About The Lamb and Flag
At Leeds Brewery we are proud to serve fresh, locally sourced, traditional pub food. Our menus change seasonally and, along with our in house monthly specials, our menu is designed to suit those looking for a bite to eat at lunch, or a great pub to enjoy meal in the evening.
I was part of a party of 6 enjoying a very nice Sunday lunch. It was fairly quiet but we sat upstairs inside as the terrace was full due to the sun being out. Both bar service and table service were friendly and efficient. Food was good and tasty although not pipjng hot. Decent portion sizes. Overall a lovely lunch. We will be returning.
Nice to dine in a pleasant friendly relaxed atmosphere, no pressure to rush meal even though there were other bookings. Lovely food good service, everyone seemed friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
I really enjoyed the food and the staff were very helpful with our dietary requirements.
Excellent fish and chip...add a few more chips please and a slice of bread and butter for a mopper. Washed down with couple of pints of the tremendous Leeds Pale
The only negative was how long we waited for someone to collect our payment. Other than that the food was beautiful and the service was very efficient. Will be returning
The L&F is a lovely pub, traditional in flavour but modern in outlook, great beer, buzzing atmosphere with a contemporary decor. Love what Leeds Brewary are doing. We had a couple of drinks and ate on a Friday before heading off to see Weller at the arena. Good quality and choice of both food and drink and really enjoyed our visit. Our welcome was especially friendly and warm and service was good. Only difficulty I had was getting drinks at a very busy Friday night bar, understandable. Don’t. Now if a table drinks service was available but non was forthcoming. Only our second visit but The L&F is very high on my list of fave Leeds Pubs.
Everywhere inside was clean, there were fresh flowers on the tables which was lovely and it was quick to pay after my meal which is good if you are returning to work
Great portion sizes, lovely staff and service
Service was really slow. I had booked a table and there was no indication of where we had to go to speak to someone about this. We finally got sat down and was told someone would be over to take our drinks order. 20 minutes had past and we started questioning whether we had to order at the bar. We caught the waitress’ attention and she took our order. The food arrived really quickly and was lovely. Our plates were taken very quickly and we were offered dessert. Again we were told someone would come and take our order. Another 15 minutes had past so by this point I said I would just order it at the bar to add onto the tab. The desserts arrived and we were very happy with those. A different waitress came and cleared our plates and she was very polite and friendly by asking how our food was and offering us tea and coffee. Overall good food however, if I was to come back, the service may need to improve.
Excellent as always, we can’t wait to come again👍
lovely sunday dinner at The Lamb and Flag and very reasonable price too thankyou
Overall was great food, service & a nice friendly atmosphere - but there was no lamb left and 3/4 of us at the table ordered it and were disappointed. I would definitely go again but probably try for an earlier lunch to ensure all options are available!
Great Sunday lunch
Very good food and attentive service!
Lovely food and portion size
The atmosphere was great and the service very attentive. We were informed that the cut of pork was belly but when it arrived it was loin, which was disappointing. The nut roast was also disappointing and I could only relate it to packet dried stuffing.
Saturday afternoon, good atmosphere, friendly service, value for money.
Our dinner reservation was cancelled 3 hours before. It was on New year's Eve. Very hard to get another booking. We had made the reservation several month before. The excuse was: they closed the kitchen earlier. Strange that they decided this so late. Totally not professional!!!
When we attended on the 26/12 for lunch there was not enough staff to cover the lunch bookings and the waitress advised us there were not enough staff in kitchen so there would be a 45 min wait for food. It was difficult to have table service for drinks due to the limited number of staff. There were multiple tables that seem to have booked lunch. The food and atmosphere in the pub was great.
Enjoyable food on a Sunday afternoon. Disappointing part was that we had booked based on the Christmas menu advertised on the website. When we arrived we were told the menu wasn't available.
Great food, lovely Christmassy atmosphere would definitely come back!
The quality of the food was good, it was just a shame that the main course was cold and had to be reheated. The staff apologised and gave us a free bottle of wine but it took the edge off an otherwise pleasant evening.
Had a lovely homely Christmassy feel and Sunday lunch was great!
Beautiful food and service but the room upstairs was a little cold.
