About The Lamb Inn Crawley
Having sold there eponymous London restaurant ‘Snows on the Green’ in 2008, Sebastian and Lana took over the Swan at Southrop in the same year where they were awarded The Good Food Guide UK restaurant of the year award in 2010.
After 4 successful years they opened the first Pub called The Five Alls in Filkins in 2012, a 9 bedroom Inn with a large restaurant. The Pub proved to be a big hit with excellent critique acclaim and press awards catering for a wide geographical base, celebrities and politicians alike.
In 2015 a second pub was added called the Plough In Kelmscott, a beautiful period building. Very much a classic British pub and eaterie this also proved a very popular river destination.
In 2017/18 we took on The Bull Hotel in Fairford, a beautiful old listed coaching Inn which we completely gutted and created a 21 bedroom market town hotel.
After 10 years in The Cotswolds with 3 pubs, 38 bedrooms we decided to sell to a small PLC and have a short rest.

Hi there, Many thanks for a lovely dining experience. It was a lovely afternoon, great food and atmosphere. We were really looked after so well by your staff - Very attentive and friendly. They couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our afternoon. We have already booked up for our next visit! Thanks, Ally
Table of 6 for a 50th Birthday lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much :)
Really lovely evening at the Lamb Inn for my birthday! Great food, atmosphere and service! We look forward to visiting again soon
Due to Covid we had to eat outside and it was a rather cold and miserable evening but The Lamb created a wonderful, warm outside space with fairy lights and a Moroccan feel, which far exceeded my expectations! The food was delicious too!
Really loved how you’ve created an outdoor space that still feels intimate and cosy. Best outdoor space we’ve been to. Good food and service. Thank you
It was a great atmosphere at the Lamb Inn and the effect of the lights under the tent, the soft rugs on the benches and the attractive heaters made the experience feel special rather than feeling you were being forced to eat outside because of Covid. The food and drink were excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. Definitely one to return to.
Great outside space and great food!
Lovely to be back at the Lamb again. It was pouring with rain but Lana’s beautiful terrace was so pretty, sheltered and warm. Food delicious as always!
Fantastic environment, relaxed atmosphere, great food friendly staff (including Molly!) and a truly excellent all round lunch experience - thank you
Nice outdoor space, food excellent. Just right for relaxing after our walk.
Such a pleasure to be able to enjoy first post-lockdown dining at the Lamb Inn. Food and service are as stellar as pre-pandemic.
Great as always even though it was blowing a hooley See you soon. X
Really excellent food and a lovely treat for the family - thank you so much!
Fantastic meal and service at The Lamb. Food was delicious and they have made a real effort with the outdoor dining, full of ambience.
Everything from start to finish was absolutely amazing... after being locked away for months on end, this was the perfect experience to get us back into dining out. The staff were all so welcoming and accommodating, although the chorizo was left on my fish dish after stating I didn’t eat meat. But I should of clarified when I ordered it, or mentioned it when it arrived. So it’s not a complaint, and they were super busy and these things happen. Other than that... perfect perfect perfect.
Really friendly place. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Too full for dessert though! The staff are really amazing, in particular Matt and Ella who looked after us so well. You really have nailed the brief in all respects. Booked again x
A lovely pub in a beautiful village setting. We were lucky with the weather which helped the atmosphere. The starters were universally enjoyed and all the roasts were cooked to a point where no one could find fault, lovely crackling on the pork, nice and pinky red with the beef. Ample portions excellent roast potatoes I would have struggled to make better at home. Deserts were very tasty too and washed down with a superbly balanced Sauternes. Service was attentive but not pushy at all, waiting times given the pub was very busy were surprisingly short. All in all a most enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back.
Wonderful service, food and staff
Great outside dining space and excellent service made for a wonderful lunch despite the best efforts of the British weather!
Lovely evening. They’ve really made the outdoor space a warm and comfortable setting. Excellent food and service.
Another lovely meal at the Lamb, a firm favourite.
Beautiful outside space and fab food - can’t recommend more highly
Always a wonderful experience. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Love it and will making frequent visits. Thank you. Jean Clark
So good to be back!! Beautiful garden. Thank you for a great evening! See you soon x
Nice atmosphere and food overall (cheesecake was to die for), although the Aubergine Parmigiana was heavy and not very authentic. I was very surprised to find that cocktails were 9.50! The location is not central Oxford so it’s not really justifiable (~£280 for four people in Crawley is a bit excessive!). Some very interesting pricing haha, considering it’s not quite the Ivy or even the Fleece. The staff were super nice though.
