The Little Taperia is an award-winning popular tapas and restaurant in Tooting Broadway. We were named one of Time Out's Best London Tapas Restaurants in 2019. We serve classic Spanish tapas, wines and cocktails. We have a variety of seating areas: a main dining room with a long marble bar, a cosy back room with a view of the open kitchen, a fully heated enclosed back garden area as well as outside tables at the front and side of the restaurant.
After so many months it was just lovely to sit outside and experience a taste of Spain with a friend over lunch. It wasn't even that warm but the food was hot and tasty. Service was very attentive.I only scored it down for atmosphere as you do have to compete with the ambulances and motorbikes doing the Tooting Run but that is a given! Cant wait to return indoors or even try the back garden area?
This is my favourite tapas place in London!
Service was really good - the staff were attentive. The food was delicious, but I wish they had more gluten free alternatives like getting bread in for bruschetta. A lot of the gf options aren’t that filling. Otherwise it’s a lovely place to go!
Lovely little restaurant with excellent tapas and extensive drinks menu. Perfect for a date night!
Kind, speedy service with the freshest, most delicious food.
Thank you for the delicious tapas and lovely service!
Delicious food, friendly service and good atmosphere despite sitting in the street. Would highly recommend, especially the scotch eggs!
Lovely experience, the Sangria is delicious, strong and good value for money
The food was fantastic and the service was perfect, we were neither waiting around nor rushed. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we can't wait until we can eat inside.
Despite it raining and the pandemic the little Taperia did their best to accomodate us giving us our own little space out of the rain and we had a nice meal.
All round glorious. Staff were wonderful and the food top class. A local favourite!
Really nice dinner, so delicious! We enjoyed the Arroz Negro, a lot! The workers were so gentle and friendly with us. Specially a young woman from Mallorca (Spain) and a man from Peru. Both of them were so nice and sweet! We will come back for sure. Thank you so much.
Lovely food, service and atmosphere. Even the blankets provided were a lovely extra touch
We had a delicious but freezing evening meal sat outside during covid restrictions. Service and food were outstanding!
The food and drink were lovely but it felt very rushed throughout, it was very clear that they were back-to-back bookings! Think this will likely get better when covid restrictions continue to lift. Would go again though.
Excellent food- truly authentic. Highly recommended- a real gem! Sangria tasted amazing, excellent service and very tasty food. Scotch eggs were the best we have ever tasted! Thank you for a wonderful meal
Always brilliant. One of my favourite places to eat in London.
Great food and service. Main word of warning - wrap up WARM. No heaters/blankets. And just off the main Tooting High Road so not the most atmospheric but they’ve made the most it.
Great food and always such lovely staff / service...
Delicious food and friendly service!
