The covid arrangements made us feel very comfortable. Staff were excellent and food delicious. Thank you
Food was delicious as always and staff were very friendly and attentive. Nothing to complain about, we always love visiting!
Social distancing was fine in the restaurant area. Food was really good, I had the chicken, ham and leek pie which was tasty with big chunks of meat, my husband had the burger which he said was delicious. Followed up with cheese for 2, plenty of it with a good selection. We had a bottle of Merlot which was very good. Service was quick and polite. Would certainly recommend.
Lovely meals in a safe environment.
Reassured that staff wear face masks and we saw a proper clean of the tables and chairs after each use. One member of staff did not wear a face mask and did not fully appreciate social distancing which was a disappointment. Over all good.
Good food, good service.
Excellent service, attentive staff
Great food, great service.
Wine prices are too high
I went for a meal with a couple of friends as they had expressed a wish to go to The Littleton Arms. I had previously been a few years ago and wasn't impressed. I have to say we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and felt comfortable with the Covid-19 processes put in place. I thought some of the prices were a bit high, £6.95 for a 250 ml glass of wine for example, but I did have the choice not to have one. However, I ordered ice cream for dessert which was three of the smallest scoops of ice cream I have seen for £5.95 with no trimmings, very over priced, I would have been better off having one of the other desserts. Overall however, I have to say I enjoyed the meal, was able to relax despite the current circumstances and would recommend The Littleton Arms.
friendly/helpful staff and the food is exceptional
Good meal with a great price and served very well
Excellent service and food!
Was very disappointed to learn that there was not a single bottle of champagne on offer that evening, I mean, who doesn’t sell it! We were celebrating a special occasion! Which I did highlight when booking. A reduced menu was being offered which ordinarily isn’t an issue, but the problem we found here is that we were specifically told the full menu was available for our visit. Finally, this isn’t necessarily the restaurants fault, but there were so many flies around it just made the atmosphere really quite unbearable. So much so, that one landed in my mother’s food and therefore was unable to finish her meal. In summary, I would not return here unless some changes are made. I would also welcome comments from the restaurant.
Visited for Sunday lunch. The Covid 19 precautions work well and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves good food at a reasonable price.
Its a lovely atmosphere at the Littleton, very friendly and helpful always
Great food and service in a traditional pub atmosphere.
On arrival we had a slight wait to be seen, but it was very busy at the time and once seated, the service was very swift and attentive.
I was so impressed by The Littleton Arms. From the greeting we received on arrival to absolutely everything during our visit. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, so efficient and prompt and the atmosphere was lovely. Although I live about an hours drive away I will definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Littleton Arms!
Awesome Sunday Lunch
A fantastic dining experience, well worth visiting.
Excellent food and service, once we were actually served - stood at the 'wait here to be served' sign on arrival for AGES, despite it not being busy, and being told 'We'll be with you in a second'....advice: grab bar staff attention and ignore the wait to be seated sign!
Service great and great pub grub.
