About The Kings Head Little Marlow
We are a Grade II listed Traditional British Pub located in the quintessential English village of Little Marlow. With its charming period features this is a gem of a country pub.
Our Garden Room is a stylish 50 cover eatery that opens up onto our patio for alfresco dining. With fireplaces for the Winter months this pub is a favourite all year round.
We pride ourselves on the fresh honest food we serve. With a variety of homemade pub favourites served all day.
We had a lovely meal in the sunny garden and our waitress was brilliant. Thank you. This was my first visit here and certainly not my last. Recommend.
Booked our table for 7pm, to be told on arrival that we would be served immediately after a party of 12-15 had been served. Eventually our order was taken about 8pm, then waited a further 30mins for our meals. Eventually we were asked if we wanted puddings, then had to wait another 30-40 mins for them, after complaining. If you have a party in that you know you won't be able to cope with serving other customers then don't take the booking! If we wanted dinner at 8.30pm, then that's when we would have booked for, also apart from the birthday party being served we were virtually the only other customers in the pub - quite awful service.
As always great food and drink from the fabulous team. Love this place!
Had a fantastic evening. Staff were excellent and food was delicious
Staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Roast pork was actually a pork steak rather than sliced pork. Crackling looked a bit odd but did taste like crackling Vanilla cheesecake was on a soggy pastry base rather than a traditional cheesecake crunchy biscuit base. Thought the cheesecake came with white chocolate and strawberries - but then realised the words Ice Cream are missing from the menu. Food was tasty though - cheesecake a bit bland.
Great decor, lovely menu, tasty food, nice staff!
Very enjoyable meal. Staff very helpful.
Everything was good. A few small little things for improvement but the staff were very friendly especially as we had little one with us. Lovely atmosphere. The beef could have been better but overall lovely experience. Will come back again.
We had a lovely mother’s day lunch, would have liked to see more options...especially fish. However our roast(s) were fantastic.
really good servcire, wamr and friendly and good with kids, food was a mixed bag, deserts too a long long time, drinks fine. will be back
Very pretty pub with an interesting menu - a wide choice. Would go again.
Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all staff members who made our wedding lunch such a smooth and successful event. The function room was gorgeous. Everything went really really well and everyone was so happy with the service and food.
As you can see this is a great place to come I was just a little disappointed with the portion size of the vegetables
A very busy traditional English pub with good food and friendly staff.
Large party who pre ordered and it did not disappoint, the service was fast and exactly what was needed.
Helpful and friendly staff. Sunday lunch was delicious. Definitely recommend.
I think there should be a larger selection of lunch time sandwiches and also a choice of bread.
Was not impressed with the grey mincemeat and under cooked potato small 'Pie of the Day' for £13.95. The bar itself however has benefited from the makeover. I will revisit for a Guinness occasionally.
Organised my 30th Birthday meal at The Kings Head in the private dining room and could not fault it. From booking, to the night itself all was perfect and everyone enjoyed! Thank you!
Delicious! Can’t wait to visit again
Food was great, yet there seemed to be problems with service. Waiting staff were pleasant, but often completely absent. We had to find get up and find someone to say that we wanted dessert and there was another couple in the room, who at one stage, looked like they were going to give up on waiting for end-of-meal tea and coffee.
WE had a lovely sunday lunch as a family and we would definitely be back. Head waiter was brilliant. Just what you look for in service giver.
We were very disappointed in our meal at your pub . We waited nearly an hour for our food , we were cold and finally sat by the fire to warm up with our coffee. The food was unremarkable and on the expensive side . I first visited shortly after the pub reopened again we waited a long time for our food but were sympathetic since only 4 Days since reopening . However to now have had a similar experience I will not be back .
Service quite slow but apart from that Fantastic
