About The Kitchen at Feldon Valley
Contemporary Cotswold restaurant set in beautiful countryside with wonderful views. We focus on delivering the best possible service and creating a dining experience based on local produce and the seasonality of the area.
Special and innovative food
Our third visit to The Kitchen and the food has always been excellent as has the service. Wonderful setting overlooking the golf course and a great asset to the area. Can highly recommend.
Exceptional service, wonderful food.
Really friendly service on Christmas Day. The food was excellent and met our expectations. A great place to eat.
Problem with sun in our eyes
We had a very enjoyable Christmas day lunch here , lovely relaxing service no pressure to rush away ,enjoyed the lovely views, good atmosphere would definitely recommend, we enjoy going here for lunch in the week aswell
Excellent service and delicious food. Every course beautifully presented.
Enjoyed a lovely meal here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great atmosphere, and lovely decor etc. The service was friendly, efficient and attentive, without being overbearing. The food was simply delicious, fine dine at an affordable price. Would definitely come agian.
Good attention to detail from front of house, felt well looked after. Food was outstanding, great range of flavours and textures.
Very impressed by the high standard of the food dishes on offer and the service was friendly and professional
We were a large party and The Kitchen at Feldon Valley were extremely accommodating to our needs. The food was exceptional and the service was friendly and attentive. We could not have wanted for a better fine dining experience and look forward to returning soon.
Wonderful food and great service! The dishes are the perfect size to enjoy starter, main and dessert without bursting a button. Attention to detail excellent and obvious that each dish has taken a lot of care and thought. Great wine list with prices ranging from £20 to over £200 and most wine available by the glass!
This was our first visit to the Restaurant and thought the food was superb. Excellent quality. We will certainly be back and would welcome more information on your taster evenings - unfortunately we are not at to make this week 21st Nov.
Thank you for Saturday night. There were 4 of us and we really enjoyed our dinner. The food was very well cooked, very tasty and beautifully presented. Our servers were very attentive and even took us to see the health club facilities after we had finished our food. Only one small gripe....it was a cold night and we were placed in front of the main doors which didn’t close properly, so it was a bit draughty from time to time. Otherwise, well done, I hope to return again soon.
Food excellent. Not many bookings so lacked armosphere. Otherwise a pleasant evening. Temperature a little cool for ladies in flimsy tops. Nicholas Gale.
The Restaurant and Bar were both very cold in spite of the efforts of the staff to locate the cold draught. The overall atmosphere in the winter might be helped if the blinds were drawn when it is dark. Our food was most disappointing - the cured brill was in such tiny slices that the flavour was completely obliterated by a dash of mayonnaise on each piece - it looked great but the taste did not live up to its appearance. We both had Curried Monkfish Tails which was very lacking in flavour, heavy and rather cold. All the meals we have eaten previously at the Kitchen have been so good and we are sorry to have to be critical, but hope that it is constructive criticism. The location and views are wonderful in the summer, but atmosphere is somewhat lacking in the winter. On this occasion we sat in the bar and did not like the idea of being able to see into the kitchen - I see my kitchen enough at home! As usual the staff were very helpful and friendly
It is a fabulous place to eat. The whole experience is excellent. The food is outstanding, as the flavour combinations are absolutely delicious and the portion sizes just right. Thank you to your very talented chef for creating a great menu using local and seasonal produce. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and make dining there a real pleasure. I think you can tell 'The Kitchen' is now one of my favourite places to dine 😊😋
It was our first visit and we couldn't take in the beautiful countryside as it was dark and dreadful weather. The restaurant did certainly have a contemporary look but the design was open airy and well laid out. Although menu wasn't extensive the food was excellent and the deserts to die for. Service from the young waitress was excellent and she explained that all ingredients were locally sourced as well as how it was prepared. I give Feldon Valley a extra point for sourcing local produce. Well worth a visit.
Highly recommended for lunch and dinner
Everything first class. Are coming again in a week or two.
We had Sunday lunch at the Kitchen. All the dishes were delicious and looked beautiful and the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. We loved the table in front of the big window - lots of light and views of the golf course. We will definitely come back.
Another excellent meal. However still no pudding wine by the glass and coffee poor. That said, all six of us enjoyed a superb meal and will return!
A thoroughly enjoyable Sunday Lunch. We have some friends who are very particular about where they eat. We will be inviting them, with confidence, to join us on a return visit.
Thoroughly enjoyable lunch with excellent food.
Excellent. Menu was modern and different but accessible. Loved the use of local and seasonal ingredients and flavours. Highly recommend, will definitely be back.
