wine was superb. Counterbalanced by the very reasonable priced food which was wonderful. Staff cant do enough for you and great ambiance. This place is a gem. Go!
Warm welcome from staff, service excellent and attentive. Food quality very good. Will return.
To start with let me say how wonderful the staff were throughout. The dining experience was wonderful with plenty of lovely wines on offer along with a selection of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. My partners meal from nibbles to desert was truly lovely (little taster of each) although my main was slightly ‘off par’ which ordinarily would have been disappointing but in such a lovely environment it failed to dampen the evening. Out if everyone we spoke to that evening I think mine was a one off. That said the other courses were lovely and I wish I knew where those olives came from, really scrumptious. Pricing was reasonable and certainly good value when you consider the area. Overall I was impressed and will certainly be back.
A lovely place which deserved to be fuller than it was. Service was first class and the menu displayed a confident Italian hand behind it.
