Absolutely fantastic food and super service! Thank you 👌🏼
Amazing as always! A great menu and Sunday roasts alongside normal menu for those who don’t want a roast dinner. Great service and cosy setting.
Never had a bad experience, delicious food in a really relaxing pub with great staff. Not much else you can ask for!
lovely service - not rushed or pushy to attentive when needed. Great food with a local twist where possible and interesting preparation
We had a wonderful family celebration in the pub with 22 of us. Tom and the team looked after us perfectly. Warm, hospitable and very attentive to our needs. A wonderful event and we are very grateful.
Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely food - we'll be back!
Always a great dining experience.
3 of us has the hake and it was delicious as were the puddings.
Brilliant meal- was our first meal out together since having our daughter 10 months ago and it was lovely. Lively atmosphere and very cosy on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Service fast and attentive. All three courses were delicious, perhaps the roast potatoes with the roast pork overly salty but apart from that great! Will be back.
So great to still have pubs like this around. Not one of those big, soulless Gastro pubs but a genuine pub that offers amazing food. Plus the service is always excellent and the waiting staff friendly and attentive.
A wonderful pub, cheers us up when a bit down and laughs with us when we manage to amuse. Excellent choices of staff who share our bad jokes. A place to have fun. Well done! John
We sat on table 6 for our first experience in this restaurant. The door was right behind us. We were cold and constantly disturbed by people coming and going. It was also extremely cramped. There was not enough room for the door to open without one of us having to move our chair on each occasion. It totally spoilt our lunch. We informed the waiter at the end of the meal , who deducted one glass of wine off as an apology! Hardly a generous gesture of good will - as our bill was more than £120.00. Very disapppinting.
Food as always was fabulous but we were surprised to find our apple & berry crumble had been substituted for apple & rhubarb which we weren’t advised of on ordering. It was nice but not as good as the usual crumble. Will still return again though.
Delicious food. Perfectly seasoned and beautiful flavour. We had Ham hock terrine and Crispy squid for starters. An extra sauce of sweet chilli sauce with the squid would have been good. We both had fresh fish fillets - hake and pollock. Both delicious. The samphire was particularly good. Service was great and with a smile. We would definitely go back again when we are in that area.
I think I would have preferred a more traditional rare beef sandwich - two slices of thick untoastd crusty white bread rather than the 'club sandwich' style I was served, but that that is only a personal preference, The beef was superb. My friend said her fish finger sandwich as delicious.
We had Sunday lunch at The Cricketers and it was absolutely delicious. Great, friendly service too.
Always a relaxing evening with a buzz of conversation from other diners. Another group kindly vacated the table reserved for us before they needed to. My daughter who lives in USA says it's her favourite place for supper.
1st time there, lovely place & good food. We will be back, thanks a lot..
Highly recommend - we went for a Sunday roast
Great staff and great food, well kept beer. What else is needed?
We love The Jolly Cricketers. The food drinks and service are consistently excellent and its great that we can bring our dog into the bar when we eat.
Dear Jolly Crix Lovely food & all on Sunday. Tom, Tyler & team on top form, as ever. You dropped a star this week as the girls' veggies - the root ones - with the Sunday roast were somewhat not quite cooked. Tom, as ever, won them round with a glass of prosecco & maintained an upbeat & totally cheery manner notwithstanding the less then good news, of late, from London N17 0BX. Still, 6th is heeps better than 10th. Keep it up & that wandering star will return. Love & best Pip, Pip. TC
