Wonderful dining experience
Bar service was abrupt on arrival. Menu was quite limited. Ordered wine with each course which did not arrive with the food. Table by the stairs/toilets was interrupted by a constant flow of traffic. Have loved the KA in th past but would think twice about coming back.
Great food, as always
We really enjoyed the food, the portions were excellent and everything was so tasty. Great value for money. I had a lovely birthday lunch. I came into the office the following day and told everyone to get booking!
Gorgeous building lovely food and the best creme brûlée I’ve ever tasted 😀
Good quality food. Well presented. Lovely location. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.
Had a wonderful afternoon tea with exceptional service. Would highly recommend
Best Afternoon tea around
Visited for a birthday lunch and was served good quality food. My proper Pie of the Day was beautiful and the Mrs's Fish & Chips (cod) was very tasty. Service was excellent and we don't mind waiting a bit for proper food at all. Price is well worth it for decent food at a decent pub.
Fabulous food and really great service.
All good, food, service etc. Highly recommended
had an amazing dining experience, great service and an exceptional team, many thanks for a great evening
food was lovely well cooked my ribeye steak didnt fit the description in the menu besides that perfect staff were wonderful made you feel welcomed
Lovely wine glasses and decanter. Brilliant service.
Love taking the opportunity to go here - very happy customers. Thank you.
Lovely Sunday lunch once again - great Welsh beef! Thank you Lyn and James and Chef!
Lovely food as always
Ordered side portion of fries with main meal. Took seven minutes to arrive and arrive still errr with oil so clearly forgotten about. As a result my main neal was going cold and we had a staggered start to our meals. Other than that was well cooked. Bar area extremely noisy, like a drinking pub and the ‘background’ Music was old disco music and definitely too loud.
It was an enjoyable evening. Food was tasty and the service was excellent. We have to the Kenmil Arms many times and we always enjoyed ourselves. However we feel it’s a bit on the expensive side. Thank you for the good service.
Great Sunday lunch again - thank you Lyn and also James
The Kinmel Arms is my favourite place. Always excellent in every way!
We booked a table for 7.45 and we were not seated till 8.40 and this was only once we had cancelled our starters. We never had the menu explained to us, the service was extremely poor and slow. The manager never apologised for the errors. The two bottles of wine we ordered were opened away from the table. There were lots of waitresses stood around doing nothing yet we still waiting far too long to be sat and for our food. When we got our bill it was incorrect and again no apology. She did give us some extra wine but no idea where it came from as it was already open. The food was beautiful but I would not return due to the awful service.
Always a lovely evening out and always made to feel so welcome!
Don't know if the chef has changed since we last dined here, but although the ingredients were good, the food lacked flavour overall. The carrot foam with the terrine was completely tasteless and my fish main course had clearly been waiting on the pass for several minutes - maybe the guinea fowl wasn't ready? The guinea fowl dish was very ordinary and didn't do justice to the excellent basic ingredients. Overall, I'm sorry to say we were disappointed.
Never disappoints! Food consistently delicious. Warm welcome as always. Looking forward to the Spring menu - any excuse to eat here!!!
