Took half an hour before drinks were brought, guy who said he would bring them didn’t. food had no taste, service was slow, garden door kept being opened so it was cold, but nice atmosphere and staff. I came because I went yrs ago as a kid and got knickerbocker glory’s but none were on the menu anymore.

However this is no excuse for a delay in service or a drop in our standards. i shall speak with the staff regarding the delays in your drinks order and i shall speak with our head chef in regards to your food comments. I do apologise that the Dessert you requested was not on the menu, we have changed many aspects of our menu and i shall put the idea of this 'classic' addition to our Kitchen department. Food was excellent- I’m very happy one of the Galgorm Group hotels now have fajitas back on the menu (Gillies used to, but not for many years)! Obviously with renovations going on, the temporary positioning of The Grill Room in the lobby/bar area isn’t ideal, but is fine. I look forward to seeing the finished hotel. Will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic night, we were made feel welcome, there was a lovely friendly atmosphere. The food was beautiful and everyone had plenty to eat. The staff were very obliging and brought my mum a birthday cake (which we provided) to celebrate her 85th birthday and made her feel very special. Great night had by all. Thank you.

I was put off my meal because the chips tasted as if they where fried in fish oil, this put me off my tea and I left most of it, service was good staff very nice and friendly how every not good value for money with food tasting like that, Sorry but you did ask for my feed back, would I go back Sorry but NO

The grill room was being refurbished so we were seated in the bar. I’d have liked to have been informed of this at the time of booking as there was little or no atmosphere. That said staff were very professional. The continual ringing of the phone (largely unanswered) was very annoying.

Difficult to leave feedback when renovations are underway but I hope restaurant and bar area are more defined when work done .. Whole inside of building needs brightened with more natural light ..( dated windows , carpets , light fittings need changed )

Our group of 3 had lovely meals and dessert in the bistro. Service was very good with friendly helpful staff. Atmosphere was just right for a pleasant dining experience with friends as the bistro was frequented by families and couples and small groups so it was a good mix.
