Exceptional service, meals really tasty and lovely setting
Pre-ordering with manager ensured lunch for 10 Europa League football officials was on time without any problems. This is the 3rd year I've booked the Kinmel Arms for this event besides enjoying private meals too. Very accommodating. Easy to find and park. Relaxing & pleasant atmosphere. Roma Gray
A bit pricey, but we enjoy an occasional treat. We'd come more often if the prices were a bit lower. Thanks.
Always a nice trip out. Good luck Andy, can’t wait to see all the upcoming changes. It’s a great pub it has a bright future with you at the helm. Thank you for the birthday cake too! 🍻😀
We had lunch a number of weeks ago, it was very good, we all enjoyed it, but when we came for an evening meal, it was a big let down, small portions, over priced and slow service, very disappointed,
Thank you for a Lovely meal in a lovely place with lovely, happy staff.
Another excellent meal at the Kinmel Arms. Our first experience of the Sunday dinner menu. We will be back! Staff are efficient and friendly. All three of us loved our meals. Nice and hot too.
We frequently come to Kenmil Arms. We noticed last time that prices were inappropriately increased!! For example, Ribeye steak was £24 and now £28 , much more than others round here and even further away good quality restaurant. Also the pudding quality and prices were not as expected. We do like the Kenmil Arms & we hope it will take note of the above and keep progressing.
Really enjoyed the whole experience
Overall a very nice evening - there were a couple of large groups in the dining room at the same time so I think they took up a lot of the staff’s time but the service was still very friendly and good. Only constructive comment is to offer table water at the start but a minor thing.
Lovely place. Staff friendly and helpful but not hovering. Loved the setting as did my friends (& the dog). Would recommend and come back myself
Brilliant food and service.....set in a picturesque setting. We couldn’t of asked for a better evening.
A very fine Sunday lunch in a relaxed and very friendly atmosphere. The beef was beautifully cooked, and the sticky toffee pudding was utterly delicious! Excellent service. We'll definitely be back!
This was our 2nd visit bit unfortunately they didn't see. to have the same staff on duty amd the service wasn't great.Staff not as friendly and seemed to be running around not knowing what they was doing.Food took a long while to be served.
Lovely setting and ambiance. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating especially as one of our party was almost an hour late for our booking. Had the traditional afternoon tea which was nice but did not stand out compared to others we have had and was on the pricey side for what it delivered
The food was superb!
This was our first visit has we are on holiday. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and attentive. One of the male staff members went above and beyond to print us some walking maps.We didn't check his name out unfortunately. We dined with our dog and they all made a fuss of him to.We will definitely return before we go back home this week.
It was a bit warm in the conservatory
Absolutely brilliant each time I’ve been there it’s just absolutely brilliant not stayed in one of the rooms yet but I’m sure they will be just as good friendly staff very accommodating, food is out of this world! I use to have a favourite place over in Clitheroe but this place has now taken my number one slot! I was going to submit a picture of my empty plate that I’d uploaded to instagram but there’s no option to
We booked for 7pm. We chose the restaurant on advice that it was a "quality" restaurant. We arrived at 7pm and were shown immediately to our table. Our waiter took our drinks order joking that he didn't know much about wine. I asked for a glass of Shiraz and was given Merlot - no big deal, I like both and I'm not a wine snob - but? We ordered a dish of olives to start and then our mains. I wanted the 8oz ribeye but there were only 10oz ribeye left. At 7.45, having eaten the olives and ordered more drinks we asked if our mains were on their way. Eventually told they were being plated. There were no more than ten other diners in the restaurant at this time. There were at least four service staff. The mains arrived at 7.55pm. Zoe's cod loin was excellent. Unfortunately her broccoli didn't arrive with it. My 10oz ribeye was ok, despite the 2oz fat on it. Starving by now we tucked in. Just as Zoe finished her cod loin the broccoli arrived! Many apologies, but? We declined desserts and coffee. Had the service been better we might have thought the price reasonable, but? Never again.£75 not well spent!
Lovely afternoon tea with very attentive young staff
Very disappointing. A regular customer for many years, now under new ownership. service extremely slow (35 minutes from order to delivery of 4 main courses). Had to ask twice for water on the table. Had to ask for condiments. Had to ask for a shell bowl for mussels. Priced quite high for the quality and quantity of the main dishes. You will really have to up your game.
Very nice facility and food
Once again , a lovely Sunday lunch! This place is a hidden gem.
Afternoon tea was a really excellent experience. As we had a party of 7, it was a shame we couldn't have cake stands as using large plates were a little less atmospheric but it was outweighed by the quality of sandwiches and cakes. Simon's team were very helpful, some plain sandwiches, refilled tea pots, more bara brith, checked we were ok etc. Nothing was too much trouble. A really good afternoon and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for everything
