About The Inn at Brough
The Restaurant is a lovely example of plain Georgian elegance and the à la Carte menu caters for even the most discerning diner. Our wine list is small but comprehensive; all our wines are reasonably priced and chosen to compliment our menus. The house wines are a delight.
I think some starters and puds are a bit expensive. The food was good but not Amazing! Good service and atmosphere though
We really enjoyed our short stay and hope to return in future Welcoming helpful staff made us feel very relaxed and pampered Loved tastful decor and fittings all immaculate Appreciated special touches such as fresh milk and water in fridge and lovely toiletries Food very good and freshly cooked Wished we could have stayed longer
business guest left thoroughly impressed. thankyou
Really enjoyed our "short visit" for lunch...most enjoyable. Staff were excellent ...Thank you. We shall return.... Thanks.
As ever, a warm welcome, excellent service and good food. Particularly appreciated, as I had had a long drive back from a working weekend, and was very tired.
Hi, Great service and even a lift home afterwards! But having no real ale on offer was a letdown - the area is rich with great breweries and really some ale should be on sale. Not everyone likes bottled Peroni. Plus, the ale would work brilliantly would some of your meat dishes.
The Inn at Brough is superb! As local people, we had heard good reports but our high expectations were exceeded. The service was friendly and efficient without being over-bearing. The food was really excellent. As a party of 9, we sampled most of the menu and everyone was delighted. The cheese and onion soufflé was top notch. My only comment was that my ever hungry teenage boys would have appreciated being offered a portion of the chunky chips and side vegetables to boost portion size. The rest of us were more than satisfied but young people of that age can eat for England! Well done and thank you for making our 21st Birthday meal so special. I do think the wine is a bit expensive.
Another superb meal in beautiful surroundings with great staff.
Had a beautiful supper on Sunday evening - the special deconstructed club sandwich was a delight! The cassoulet was one of the tastiest meals I have had a the Inn, and would highly recommend it to others.
We love coming to The Inn @ Brough. Everyone so friendly, menu mouth watering and when the order comes - delicious. Will be back.
We had a wonderful time at the inn at brough. The decor and atmosphere is fantastic, the food and service is the same. Although my steak arrived over cooked, it was changed very quickly and a round of drinks were knocked off the bill. I will definitely be eating at the inn again.
food excellent, staff very friendly and efficient
We had the best Christmas lunch ever: wonderfully tasty food in elegant surroundings. Not cheap, but good value owing to the delicious flavours conjured from a highly traditional menu.
Excellent service, supported by excellent food. Thank you for making our evening a success.
Highly recommend lovely food and friendly staff
Will be returning to The Inn at Brough every time we are in the area. Hope to be back soon!
Overall, a very pleasant experience. The value for money has been sored only 4 stars - though the food was good value the wine was rather overpriced.
Excellant food and service well worth a visit!!!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the accommodation was first class and we had an excellent dinner.
great night out
