Food was really lovely. Only complaint was one person had bad chips as in overcooked. Service was really good. Had an enjoyable evening with friends. Thank you.
10/10 all round. Aural (Carol ?) was a great waitress!
Really good service and the whole group enjoyed the food. Excellent
Lovely lunch. Fantastic service and enjoyed the free prosecco as a birthday treat. Thanks
Left standing for table and half hour later than booked
Really nice place. Good choice of beers and wine. The staff were really nice and helpful. The food was really good. Had a steak with pepper sauce and often in these places the sauces are a bit runny and vinegary but this one was creamy and delicious. Going back again soon.
Brilliant food and lovely staff
Had the Sunday lunch.
Cannot fault any aspect of my experience here. The staff are always welcoming and the food is delicious and served wonderfully.
Service was a bit slow but the restaurant was very busy because of the time of year. Staff were very pleasant Food was excellent
Cold food that we waited along time for. Table's meals then didn't come out together. Would not recommend and would not go back.
Great night for a works do. Food was sent out in good timing and drinks kept flowing.
Had a great meal thank you
Everything was very good. This was our second visit and it was as good as last time. Good choice of food too
Really disappointed with our visit to the hub this time. Ordered our food and waited nearly an hour for a sandwich, Garlic bread was awful worst I’ve ever had in my life, it was like a pancake with a bit of melted garlic butter on top and the chips never arrived. However we did get complimentary drinks. Think twice about going again.
Very well looked after, food good. a really nice afternoon!
Thank you for a superb evening, it was a Birthday celebration with friends. Very tasty food, creatively prepared and presented, lovely selection of wines and beers and nice atmosphere with friendly and efficient staff. Looking forward to coming back again soon!
Three of us and the main course came out for two but waited quite a while for the other, no one even noticed we were waiting for another meal or apologised, sausage and bacon and stuffing balls felt like they had been deep fried to reheat, this was the meal we waited for, rest of food was lovely, that meal really poor
One of my favourite restaurants in the city centre, great location, good food and friendly staff!
Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and we will be back again.
Well, after receiving an email from the hub especially for my birthday inviting me there for a free bottle of wine with my meal as a birthday treat, I thought oh that’s nice why not?!!! Firstly we arrived (me my partner and 3 kids) shown to our table which was fine apart from the room having no heating on so we sat with our coats on. We ordered from our designated waiter whom barley looked at us or came near us. When the food arrived firstly it went to the next table then was whisked away an thrown in front of us. We ordered 3 Sunday roasts, potatoes were burned the rest was Luke warm with zero taste as my other children were so hungry we had to try and eat ours as we couldn’t make them wait any longer. When the kids arrived shortly after both burned their mouths on beans and couldn’t eat the chicken strips as they were too hard. When the waiter asked was everything ok I told him the potatoes were burned he said would you like another portion. I couldn’t be bothered to hang around as it was too cold and my kids wanted to leave. That’s was as much as we seen of the waiter he never came near again. However he did count his tips out behind me for 10 mins! The free bottle of wine for my birthday never happened!!! Not even a happy birthday greet. My partner decided he would speak to the manager who knocked the price of the past dinners off the bill. All in all I will not be returning probably one of the worst meals I’ve eaten ever. Completely ruined my 40th birthday. Thanks hub alehouses
Fab food and service as always
Had a lovely meal..service was excellent despite it being very busy. Staff were polite, friendly & welcoming!
