About The Italian Kitchen
The Italian Kitchen is an AA Rosette award-winning Italian restaurant located at Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport. Our aim is to provide our guests with an authentic Italian dining using the best ingredients. The secret to the authentic flavours and aromas in The Italian Kitchen is Head Chef’s insistence on genuine Italian ingredients and fresh local produce.
Our menus are a tour of culinary Italy, taking in several classic regional dishes and some less well-known specialities. We specialise in wood-fired pizzas, traditional pasta, seafood dishes and homemade desserts. And of course, the other gift from Italy’s regions is the exquisite range of wines on offer, most of which are represented in The Italian Kitchen’s well-stocked cellar.
Many restaurants know how to provide a welcome but we know how to make people feel special, how to ensure that our guests’ experience is beyond expectations. We know the story behind each dish and its taste. The Italian Kitchen goes straight to the heart of the Italian dining experience by focusing on ingredients, recipes, atmosphere and hospitality.
Service was horrible. First we waited 15 minutes before anyone came to table. Restaurant was only half full. We ordered 2 entrees. Pasta which was very undercooked and a pizza. My pizza arrived 10 minutes after first entree was served to my daughter. I had to ask where the pizza was. It was very apparent that it was never ordered by server.
Great food and awesome service!
Your staff was very helpful and cheerful. We had a very lovely time. Thank you!
Lovely food, reasonably priced and good atmosphere for a Tuesday night!
Special service from the Manager Girish Attention to details The head chef Jonathan even came to check on our table Highly recommended
The food was really nice but only disappointing thing was the portions where small my wife ending up eating takeaway few hours later as it didn't fill her. other than that it was nice.
Waiting staff, in particular Peter, are knowledgeable and attentive, really add to the experience.
We really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. The food was lovely , the staff very friendly and efficient.
Excellent food and wine, Peter our waiter explained the dishes really well and was very attentive. We will be back, all the staff were welcoming and friendly.
Great service, efficent and timely. Food cooked to order and nice drinks menu. Staff where great when it came to explaining the menu, im vegaterian and they had plenty of options i also tasted the pizza too and it was Great. The lemon chello desert was amazing, will defiantly visit again. Great setting to have in an Airport hotel. Ill be back
i was a little disappointed you changed the pasta that went with the ragu. But it was still delicious!
The availability of the number of vegetarian dishes was very very disappointing, there was only 1 main option, which I find to be a huge let down for the Italian Kitchen. What I had was very nice but it would have been great to have a few more options. This I feel needs to be addressed it is for this reason I would not dine at the Italian Kitchen again or recommend to my many vegetarian friends.
We were delighted by the delicious food and excellent service at The Italian Kitchen on our final evening in Dublin before returning home to the United States. Thank you for helping our holiday end on such a high note!
Such polite staff and really went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying the meal. Food was absolutely beautiful, best Italian i have ever eaten.
From the time we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted and seated very quickly and our server Niamh was fantastic very pleasant and funny. Will be back it was so relaxing and food was excellent.
As we were flying out early we decidedly to chance it, staying in & booked for dinner - best decision! With a variety of flexible dining spaces, nice ambience and service that was prompt, friendly & highly efficient, instead of a ‘hotel’ meal we had a lovely dinner. The food was fabulous, with great fresh tastes and combinations which worked a treat for teenagers & myself alike. The desserts were a perfect size and beautifully plated up- if we didn’t live 17,000kms away we’d be regulars! Well done to your team
Five of us had dinner this seemed to cause a problem with seating if we were four we would have had a nicer table. Not much effort put into sorting our table. Sitting under a bright light no atmosphere. Three of us stayed here in July table great, dinner great which is why we came back. Some of the vegetables in my fish were not cooked properly. Not sure if I would return again...
Really good food and nice staff
Staff were friendly, food was very nice.
We had a family dinner here with 2 small children. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back
First time visiting and we will definitely be back!
Better selection of the dessert menu.
The food was AMAZING. Friendly waiter. Not a large selection of white wines but we were pointed in the right direction and were able to try first.
Excellent food presented well. Well trained staff who demonstrated knowledge of the Menu. Cery impressed to be honest.
