About The Little Chartroom
A small neighbourhood bistro serving local, seasonal dishes.
Lovely lunch in this bijou bistro. Will definitely return.
Absolutely stunning meal from Chef Roberta Hall. The presentation of the dishes was exquisite and the taste and flavour out of this world. Its little wonder you scored a 10/10 at The Herald If I could score it higher I would Unbelievably good !
Excellent diner! Accueil chaleureux, repas très fin avec une perdrix digne des grands chefs étoilés. L'assiette Michelin récemment attribuée est largement mérité. (Vaut le détour dans un quartier un peu excentré mais avec l'arrêt de bus devant le restaurant)
Beautifully presented dishes Great flavour and well executed Warm and welcoming service Highly recommend this place
Came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Beautifully prepared food with bold and vibrant tastes. Patient front of house willing to inform. All round great experience. Thank you
Lovely vibe and delicious food. The treacle soda bread was amazing, and we loved the small menu. WOuld highly recommend.
The meal was fabulous and even improved on our first visit in August The winter vegetable salad was extraordinarily imaginative and the bouibasse superb The wine list is eclectic If you have specific wine tastes and don’t want to be courageous it is limiting We would be pleased to bring our own wine for a corkage charge Please think about allowing this enhancement
Had a wonderful meal here!
Some of the best, innovative food in Edinburgh we have had. Friendly, attentive service. We sat at the stools where the prep happens which was really interesting. We will be back.
I love the concept and the local produce, everything is done with such style without being pretentious or overbearing! It's fun dining thats fun!
Great food as always and service to match!
Very nice food, friendly staff, great athmosphere. Sat at the bar and could watch the chefs doing their magic. loved it. Maybe a bit pricy for a midweek dinner (especially the wine), but will definately come back.
Sat at the table next to the toilet. Not the nicest when you're trying to eat. Often get a smell of fresher and doesn't pair with the food very well
The set menu is good value and the food is delicious - can’t wait to go back!
Our first visit and what a great experience. So welcoming and such great food.
Our Sunday brunch was delicious! The kedgeree was a taste sensation with the smoked fish, bursts of lemon and almonds- just the right sized portion too. Others on our table had pulled pork and chorizo on crumpets, also reported to be delicious. Lovely quiet, friendly and laid back atmosphere and the service was just right too. Such a good idea doing brunch on Sunday! So enjoyable, amazing quality- thank you all and hope to see you again soon.
A really excellent meal...so good in fact we came back for Brunch the next day and have been spreading the word to all our friends!
Such a wonderful evening! To start the service was amazing, very relaxed and very friendly. The food was incredible - we all had a mix of everything and it was so delicious we could have all eaten it for hours! The wine selection was great as well. Overall a pretty perfect evening, would recommend to anyone.
Fabulous food and lovely chat and service from the team. Best food I have had for some time and will definitely go back.
Lovely service, very tasty food. The venison was incredible.
Brilliant wee restaurant great to sit and watch the chefs work away, attentive and casual service, good luck to Roberta and Sean and will definitely be back
My mate will NEVER forget the Bramble tart! He’s still banging on about it. The rest of the lunch was.,,delicious. You’ve set a high standard, Respect.
Homely feel & beautiful flavours in every dish, good wine list & friendly service too! Thank you
