Fantastic meal as always
The music was far too loud for 5.15pm on a Saturday.
Really good. Really enjoyed the food. However our order did get forgotten to put through so waited around 1hr30 mins for food. We did recieve a free round of drinks for this mistake.
Food good as usual, we were a bit disappointed with the cocktails too much ice not enough alcohol, and the gin based cocktail came in a normal tumbler, that said would recommend.
Great place to meet old friends. Great food and atmosphere plus good service too. We'll be back.
We have eat here regularly since it opened, the food never disappoints, we have even booked for a Christmas Lunch In December.
Food was delicious and services and staff were great.
We have ate at your restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed it. Just found it a bit noisy this time couldn’t have a conversation
Delicious food & nicely presented, the squash risotto was really tasty and I loved the crispy sage on top. Side salad was a decent serving size. We also liked the dry prosecco served with a strawberry on the glass :-) will be back. Thank you.
Great quick service and all staff were efficient and pleasant. All meals were excellent and served quickly.Be back again soon
Even though it was very busy the service and food was excellent. I can't fault it.
Good evening out with the family
I usually luv the Hub but was disappointed with the food it was cold and the portions are getting smaller, hopefully getting feed back on this might help.
Poor sharing platter...tasteless chicken & ribs that were grey in colour. Gave some feedback to the staff but they didn't seem particularly interested.
Good night, food nice but as we were in a large group the service for the drinks was very slow.
Highly recommended from all points of view. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal - the sirloin steak was the best I've had in two years - since I had one at Bistro Frank, actually! We've already booked our Christmas meal here and are really looking forward to it. By the way, I've already written a 5-star TripAdvisor review as well.
I had a lovely afternoon at the Hub with my friend. Food was gorgeous & the wine was nice too. Thank you x
Great welcome from Tom. Good service and delicious food. Highly recommend!
Always good food and the service is excellent. Good size menu to pick from.
Very good experience
We had a fab time food was gorgeous. Service was fantastic. Definitely be back for more 10 out of 10
What a disappointment! Have often walked past this place and thought it looked nice so decided to give it a try - wish we hadnt bothered. Upon arrival the table wasn't ready, so had to wait in the bar area with two young children. We then went on to wait over an hour for food - it took speaking to three members of staff before the food finally arrived - and when it did arrive it was cremated. Then got the age old "we're understaffed in the kitchen". As a customer, I couldn't care less! If there were issues in the kitchen they should have stopped taking bookings. They did take the cost of the food off the bill so we paid for drinks only but a rare family meal out was ruined.
We enjoyed our visit. We did wait 40 minutes for our main meals, which wasn’t a problem for us, but when you put a 2 hour time slot on the table, when booking, and there was 6 of us eating, it may be a problem for others.Apart from that we would return.
We have visited The Hub with family and friends on countless occasions over the years and have always enjoyed the great service, foot and atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience on Thursday was completely different. We were seated straight away but waited so long for a waiter take our drinks order, I went to the bar myself to order drinks! We waited further for service and eventually asked a member of the front of house team to send someone over to take our order. When the waitress did arrive at our table, she was abrupt and offered little apology. Our starter arrived promptly, but then we waited over 40 minutes for our main courses. In the meantime, we had to ask the front of house staff to take our drinks order. The food was satisfactory and not up to the usual Hub standard. Our experience that night was really poor and has tainted my view on what I once considered a reliable and enjoyable venue. At this point, I’m not too sure if we will return.
