About The Kings Head Little Marlow
We are a Grade II listed Traditional British Pub located in the quintessential English village of Little Marlow. With its charming period features this is a gem of a country pub.
Our Garden Room is a stylish 50 cover eatery that opens up onto our patio for alfresco dining. With fireplaces for the Winter months this pub is a favourite all year round.
We pride ourselves on the fresh honest food we serve. With a variety of homemade pub favourites served all day.
Good food, but background music too loud and too many offers written on the board. Draft low alcohol beer not available, quite pricey bill for two drinks and two mains. Unlikely to return.
Great service and good food.
We were rather cold. Mt food was good but my friend's potatoes were cold although she said the taste was great.
Amazing food, wonderful staff. Just very quiet.
Great service, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked main meal followed by delicious and huge desserts. Perfect. Definitely coming back soon.
Food well prepared and tasty. Service prompt and friendly. Good IPA. Prices reasonable. More fish on the menu would be good.
Good food presented by a lovely friendly and helpful waitress. SPOT ON!!!!! at an OLD SPOT pub👍
Impressed that they were able to accommodate my walking group on Sunday with special menu to include sandwiches. The crackling in the pork sandwiches was particularly tasty.
Served by Kelly. Lovely friendly and hospitable. Music night so great entertainment. See you again soon!
Good food, fine selection of ales, excellent service
Excellent food but very poor service!
It's lovely to find a pub that does home cooked food rather than microwaved and bought in food. We had very tasty fish and chips which was piping hot accompanied by homemade tartare sauce and homemade flavoursome mushy peas. The lamb was cooked beautifully, very tender and seasoned perfectly. Staff are always friendly. Garden and patio great on a summers evening. Highly recommend.
Good food and service.
Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday evening deserves to be better supported
First visit - would definitely come again
Not stunning chips were awful not very warm . Expensive for what it was
Lovely venue, especially the beautiful garden on a sunny evening. Food was of a very high quality, very well cooked and presented; we tweaked the dishes slightly to meet tastes and all requests were met without any fuss. Great service.
Always a great venue, with lovely helpful staff. (and the food is fab too !!) Thank you :-)
Fantastic Sunday lunch with the family - service was outstanding and food lovely. Will visit again for sure!
Had a great visit food great with good helpful staff
It was disappointing. Unhelpful response to our guests who arrived first and had not been before, food took over an hour to arrive, drinks very slow to arrive and we had to ask twice for sparkling not still water. Sausages were a bit gristly and only just cooked, very dull desserts choices. We’ve been coming since the pub reopened because despite some chaos the food and staff have been great, and we want to support a local business. But things are not improving and we may have made our last visit. 🙁
We went with a party of 12 and loved the Kings Head. Lovely garden for pre-dinner drinks, a great room off the garden for lunch and the service & food were excellent. Next time we are in Marlow we will definitely go there again
Victoria and Mathew took all the stress out of having a party, they had lovely ideas and were equally open to us adding our own ideas and finishing touches. The evening was managed beautifully, the food was varied and very enjoyable! We will definitely use the venue again and wholeheartedly recommend them to friends!! The setting is stunning after the refurbishment which added to the success of the evening.
