About The Life Goddess, experimental greek devine
In Greek tradition and culture cultivating, preparing and sharing food is a ritual. The journey of the senses starts from mother-earth and finishes at a feast on a table where all the family, friends and companions share the same nourishment and enjoy the sublime result of their efforts. For Greeks preparing a meal for someone is the ultimate token of respect, gratitude, friendship and love. Our philosophy is that good quality sustenance is the epitome of a healthy and happy life! At The Life Goddess we offer food that is grown in the ideal Greek climatic conditions: fruit and vegetables ripened under the abundant Greek sunlight, meat, fish and poultry grown by local cattle farmers and fishermen using traditional environment-friendly methods, superbly balanced, mouth-watering appetizers, salads, main courses and preserves in recipes that will simply blow your mind and arguably the best wines you ever tasted! The Life Goddess, greek experimental divine, our second project that opened in Kingly Court mid of September, encaptures a great effort to serve not only proper greek food but unique greek wines. The One Barrel project is a well executed idea that will offer 15 experimental wines in a total quantity of 300 bottles only, each time. Signature cocktails will be made and served exclusively for The Life Goddess, experimental.
It was my first visit to LIFE GODDESS and I simply loved the venue! The staff were so helpful and the food was delicious. I have already told a number of friends about it, and I will try the branch at Kingly Court soon-est.
Excellent service and beautiful food 👍
delicious, lovely atmosphere and setting, very friendly staff- recommend!
Food was fine, service was just ok. Would I go back, probably not. I've had much better dining experiences.
Our main meal was a 40 minute wait! Only when we complained to the manager who did apologise was the service speeded up. I’ve lived in Greece and the food was ok but mediocre. I feel annoyed that we paid the service charge that they added to the bill. If you want greek food go to the real Greek.
not suitable for trolleys!
very good value for money. We enjoyed the food. The staff are very friendly.
Did not have a good experience at all.. I think if you read your google reviews .. you'll see what I had written.
Excellent food - the Greek couple next to us said it was as good as being at home & I have to agree. Generous portions. STRONG cocktails! Friendly service, not rushed but there when needed.
Starters were very good. The main dishes I felt were poor in terms of presentation and taste.
Gteat food and staff. cant wait to come again
Server was great, drinks were great. It lacked a little atmosphere as it was so quiet, but it was only a Tuesday.
The food was very well cooked and tasty and the portions were fine as well..nothing bad to mention. However, despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty, the service was extremely slow. They definitely need to improve this. We ordered mousaka and they said that it was not ready to cut since it was hot (at 1pm in the afternoon)..they should have been better prepared in terms of time. And guys please play some Greek music in a Greek restaurant in the heart of London (and not Spanish music)..Cheers!!
Food was delicious but the portions were small for the price we paid. Lovely atmosphere.
The waitress wasn't as attentive to our table as we'd liked. We had to signal to call her over a couple of times.
This is the second time visiting The Life Goddess, the waitress was so nice and helpful, Lovely place to go to, Thank you, we will be coming back again
We love Greek cuisine and our family have holidayed in Greece for more than 30 years, to various islands and mainland destinations. It was a real treat to find your restaurant in central London and we look forward to coming back soon. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on Saturday 10th March - thank you.
Me and my friend did not enjoy main dish and also desert orange pie was out of date. Service very friendly. Not good for value money.
This was my second and LAST time at your restaurant. I went there with my parents after a lovely experience the first time round. The food was late, cold and burnt. The staff was almost non-existent and when i said that the food was cold, instead of, first acknowledging my dissatisfaction, she got all defensive and started talking about lots of irrelevant stuff on why. It was an utter disappointment, not to mention the expensive prices! Despite our dissatisfaction, she didnt even offer a courtesy compensation- even a cup of tea would do!I am going to tell all my friends& colleagues about my experience. Those 1-star ratings, in fact, consider them 0! Sorry to see such a nice-looking and cosy place go down. Our experience yesterday just doesnt go with the “blurb” you post on your website about yourself- all that about sharing and culture and hospitality...such a shame!!!
This is an entirely different place from a few years ago when it was serving truly fine Greek good. The ingredients are cheap, it appears the manager is cutting corners where he/she can. Seems like the place has given up on quality, detail and experimentation. The food is barely ok, very basic and unsophisticated cooking. Extortionately expensive for the quality served. I felt cheated and fooled. Will not be returning back.
Although the staff were friendly the service was very slow. Not necessarily a problem but our food was brought out at different times meaning we didn't really get to eat together! We ordered a mythos and was brought a dark fix bitter beer, which my son didn't really like, but all they had, but was billed for a mythos! Also was billed, quite royally, for two extra tiny baskets of bread for our mezes! Shame because the concept of the restaurant is good but the service, food and overpricing is below average
Absolutely amazing cozy restaurant in the heart of London. Food was delicious, service quick and polite.
mains were very good. dessert options were not as good as mains. didn't get starter - it arrived with the main. tables are very cramped in.
Amazing fresh food, excellent service!
We visited The Life Goddess for the first time with a brunch voucher we were gifted for a birthday. Unfortunately we were treated poorly. We arrived at 12pm to a completely empty restaurant and asked to sit by the window. We were told there were lots of bookings and couldn't sit there (an hour later we left, and still no one had sat by the window.) Service was very slow, and the waitress wasn't very friendly (though we heard her being lovely to the two other tables that eventually arrived.) We decided to not to leave a tip because of the poor service, and were glowered out of the restaurant. Such a shame when someone chose this experience for us.
